To think I was less concerned about naira against dollar devaluation because I believed I will recover back from my Zenith and UBA FX valuation gains via improved EPS/dividends. Now na to siddon dey look until whenever coast becomes clear and the whole FX policy in bank sector is understandable.

That's why I'm most times not a fan of banking stocks.....
Was discussing with someone and i said, policies can make or Marr the sector at any given time........if above was the case.

As it is now, anyone in the market should just be calm and control emotions till market will correct finish and stabilize....
Let's be awaiting dividends to take hold body first ....I've never been a fan of selling at loss...

Very easy for @CP to be calculating picking at certain price junction but it doesn't work that way all the time.

My 50 cent advice as usual.

I think some people are just bent on dragging the market down by all means possible...
We can see how the bull had defied all their theories and charts for the past months, so they needed to come up with something to achieve their panic mission.

* One of the consolations is that the Locals still control majority stakes in this market and companies will still declare dividends either they like it or not.
* Bull or bear, investors and traders alike will still be trading and making profits in this market........In fact, some of the stocks are still undervalued if we consider the good results some of them are releasing now.
* Those in market just needed to control emotions during this period. It will also pass.

Naira depreciated against $$, which has been the recent occurrence in recent times......
Those saying it was devalued officially should provide proof...

Today's red is not the normal bear, but dumping due to unfavourable news. Bear doesn't move in sharp contrast and cut across all sectors like this ....in my newbie's opinion (except on rare cases like that of COVID).
Hopefully, the trend will stabilize soonest before the week runs out.

All these people running, if another news comes up tomorrow in favour of market, they start running back in.....

Even the Dollars they're rushing to go and buy, nothing is certain or lasts as much as the country is concerned......seems dey no get direction yet.

I think Equity, mutual funds and bonds are still places to be.........

omo TRanscorp dey show me pepper likewise Jaiz bank, but I believe Transcorp is a very good hold for the long term because of its power generating section, transcorp generates more power than Geregu and look at Geregu's price per share, I'm open to discussion on this topic tho

You need to ask yourself why you bought in the first place.......
TRANSCORP is good but I think what may be causing the issue with it for now is their dividend history, since this is earning season......
TRANSCORP is not so generous with dividends but special news has always been it's strength.

I sense some people must have triggered this red in the market due to their over analysis and analysis-paralysis, most of the results that have come out so far are good, so I don't know why this bear came today....

If we talk about the ASI, this has been mostly driven up by the activities in the SWOOTs and Big Cap stocks, they have stronger influence on the ASI.

We'll see how the coming days be like sha.
Funny enough, some of the SWOOT members haven't shed any weight officially!

Oando is a gamble. If they delist, shareholders who bought above 7 will pay scholl fees.
If they dont delist, and if Wale does not short change investors, and if oil prices remain stable, then investors will make it really big.
