FCMB price looks good at N4.82 EPS but their dividend pay is poor. Last year was 25k. Should pay at least N1 if not N1.50 based on current EPS but i doubt it. Is FCMB a good buy at current price? I actually offloaded not long ago but thinking of re entering
Watch price movement first, and buy at bargain price if you intend to re-enter.
FCMB can't pay N1 from the look of things, not so generous with dividend payment except they changed this time. What you'll likely get is price appreciation if entry is timed right.

Also watch Transcorp and pick some at bargain price. It's getting some volumes and unusual attention. lipsrsealed

BUAFOODS @295.90 intra-day.....
Officially @295.90! Up with +10.90!

OANDO: Those guys are at work.......
Btw 12.85 to 14.45, the bids there are so thin, now they had to put fake offers at day's high which is 14.50......Una weldone ooo bargain hunters.... grin lipsrsealed
Maybe na Wale's guys too we don't know, dem get some hidden plans ...why not clear the bids on ground? lipsrsealed

* Even if Oando will fall in price, it's going to be possibly due to general market situation and not the court case again. I rest my case*

You dey rest your case now if Oando goes south na usual ghost mode you go enter.

Nah, you dey yearn with plenty confidence when him happen you go begging they change mouth. grin grin grin wink
I dey rest case because there's no point posting upandan about it.
You see me change mouth since this whole OANDO issue began?
That I rest my case or quiet when it goes south doesn't mean I've changed my stand o.
It's not over until it's completely over... grin

People like Wale Tinubu makes Alhaji look like An Angel. Aliko, making his shareholders rich since 1807 ... Lol
Alhaji Aliko knows how to create wealth for his shareholders. Though it may take very long time, but he usually makes it happen.
Na Oga he be! smiley

Oando wont do 10 again
Again, we can never say never...
I mentioned that it can't go below 10 again based on recent observation of trend over time and not based on TA/FA.
If it goes below, it's another opportunity presenting itself. Mr. Market has the final say.
I rest my case on OANDO for now. smiley

There is need I book him for discussion on this oando issue.

Well if oando declares hefty profit during the pendency of the court case it would definitely shoot up the price astronomically... have you considered this?
Yes, because the last released improved report assisted in moving the share price above 7.....up to the 10naira region.

All these ones we are saying self, if we hear say Ote$$ entered OANDO, people go throway court case for one side first.... grin

Make we just know say wetin I dey talk na "if" ooo, I never reach Wale's mind to know what his plan was/is......this is Caveat... cheesy

Do you think these results you are waiting for are not calamity waiting to befall on shareholders?

What makes you think oando will release a good result in the midst of court case?
The result will be much better compared to the previous ones.........if we consider some factors ooo.... including the last result released.

* One of it is the NNPCL's payment of N144bn or so, for the retail outlets.
Not saying they'll pay investors from this but, it can be used to offset some debts.....I think it's a plus for O&O.

I'm not their spokesperson anyway......just following on news and updates.

It lost a whooping 1.20kobo today. Are you saying it's going back to 7.07?
This is the language I understand following your write up.
Opposite!
I don't personally see OANDO going back to below 10 again.
The activities today was normal, a reaction from disappointed minority investors whose high hopes were dashed due to the adjournment again.

I stand to be corrected anyway.....as we hand over the situation to Mr. Market to take care of .....in its own way.

..but we must know that those guys have plans, what was in their mind we don't know.

Looking at today's price, salt is seriously lagging behind. Am begining to think there's something we do not know
This market is the more you look, the less you see. grin

It could be the activities of some investors, brokers, MM or insiders to depress the share price, so they can pick cheaper for their pot belly clients.
Many things do happen behind curtains.

* As it is, based on today's closing price, Salt is cheaper to pick. A difference of around 14naira btw the two now....
Also, from past reports, NASCON's report is more healthier than that of SUGAR......
We'd expected that NASCON's report will cover for SUGAR self.....
* The ratio has been communicated already, except there's now going to be an amendment or whatever.
We'll see how it all pans out anyway.

My only fear is that the case will linger for longer time. Except their is a settlement out of court, be sure that the case won't be concluded this year.
Honestly, this was what I'd expected.....either the Court strike out the case or the parties agree to settle out of court.
We may never know what could still happen sha.

From the stock body language, there seems to be more than the court case we are seeing.

It pays to watch / listen / observe / learn when people in the know are putting out some critical information. Attacking what you are not prevailed to is not wise.
Lol. In this market, I've learnt never to say "never"... smiley

When Oga Rabbi predicted ASI to reach +100k, and that some stocks will appreciate high in price....
One of our ogas here said, how can it be? That it can never happen even in 30yrs, but in less than 2years it happened!!

If anyone had said in a year's time, TRANSCORP will sell for N15, I'm sure many will say 'never' .....and come up with different theories of how it couldn't be so......this is same TRANSCORP that touched 19 despite the Tony/OS analysis paralysis here.

While not also in agreement with DANGFOODS reaching N350 in Q1 2024, I'll still not say it can never happen......but could just be a gradual movt overtime or year(s) sha. grin

The way this OandO issue dey go, we fit use the whole 2024 for am without any clear coast ahead.
Wetin concern Wale when steady payment package dey enter steady for am.
This may be a positive twist to the whole Court saga....
* What was the prayer/request(s) of these ones joining the petition? We needed to know
If these additional shareholders are genuine ones and not acting the script, then OANDO may be made to sit on hot seat....
7.07 exit of 2021 no longer feasible
Whatever the case is, we ought to have clearer info before the next Court date.
*My opinion*

DANGFOODS
- We'd expected that Alhaji will use this for the Forbes list but he used DANGCEM instead...
- Now that SUGAR/SALT didn't submit UNAUDITED Report to NGX by 31st January......
- We may be looking at the 60 days window through which AUDITED should be submitted.......failure of which may attract sanction/fine.
- We'll be looking forward to end of February again for the reports or merger update, whatever be the case.
- Fingers crossed

How do i get into stock exchange as a beginner?
I am a student and I want to get into the market
A good step in the right direction.
The earlier you're on this path, the better.

* Contact a responsive digital broker to open a trading account.
* Concentrate on one or two dividend paying and fundamentally sound stocks max, and start buying and increasing the quantities as spare funds is dropping in your hands...by transferring it to your investment account to increase your holdings.
** From there, you start learning about investments and how it works, the different types we have and how you can explore them as you leave school and start working.

Also, click this link and let Oga BullbearMrk's 1st post on the page be a source of encouragement to you.
Good luck!

All these people will end up losing money and dashing money to the market if they keep jumping upandan and panicking unnecessarily like this!!

Guess people needs to learn the basics of how this market works and acquire basic skills of investing before jumping into it at least........or even if they jump into it, should make frantic efforts to learn how it works and equip themselves with investing knowledge......and not continue to liken it to crypto or MMM.
This has been said times without number here...and newbies are been advised to buy more of fundamentally sound stocks!! Since they don't know their ways around the market.

On what the person can do? He/She has two options:

1. To do NOTHING!
Or
2. To watch out for likely bottom and average down his position. This way, he gets to benefit from the next rally.......or sell without loss as the case may be.
