EDGEof2MORO:Iran should tell us if the whole world is whom Iran is fighting? And you keep supporting them. |
Thank God for your life. The mistake you make was not returning home the moment things got awkward. You can not give me an address to come and defend something at a location and on getting there, you're telling me it's in another location! In fact, the statement "prepare to stay over" was enough red flag Well, just take it as a lesson, count your losses and move on. That's life |
He's not putting all his eggs in one basket..... it's all it takes to be a smart obidient |
If you know how to drive manual car before, it's better to buy a manual car as your first. It's less sensitive and rugged (usually). But if you have not been driving manual car before now, pls simply go for automatic because the gear would give you issues and might end up burning your clutch many times before you get it right. So, as a first timer, manual is better (only if you're proficient in driving manual before now). |
Well, as pitiable as her narration and condition is, there's one thing I think she needs to clarify. You are in a foreign country, a teenager has approached you for help but you could not help the teenager by reporting to the police so that the hotel would be investigated. The only thing you could do was to take her to your own country without the knowledge or consent of anybody around, for keeps or to do what for you exactly? Not her parents, not any adults that would know that you actually meant well? It's unimaginable, it's a red flag. She needs to be properly investigated and if she is found guilty, she should be prosecuted. If she is not, she should be released and allowed to go back to her country. That is where it starts. You go to another country to pick somebody and bring back to your country and you are able to do that unchallenge, you will definitely go back there to pick another person because you would believe you would always get away with it. It does not work that way. Ignorance is not an excuse in the law. |
Englishisamust:yes you can |
babastanlolo:Did you read at all? Or you just saw 2.5m and you rushed to comment? The first 4 months savings of 400k each gives you 1.6m but I made it 1.5m (to cater to unplanned expenses) for the land, even if it's half in a modest environment, probably a suburb or so. The next 4 months savings (totaling another 1.5m) from foundation to window level. The next 4 months savings of 1.5m plus a loan of 1m (total 2.5m) from window level to roofing level. Then relax, pay your 1m loan for the next 6 months and also take care of yourself and family. Also remember that the loan came at a cost (interest). After the loan is paid, get another loan (of 1.5m) and continue to roofing proper. After that is paid in another six months, Relax, pay back in 6 months and get 1m loan for your plastering, doors etc. your home is ready. If you do the math, 1.5m + 1.5m + 2.5m + 1.5m + 1m = 8m all in a space of 2 years and 2 months and you're a landlord. Like I said, without financial discipline, you can not do it. But with determination and financial discipline, you're good to go. |
Of course yes. If you earn 600k monthly in 2026 and you fail to build, it means it's your decision not to build. The fact that Lagos landlords have decided to increase their rent on a monthly basis is enough push for you to start something with your 600k. In the first place, I see no reason why you can not live on 200k monthly. Make sure you buy your foodstuffs and other essentials at month end. Save for 3 months and get a plot of land for 1.5m in a modest environment, even if it's half plot. Then, save 400k for another 4 months and use the 1.5m to move from foundation to window level. Save for another 4 months, get a loan of 1m and add to your 1.5m. that's 2.5m and you're already at the roofing level. Then, relax, pay your loans for another 6 months, and get another loan and roof your house. Subsequently, you start your plastering, plumbing, electrification, finishing etc. Before you know it, 2 years from now, you're living in your own house. So yes, with 600k, even with a family of 4, you will build. It only depends on your financial discipline. With a 600k salary, I don't expect you to live anywhere on the island, and I don't expect you to enroll your child in British International School. If you cut your coat according to your cloth, you will become a landlord and even have tenants. |
Why are the obidients always jittery whenever any popular candidate intends to join the race? I thought they said their Obi is the most popular candidate? Let them all test their popularities at the primaries now? No primaries, no ticket. |
Never knew we had so many terrorists on this platform. Iran is contemplating tampering with the Internet cable belonging to other continents and some terrorists are saying it's a welcome development. But if the effect comes back to hunt your own country and things escalate, you would blame your president, forgetting that your country rely on the west for a number of things. So, when they're in crisis, the spiral effects hit your country too. In the first place, Iran has no business blocking the strait of houmouz because it didn't create it. But blocking it now has affected oil prices all over the world but you're here blaming your president that fuel is now 1,350. Just continue cheering them on. We are all in it together. A terrorist will always be a terrorist. |
Wealthyonos:How you people reason amuses me. And this is why I always disagree with obidients. How does Kwankwaso having a presidential ambition make him greedy or a joker like you called him? I'm not surprised anyway, it's your trade mark and you can't even make any point without insulting. Deal with it. |
