All these back and forth, pasting your appointment letter in the public domain will solve all these problems. That's the only proof that you're actually employed. |
obeegee:Thank you very much for this response. I checked the links out and discovered that, although, pricing is among the reasons but they were accused of 2 things, implementing prices different from what they have on the shelf tag (that is deceit, and is fraudulent). Secondly, they got products of companies (like Caprice and stallion) that had long shut down and no longer in existence, meaning they were either selling expired products or they changed the products into pirated bags of caprice and stallion in order to deceive people to buy their products. In order words, they were picketed for fraudulent and sharp practices. And for that, I just they were made to face the consequences probably after having their day in the Court. |
obeegee:Pls give me the link where it says the reason the supermarkets were picketed was pricing. I need to check that out because the last time I checked, supermarket products were not regulated and there's nothing like price control. It's strictly forces of demand, supply and location that determines the price. Do well to paste the link here and let Nigerians check it out. Then I'll respond to that. Thank you. |
Adire people should get ready. Awon lo kan. They will make so much money and be thankful for this initiative from the federal government. Now, this is a business opportunity staring a lot of people in the face but some people will still find fault in this and complain about not having a job. This is the time for serious people to take positions. |
Newsmills:Ha😂😂😂. Tell us what you wanna check 😂. You obviously can't even see anything to check because they'll both be shattered into pieces....1454 ft above the ground! People can be daring! |
obeegee:FCCPC will not bite because the downstream is fully deregulated. That is the reason we no longer queue up for hours/days at the filling station. And at this point, I doubt if there's anything even the government can do about it because any step at this point might result in some hostility and resistance from the oil marketers. The only way out is to encourage enough competition. Issue about 10,000 import license to just any company or organization willing to go into the business. So that we have more people importing and more filling stations litter everywhere. Maybe by then, the existing ones will learn to price their products reasonably. |
MaziObinnaokija:DM, let's talk |
commoditiesnig:Abeg leave that guy alone. I don't bother dignifying his type with comments. No matter what happens, they only see negativity in everything good news. |
prinsam30:What do you mean by that? Did you read the post at all or the money part was the only thing you saw ! FYI, the woman has been disfigured, operated upon, part of her abdomen scrapped to repair part of her arm et al. How does she enjoy her life again. Even if you give her 1 trillion, how does she spend the money in peace and happiness? |
I am not surprised. Obidence are what they are. And their principal never sees anything wrong with that. You will never see him condemn such wrongdoing. |
LegendHero:Are you saying that the roads constructed by abia State governor in Aba have no drainages? |
We don't know northerners to engage in online fraud and identity theft. Has it just started? |
slivertongue:And your memory failed you to the extent that you were unable to name those who made Tinubu that he turned against. If you don't know a story, you keep quiet. Stop saying what you don't know. Open your mouth only when you know and can back it up with verifiable facts. |
I hope some people can now see the reason I was against those who claimed that we were not supposed to be importing again just because we now have a local private refinery. For crying out loud, fuel was sold for #739 when crude was sold for $70 in February. It climbed to #1324 when crude was $120 . Now same crude is back to $68.8 and the fuel doesn't want to come down in the same progression. Someone should please tell me why a liter of fuel should be sold for more than #710 as of today if not for exploitation! These people are in business to make money and it's just unfortunate that we don't have enough competition in the downstream sector of oil and gas industry. By now, we should have about 10 other local refineries competing for customers. In the absence of that, pls let's have about 100 companies bringing in petrol into the circulation. |
To put it in proper perspective, don't ever buy a used phone from anybody, whether with receipt or not! Even the new one you are buying, ensure you buy from a reliable source. I won't mention names or brands so it doesn't sound like an advertisement. Buying a million naira worth of phone for 300k will do you dirty than buying your brand new touch light phone with your 30k with pride and peace of mind. Be guided to avoid stories that touch. |
Mathewrichard99:Oga, smal small na |
Honestly I am ashamed for some educated illiterates. Remi Tinubu was not even referring to them yet they carried the matter on their head like gala. Remi Tinubu has made donations/grants (free money, not loans) of #50k each to petty traders and was now addressing them on what they can do with the money, which was obviously a suggestion even while she has donated billions on health matters also in the same environment. The matter that has absolutely nothing to do with them, but because they are idle and have too much of free time on their hands, they would not even bother to listen to the entire story before attacking the innocent woman. It boils down to the upbringing of most of them. And it's just unfortunate. I'm sure most of them think the government would just wake up one day and start dashing them 1 million naira each. To them, that is when they would know that the government is working. While I know that all these are political, people should not be hasty to pass judgement when they've not heard the whole story. Even the person who recorded it mischievously removed the gifts and donations part but brought only the kulikuli part to the public domain. Isn't that bad enough? |
His village people got his time, and his cup runneth over. I am sure he will be explaining to the authorities within days. All his identity, pictures, and everything needed are right there, fully cast online. So, he's more like a low-hanging fruit for them. Crime has never paid, and it never will. |
MarketDispatch:If course, you should know it was foreign sponsorship programs! |
The man get money o..he don go donate some millions again! Is that not advanced voxe bxxing? ... Do your own project from start to finish so you can lay claim, mbanu. All these millions...... What do I know sef. |
Am I surprised? Why am I not surprised? Because money na water😂😂🏃🏃🏃 |
BlocksNG:you're so insensitive. Your type should not be on such a platform as this. Those are people's families under the rubble and the only thing could spew is Tinubu building Lagos. Does the post look like comedy or politics to you? |
Oh wow! This is obviously not for gen Zs, they're seriously missing! |
Kukutente23:Just imagine your reasoning! I've always known there will always be some people that will have diarrhea over every good news. I guess you're feeling good with the state of insecurity in the country. You're the real definition of your Monica😂😂 |
CharlesCNG:Honestly bro, you said it all. And on whether the approval of 24 state legislatures can be secured, that's a done deal because I don't see any state that will downplay the issue of kidnapping and insecurity at this present time. We need the state police abeg. Let the indigenes, who understand their terrain be in charge of their own security within their own territory. |
blackgold2018:This is under the state portfolio. Tinubu can not tell them how to do it. His only responsibility is to get them the approval and the legality. How they choose to do it is up to them. By law, Tinubu has his own limitations when it comes to matters that do not fall within the federal jurisdictions. |
WizardOfNG:Let's wait and see if he will react to this. And the direction of his reactions when he does eventually. |
helinues:Any state that takes security seriously will make financial provisions for it's implementation. Any state that sees the funding as an issue here is not a serious state and should be investigated! Nothing can be more important than security at this point. |
Basic123:All in 3 years! The man has tried abeg. He hit the ground running like he promised and there he is! |
Hi thrillionaire:They're all products of bad parenting! If a child can appear on video like that and is not ashamed! A lot has gone wrong, honestly! |
Wispower:Pele o, English teacher! My comments not for people like you. If you can't contribute meaningfully, stay off my mention. It's a forum where opinions are aired, not a linguistic class. |
yarimo:You know Wike is a man of balls, an emperor and a achiever, who's so efficient in the discharge of his ministerial duties! So, they must always assume and always have something to say about him. And I like him for one thing, he never listen to the haters! They can say whatever, he never cares. He just does his job. If many other ministers can be like her in performance and commands, Nigeria will grow faster in infrastructure. |
