RomanceRe: Guys, What Happened To Treasure? (wooing) by yjay(f): 11:51am On Sep 03, 2009
Ujujoan:
Of course some sensible guys still do that, but most dont!! According to NLders, there's no need for all that because of the following reasons:

Economic Meltdown!!

Girls are no more worth it!!

Why bother when you can just smile at them and they'll jump right at you!!

Why spend a dime on a girl that prolly will still say 'no' to you!! and so on and so forth . . .

The conclusion is that most guys will prefer to have sex with a girl first before they even ask her out . . . .  At least even if she say no, dey don chop already!  cheesy  cheesy
It just doesnt make any sense!!!
- if all it takes is for a guy to smile at a woman, wont the world be a "perfect" place for men! but we all know that isnt the way it is dont we?
- why spend on a girl who ll probably say no, how do they know she ll say no? no one is asking anyone to break the bank to get to know the girl better by taking her out
- For the last part, that says it all! doesnt it! if sex is all the guy wants, guess it now comes down to who's smarterhuh?

Guys, what happened to treasure?

What happened to those days that guys pay bills, shower a girl with gifts, take her to exotic places, just to get her to say 'yes'!!

What happened to spoiling her to get her on you side?

Please, someone tell me what has gone wrong?

@uju, i think some guys still do that or dont they? i mean they see a girl they like & want to get to know her better, take her on dates to the movies or a nice restaurant that kinda thing rite? they still do!

@poster well im not so certain abt ur theory but i know pple date for different reasons regardless of their tribe, i ve had friends say that ibo guys are better lovers & know how to care for a woman than the yoruba brothers, but at the end of the day they still take the crap from the yoruba guys than marry the ibo brothers,

dat i know but like i said i'll find a guy even if it meant bribing him to play along cos dat thing wey dey sweet man dey sweet woman too
i guess!!!!!

@poster, i ve seen where girls flirt openly even when its glaring to them that the person they are flirting with is with someone! they just dont care!!!!!! guess its left for the guy to handle it appropriately! but if he flirts back then it just goes to show how he truly feels for the person hes with,a guy that genuinely cares abt his woman wont!

im yet to see a woman who would flirt with my man in my presence, firstly the woman has to be more good lookn than me for me to be worried which im yet to see. and if my man flirts in my presence, i ll look for a cool guy to flirt with and men its gonna be hot
guys dont necessarily flirt with good looking girls! she might be not so good looking on the face but ve a 2 die for body & very sexy!!!

HealthRe: Does It Really Mean That There Is No Cure For Staphylococcus? by yjay(f): 9:09am On Aug 28, 2009
@shoms2002
my candid advice to u is to see a "MEDICAL DOCTOR" & i stress that because all those herbal doctors or whatever they call themselves dont know sh**t & like Muzbo said just ignore all the pple who are saying give me a call or send me an email, u ll be more confused than u were! someone very close to me suffered this staph or whatever, from wat ive heard its a viral infection but all these herbal doctors will just assume its an STD that cld led to HIV which is a lot of BULL! I will tell u, i followed her to a lot of them eg doctor ogaga, kingsnature therapy, yemkem, oko oloyun & they dont come CHEAP! but they just give herbal drugs & injections that dont do shit! she went to the hospital, did some tests and there really wasnt anything wrong with her, a doctor at the general hospital said it has to do with nerves & asked her to buy Bcomplex & overall she s more careful abt her personal hygiene & stuff, lots of fruits & supplements! she still experiences the symptoms once a while but shes doing much better! so PLEASE STICK TO THE MEDICAL DOCTORS!!!!!! & not those IGNORAMUS(herbal practioners) WHO PARADE THEMSELVES AS DOCTORS!!!!

TravelRe: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by yjay(f): 9:16pm On Aug 23, 2009
VOR:
Vjay,

Depending on how soon you wish to come to the UK I'd re-apply.
Re-submit the statements [all of them] again with an explanatory
letter from your b/f explaining the source of the funds.

