uchemac2:Hi Dear, Many thanks for this. I'm very much interested. I'll be looking forward to your reply. |
uchemac2:Insect Ecology and Toxicology alongside Invasion Biology (study of invasive alien plants and animals - insects) |
harriet412:Yes, feel free. |
To publish in Internationally reputable Journals. |
wheenie:Amen to that! You'll get it. Cheers! |
harriet412:.. Apologies for the late reply. I studied Animal and Environmental Biology, however, I specialize(d) by being a member of several research teams in Entomology (insect ecology and toxicology). Are you interested in or keen on knowing more about Entomology? |
Reading people's testimonies moved me so much. Well, 2017 has been an interesting year. I'm grateful to God for the gift of life including that of my Brothers and Parents. I'm happy that my name was well cited and published alongside other co-authors in the book of proceedings of the NYA (Nigerian Young Academy) and ESN (Entomological Society of Nigeria) conferences which took place at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources and Nnamdi Azikiwe University respectively (I submitted five scientific articles, and they were all accepted). I'm currently serving in the North, and at my place of assignment, I was given free accommodation with constant light and water, alongside a monthly stipend. What a Marvelous God! Cheers! |

9jakohai:Okay. Thanks |
9jakohai:I cannot agree less. Are you an academic? |
Well, 2017 has been an interesting and challenge-filled year. First and foremost, I want to thank God for my life (having recovered from malaria), that of my family and friends. One major achievement this year is that one of my papers was published in a national Journal. In addition, two of my manuscripts were accepted and presented at the Nigerian Young Academy (affiliated to the Nigerian Academy of Science) conference in FUPRE. Equally important, Three of my manuscripts were accepted, presented and published in the book of proceedings of the Entomological Society of Nigeria conference in UNIZIK. Osanobua uwese kakabo! I'm believing God Almighty for more. Thanks! PS: I'm still a corp member |
Hi: Please add me : 07059986558 |
It's simple if I remember my chemistry correctly (volumetric analysis). Using the formula Number of moles= Concentration (C, in mol/dm3) * Volume (in cubic decimeters,dm3) . From your question, the concentration of HCL required is 0.5M. Remember, number of moles (n) = mass/molar mass. Therefore, we can rewrite the formula (above) as: Mass/molar mass = C × V. Molar mass of HCL = 1 + 35.5= 36.5g/mol Since the concentration required is 0.5M, it means the volume is in dm3 which is also equivalent to a litre. Consequently, our volume is 1dm3 or 1 litre. what's left is the mass of HCL. Thus, the mass of HCL required to give us 0.5M of HCL solution = molar mass of HCL× concentration × volume = 36.5 × 0.5 × 1 = 18.25g. In sum, we need to dissolve 18.25g of HCL in 1 litre of water (or any solution specified). Please, follow suit and tackle that for sodium trioxocarbonate (IV). Cheers. |
Nice one Op. For your information, I and other folks from the University of Benin will follow suit next week by God's Grace. Best wishes! |
NMUniversity:Hi Dear: Please can you forward me their email address or any address I can use to contact them? |
wonlasewonimi:Hi, good morning. Please, I'm also very much interested in the e-book on how to make use of ms-excel. I'll be super-excited if you can kindly send it to me via email (yemiadetimehin@gmail.com). Many thanks for your kind attention. Lest I forget, nice one Op. |
Investnow2017:Although, your conclusion is anecdotal, nevertheless, I can categorically say your thoughts are consistent with mine. |
Despite the fact that my writing skills (both academic and scientific) are still at the preliminary stages, I must confess that your thoughts as regards to writing are very much consistent with mine. Seeing badly written post(s) online these days is/are not uncommon. Nice one Op. |
This is fun! Someone should shoot me. Truth! |
