So inappropriate to be using the tribute to her husband to throw shade. Very wrong. Mere reading the tribute shows why this woman is so much disliked. Character is truly like smoke, it MUST come out one way or the other. |

BreconHills: Not completely true. You might be surprised at the identities of some of the regular contributors here. Many of whom love the cut and thrust of NL more than they love people bowing to them. They use it to humanise themselves and stay grounded.
I cant speak for the person you are replying but that algorithm you just floated is not correct. Of course, I agree there are wealthy people online, I mean everyone uses the internet, but most likely than not such people don't even need to say it. It's the empty vessels that claim being wealthy and a few have been busted here in recent times. But my main point to him is no one who is successful would be trolling online, it's mutually exclusive. |

cutecommend: (1) What is the spiritual meaning of Nigeria? (2) Why was Nigeria not like a mistake when the whites were ruling? (3) Why do some feel Nigeria is a mistake when Nigerians started ruling? (4) Why were Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas not in deep war when the whites were ruling? (5) Why was there war 7 years after independence? (6) Don't you think Nigerians should study the progress of Igbos after they lost millions to death in civil war and lost a lot during the civil war? (7) Where they religious crisis when the whites were ruling? ( Don't you think Nigeria's problem is a black man's problem? (9) Don't you think Nigeria would have been like Europe if independence was gotten in 1995. (10) Do you regret being a Nigerian? Simple. Because Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. Nigerians are the one demanding and collecting bribes, selling their votes, selling expired products, practicing tribalism, doing yahoo yahoo and justifying it as a result of'slave trade', running a corrupt judiciary, no fear of God. Until we acknowledge the role we play as people in this mess, we can't move forward. |

Interesting media chat, wish it was longer. Sanwooulu might not be very articulate when talking, but he tried in responding to most of the questions reasonably well. Still hard for any one to measure up to Fashola's standards though - he was in a class of his own as a governor. |

CaptainJune: There was a prophecy given by one I consider a true man of God. In 2023, he said what God showed him would happen under Tinubu administration. I don't need to say everything (it is a nightmare for those who don't know God) but one thing he said that is clearly coming to pass is that the naira will fall to ₦2000/$. The hardship will be unbearably grievous under Tinubu. He said there would be serious hunger in the land that people would resort to cannibalism to survive. Hmm. He said that this would not affect God's children but, my brother, when he gave this prophecy, the naira to the dollar rate was about ₦900/$. Today, there is serious hunger in the land as he said and naira to the dollar rate has hit ₦1,825 to a dollar only ₦175 shy of ₦2000. He was very right, I don't at all doubt what he said. I personally had a dream few weeks before the election and I saw Tinubu and there were ashes everywhere on the floor around him which clearly isn't a good sign. I make it a point to pray for him and others in authority, but I also have no doubt there is divine judgement going on here. There is a need for national repentance and a change in our ways before we can ever get good leaders. Until then, Nigerians are in for a very tough ride under Tinubu. Truly and indeed, righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach. |

CaptainJune: Where are the lying pastors and church leaders who said Tinubu is God's chosen candidate for the nation? They have all gone silent in shame. Shame. Well, he could be God's chosen candidate to punish the nation, cos how else do you explain all these terrible disasters left right and center? The level of corruption and injustice in Nigeria has been so high, it actually may be judgment time. The nation needs to start with repentance. |
Business › Re: Naira Hits N1,825 To Dollar Despite EFCC Gun Rescue Attempt by yewit37486: 6:48pm On Feb 20, 2024 |
t2luv1: Did they even understand the ramifications of currency floating? I don't think they did. Nigeria uses Price Waterhouse for NNPC accounting. Are you telling me that there are no qualified accounting companies in that country that could do that work? Unfortunately, most of the good quality hands have japa'ed. There's been a noticeable drop in service levels and quality employees in recent years. So the PWC and KPMG of then are a far cry to the present. |