If however you are in no hurry, then by all means appeal.
thank u very much Vor! as im in no hurry i ve decided to appeal! many thanks again 4 ur response! ll keep u in the loop!
TravelRe: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by yjay(f): 5:06pm On Aug 21, 2009
VOR:
Vjay,

A letter of complaint would get you nowhere. On the basis of the facts you have narrated
the ECO would be fully justified in refusing your application.

When you submitted your b/f statement did you also submit the other two statements and explain
the source of the funds in the first statement?
Furthermore, unless your aplication for a visit visa was for a family visit you have no right of appeal
against the refusal.

In summary, I would suggest that if you are still minded to visit the UK you re-apply and address all points
raised by the ECO. Was this the only reason for refusal? Normally ECOs give at least 2/3 in order to strengthen
the refusal.

Finally, even if there was only one reason for refusal make sure you comply with all other requirements of a genuine visitor. These include, but are not limited to; sufficient funds, adequate accommodation, proof of significant ties to Nigeria, eg job confirmation, evidence of studies etc.

Good luck.
@VOR thanks for replying Vor !no, i did not attach the other statements explaining the funds! also it is a family visit and i included all other documents like my letter of leave from my boss, my personal savings account, letter of employment, payslips, id card & yes thats the only reason they gave they said the account was probably inflated for this purpose & for this reason they were not satisfied with the financial capabilities of my boyfriend hence the refusal! they also did say there was no explanation stating where the money came from! i was however given the rite to appeal! wat do u think?
TravelRe: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by yjay(f): 3:14pm On Aug 21, 2009
@VOR - can u tell me wat u make of mine? thanks

[b]hello, i recently applied for a british visa to go on holiday & was refused. my boyfriend was planning to buy my ticket and this he stated in his letter to them.my refusal was based on the fact that he put lump sum in his account in a space of two days and there was no explanation for it so they said his account was artificially inflated. he works with bank phb as a branch head. i told him i would rather use his salary account as i presumed this would help so he gave me the bank statements for his salary account but withdrew N400,000 from his union bank account & also N600,000 from his bank phb savings account which explains the N1,000,000 that the embassy talked abt, so my question! is it justified that i was refused based on that since he owns both accounts that they money was transfered from and statements from these 2 accounts can prove it & also can i appeal though i heard it takes a longer process but i dont mind since i would go to dubai instead & dont mind waiting & cld travel next yr, a friend also adviced that i send the embassy a mail to state my complaints abt the refusal and they would respond & ask me to make a copy of the mail i sent and ask me to reapply, wat are my best optionshuh many thanks!

~Ta. for sharing your article on Antioxidants . . wink

~ I strongly agree about sunscreens. . . The number of folks that are ignorant about using suncreen is staggering. . . one lady actually asked me if "Black People" are suppose to use sunscreen!  grin

~Having read up on  Antioxidants. . i realise they are somehow incoperated into my meals. . Fruits & Veg, Potato, Garlic,Whole Grain,Spinach. . . I didnt however know they cud slow the effect of ageing! That was a pleasant surprise!

~I hear a lot of good reviews on Olay Regenerist Serum. . . have you tried it?

olay.co.uk/product-range/regenerist/index.php
not surprised abt wat she asked u at all! even my cousin that is supposed to be "exposed" said the same thing! "black pple dont need sunscreen" wat she said.

abt the regenerist serum!!! read a lot of reviews as well o! been trying to get it! been difficult getting it here in nigeria! i even asked my friend in the uk abt it and she was like "wo ma bother ko kin shise" hope u can read that? she was like dont bother it doesnt work & i was like but bola a lot of pple are really talking abt it! guess its the same nigerian mentality that has refused to go away, when we try out something we expect fast action, lol not moved though by her own convictions o! its just been difficult getting it here in naija! i actually ve a few other products i wld like to try! do u know anything abt ROC productshuh? heard good things abt those as well!
