AyoB:

can some1 pls help me? i read about hyperpigmentation here but didnt read abt d opposite. was using Olay quench then it got scarce and since i was scared to buy a fake, changed my cream to sometin my cosmetic store assistant recommended. its a milk. until recently, i started having light patches or spots on my upper arm, back and neck. i dunno wat to do. stopped using the lotion, went to get palmers olive oil and that gave me a breakout of small rash-like pimples on my face. now, i stopped using the palmers for my face but the light spots are my major concern. is there anytin anyone can recommend pls? tnx pple

sweetie maybe the cream contains hydroquinone or perhaps a brightening agent that is a bit harsh for ur skin, i use olay quench as well, u can get olay quench in any healthplus or medplus pharmacy and its not fake ok

@nanidee, theres absolutely no way u ll get obagi products in lagos and im almost certain of it,even some drugstore brands like roc, some products by olay cant be found in Nigeria.
obagi products are not products u ll find just anywhere even in the US cos most of their products are prescription-strength formulations, the systems are only available through physicians, primarily dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas and other skin care and medical specialists.

on a second thought maybe some exclusive spas here in Naija, forget stores thats for sure!!!!!

1711:

Am fair bt my elbows re dark,no matter how much cream I apply there,it just won't change. My skin color is even, any idea of wat I can use, available in naija.tnks

hey 1711, im not sure there s much u can do, going to a spa might help, u can ask for maybe chemical peels or microdermabrasion treatments but they dont come cheap & im sure u ll need more than one session, get a good scrub & exfoliate constantly & moisturise immediately to keep it supple & soft, scrubs ll help on the long term, they ll definitely look better but theres isnt a guarantee that it ll be as light as the rest of your body, u can also try at home microdermabrasion kit, ve heard good stuff abt mary kay microdermabrasion and u can get it easily in naija, but if u can send someone abroad u can ask the person to get u lancome resurface c microdermabrasion, comes highly recommended & contains vit c to lighten dark areas,

Mad_Max:

@madlady: Is it a nail hardner? Sounds fabulous. It's either I have long, pretty nails and useless hands or short, stubby nails but functioning claws. @yjay: The best moisturiser you've used? I've heard of the brand but can't place it.

yeah i think so sha cos its a great moisturizer, aveeno has actually been around for ages & its actually one of the most popular drugstore brands around, they ve serums, cleansers etc