But I want to believe that there's a state government in that state and the government chairman to call all the needed attention. |
Hmmm... another heads up. Our girls should know by now that any focused, ambitious and hardworking guy , who shows genuine interest whenever she's up to 24 years and above should be taken seriously. You should also work or have something doing to augment whatever he has so it gets easier and better. If you allow him to slip away, well, of course you might meet someone much better and richer (but it's not guaranteed). Be guided! My 2 cents. |
I pity some people 😂😂😂😂😂😂 2027 is just a few months away. I don't want to hear "we were deceived" The air castle being built is just too big to be ignored ". We're watching in 10D |
Coming online to cry live for sympathy and content is the height of irresponsibility. |
Just as usual |
Wow! wow! wow! Different people, different faces, different mentality, different orientation. Although, I know I might not be able to advise the op appropriately because where I don't have much personal experiences, I don't make suggestions. However, if I'm to put myself in your shoes, with #10m in my account, honestly traveling would be the very last thing on my mind. I would put that money to work in this same country Nigeria and in 5 years, that same amount would be worth #50m. Truly, Nigeria has issues, the economy not very fabulous but promising, electricity issues, security issues etc. if you are very present in this country, you would see that we have a lot of issues. Just look for one issue you can solve and make life easier for a segment and boom! You're in money. I believe where the real money is is where there are problems and you can come up with a solution. So I can only suggest that the op to consult widely before making decisions so that he would use the money wisely. I can not advise him because I'm not used to japa. Those experienced in japa should advice him. But for me, if I have 10m, I'm not traveling. That money would eventually generate the money I would use to travel for pleasure and vacation, not to spend it on travel process only to begin on a clean slate in a foreign country. Peace. |
anonimi:The need to fix the existing roads should not invalidate the importance of building the new ones. Come to think of it, the existing ones got bad as a result of overuse. And remember that the population keeps growing. We keep complaining that there is no money yet we keep producing! If you live in Lagos, you would agree with me that the third mainland bridge today is a lifesaver as the effect of lack of it as of today can only be imagined. Meanwhile, Lagos never had half of the present population when that bridge was built by the IBB government. Becides some of these existing roads are being fixed. Lagos expressway is being fixed, Onitcha-Enugu expressway, which has been in bad shape for years that I know of, is also being fixed. Same goes for Lagos-Benin-Ore expressway and many others that I cannot mention here now. Though we cannot exonerate these politicians from what we are suffering today because they are all the same, at the same time we must also let them know if they have done well. But saying that there is no need to build new roads is completely out of it. Lagos Calabar coastal road is a very good one too as a journey of 13 hours would be cut down to 5 hours when completed. This money is there let them spend it to give us good infrastructures. Your unborn generations will be grateful for it. |
Mattswaggz:Mechonu. If he reach your, use your personal money to build road. Hatreditis in the blood |
fatherjesse:And who are you to stop him from pursuing his presidential ambition? He's a Nigerian and has a right to vote and be voted. Mr. Peter Obi running for presidency doesn't take away Goodluck Jonathan's rights. Be guided. |
Gbadugbakun:So, Tinubu is the one telling everyone of them what to do, how to fight themselves, how not to organize themselves and how to be an opposition in disarray 😂😂😂😂.... It's not only Tinubu's hand, it's Tinubu's teeth.🏃🏃🏃 |
b0rn2fuck:Keep it up. I can only advise you but the wisdom and decisions to heed advice rests solely on you. |
esnbrutality:When you do things, put yourself in the shoes. You have a Yoruba man representing a constituency in one of your eastern states and he wants to send 27 people on overseas training and then all he could send are 24 people from Oyo State and only 3 from your own state. What would you say. Answer this question truthfully. |
Dele should join the race instead of all these he's doing that we can't understand. If he can't join, I guess he should just return to his Ovation magazine and leave politics for the politicians. |
Kukutente23:You people will just be peddling rumors you can not substantiate. Show us your proof or you keep shut your mouth. |
Curious345:As if politicians can be that trusted |
Now I see why Peter Obi is running away from contesting for the ticket. I wish him well though |
LegendHero:Pls tell him. Ring it like bell into his ears. If he's not satisfied, well! Lots of transformers everywhere on the street. |
SmartPolician:Why are you so bitter? This your hatreditis will not send you where you don't want |
b0rn2fuck:Guy, very dangerous! Expect anything. I pray you repent on time.🏃🏃🏃 |
That is why they're not showing their loyalty and support to his ambition. Build people, the same people that grow with you will always be there for you, you say 'no'. It has to be only me! The results are right there staring you in the face. All those supporters you see with Kwankwaso would not be with him if they've not benefitted at one point or the other. But the obidients are the youths, most of whom were not even of age when he was governor in anambra . So they would always swallow whatever they're fed hook, line and sinker. |
