I'm sure Obi's supporters and the obidients are proud of their candidate now with this. If you must run away from troubles and always looking for an easy way out, yet you're looking to come and govern a country of over 220million people and hundreds of tribes and ethnicity rolled into one, then you obviously need an evaluation because something is definitely wrong somewhere. Even Buhari never ran away during COVID 19 and economic recession!

Jonathan too never ran away when Ebola broke out. Tinubu never ran away despite you people bashing him left, right and center in spite of all his efforts to make things right. This is simply a proof that if Obi wins and becomes a president of Nigeria and then things get tough, he would abandon you people.

People should open their eyes wide and do an objective appraisal of whom they intend to vote for.

When a party is established or registered, it has the trustees who showed up and submitted documentation for it's registration. Even if and when there's a change in leadership, there must be appropriate and approved documentation to back it up. And anyone who goes about claiming leadership, who is not among the approved leaders should be arrested and prosecuted for impersonation.

Truly the matter go long but the tenant has an edge here. You don't bring people into an unsafe place just because of the money you want to collect in the name of rent. You owe everyone you bring to your space that duty of care. In fact, forget this matter, it is a law that applies to everyone. If you invite someone to your house and anything happens to him (whether you're around or not), you will be liable. Whether it's morally right or wrong, the law is the law.

The only way he could be exonerated here is if the tenant has been informed to not park there. If there's was nothing like that, the landlord is liable because he's fully responsible for whatever happens within his compound.

It doesn't work like that. The main persons responsible for the failure is the landlord and the fabrictor/engineer of the project. When the landlord puts a cap of how much he's willing to spend on a project, the fabricator/engineer should refuse the job if he knows the cost can't make the designed capacity. Failure to adhere to this principle makes him culpable in this disaster. Nigerians will be ready to build a house with broom sticks if they're told it can made to LOOK like a solid block structure and it would be cheap. They lack the understanding that load bearing structure WILL FAIL if not properly calculated and accounted for while building. This usually results to 3X cost of the first compared to doing it correctly the first time.
The supplier is only implicated if he sells the wrong description to them instead of the right on they asked in the first place. This is where the experience of the fabricator/engineer comes into play. He should be able to tell that the product presented by the seller isn't the right capacity despite the claims made.
Construction and fabrication isn't something to be careless with. It will cost plenty lives and resources if it fails. A doctors mistake may kill one person or a few but an engineers will kill multitude.

You are right on point bro. The landlord is the culprit here. If the tenant sues the landlord, it's up to the landlord to either rope in the fabricator or not.

Besides, we don't do things right in this country. And this is where regulations come into play. But unfortunately, those who are to carry out the regulatory oversight are also corrupt. If the entire structure, (building and the tank stand inclusive), was certified and the end of the construction, this might have been prevented because the landlord would have been mandated to reconstruct the stand if it didn't meet the acceptable standards.

You have to start by looking at their antecedents by certain parameters. What they have done to make lives easier for their people, the number of friends, associates and common men they lifted out of poverty while their tenure last, and how relevant their associates and those who work under them are today in the scheme of things.

If as a governor, you don't have a good score in any of these criteria, we can't point to those who once worked with you, some people can not come out to thank God for whom they have become today just because they had an opportunity to have met or worked with you, you can not point to the infrastructure you built in your state which your people can still point to today? We can not see the legacy projects you built while you were the head of a state government.

This is not about sentiments, it's logical.

Only your antecedents can speak for you, not your likeness for one against the other. I am not a South Easterner, and as such, have no point favouring one against the other.

If you pass all those tests, then you can contest. If you don't, just go to your house and forget about contesting.
