Abi market stabilizes?
Narrative has changed ooo.
Loco is onboard
Lol.
What some people here don't know is that you're into TA as well.
They thought everything about Loco is JiJo and marketing.......even though this carries higher % 😁

Veritas can't be doing 2.21 and Royalex below.
Not possible.
Time for Royalex to trace her level again.
VERITASKAP was seriously punished during the pullback period, won't be surprised if it happens to be the first to go on full bid self. smiley

Wow..
Did you consider returning it? 😁😁😁
Cos they should give just one of either you or the guy who bought from you.
Registrar's hardly make such mistakes....
I don't see it as mistake......BUT could be some errors in qualification Date, which could result in him getting qualified.

I once qualified for NEM's dividend, sold it off thinking I qualified but eventually didn't get paid.
When I did some checks, I realized there were changes made to the qualification Date.

Though rare, but it do happen sometimes.

Some normalcy observed in market this early hours...

@Locotrader
Thanks for that submission.
I just checked the number of stocks lost and gained.
You know, my logging in now is to make my usual motivational post..... smiley
That, for those already in the market before this red, let's be patient so as not to sell at loss or huge loss......
Capital preservation should be the priority now..
Mr. Market will always do what Mr. Market will do...
Market goes up and down and the red cannot continue unabaited, it will stabilize at some points, then reverse back up...
From today's trading, though selling pressure still persists but some resistance were also sighted alongside intraday....
* According to my Oga, the market is generally still undervalued....
* Let's hang in there, we shall all smile again and resume our bullish discussions... smiley

Correction na normal thing for market
Na so.
Correction because market is awaiting some more good news.....
I even think say gbas gbos for don start here because na their way.....😀
Calling people out unnecessarily.
Even Agba that was mentioning bear has been faulted many times in recent times.
Market has a mind of its own .
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 8:21pm On Aug 20, 2025
* The red in market may have been triggered by banks.....thus sending panic throughout the market...
* The fear that some consistent ones might not pay interim dividend; May pay below expectations OR, pay small compared to last year's own due to the dilution.
* I'm of the opinion that u.g.a.z may want to do all it takes to pay reasonable interim dividend because they have a target to be met.
* GT already made mention of paying interim dividend, I think UBA or Access too.
* Announcement of this may change the market outlook......
* Are we in bear market yet? Not looking likely.

** This is purely my amateur perspective based on observations of what's going on in market......
* Trends are changing and this idea of September school fees is becoming obsolete....just like the idea of "Sell in May, come back in November" has faded away.
I stand to be corrected.....we continue to observe the trend.

**Pls do not take as any form of advice, just thinking out loud.

I have a very important question about "Right Issues", There is a particular company that is having her right issues at the moment,im trying to buy above my allocated due shares, but at the same time im scared of buying beyound my allocated due shares because seems have heard that it can be unsuccessful and getting my funds back might take so long, pls anybody with past expeirnece can reply @ymcy56 @emmanuelewumi ur opinion also needed
I don't have such experience but I think it's simple.....
Buy your allocated shares alone if you have some reservations about buying additional qty.
Monitor market price movement and buy the remaining on the secondary floor.

ElectronicMoney:
The marketer eventually told me that the bought the shares. I can't remember the exact quantity because it's being such a long time but I know it was definitely more than 1,700 units.

I eventually did not follow up to get a copy of my CSCS statement for it because the shares were doing so poorly and I was having some regret for even making the investment
Contact WEMA bank's Registrar, Greenwich..
Explain to them and request that they check the transaction history for you.
If possible, make a phone call.
Search for GTL Registrar's phone or email number online.
It's possible someone sold the qty along the line and pocketed the money.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 5:29pm On Aug 19, 2025
@Electronicmoney

When the shares were purchased, did you confirm it was 20k units then?
If you didn't, then it's possible they got only 1700 for you and never bothered to use up your whole deposit to complete the purchase.

As it is, you can only claim the shares purchased back while, unfortunately, the remaining fund is lost.

More reason some don't always want to keep cash/funds in trading accounts for longer periods but will use it to buy shares..... especially if you're not the monitoring type.

Funds with brokers are safer this way because you can retrieve your shares back but can't retrieve cash back.

Good afternoon house.
I made an enquiry regarding my eligibility for CHAMS RI, which I later got to know I am eligible but the only issue I have now is how to apply.
I got a form from them which I was to fill but it's not going through.

Below is the screenshot of the form.
The form is in PDF form.
You'll have to print, fill and submit back I think.

What is your recommendation for those of us that are holding the bag for insurance stock, cut the loss buy selling and possibly buy back later or continue to suffer loss and hope for a rebound?
If your purpose in NGX is not for MMM or CBEX, then just be patient.
NGX is not for get rich quick biz and if you continue to listen to every comment, especially negative comments here, then you won't invest.
If na crypto you want, just know you can't find it in NGX.

This for the people who want to invest in insurance sector.
Use nem insurance as bench mark.I used nem because it was a stock I had plenty afolabi units and later sold at #2 plus. I regret it.
Which of the insurance stock do u feel can repeat what nem has done from the 2 plus to 30 plus based on fundamentals. If u find such insurance stock. My advise is accumulate now.
You talk well here.....
For me, all the listed insurance will perform well, agreed some might do well than others...

There'll be mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, RI, private placements, bonus issues, strategic investors, etc.
Capital inflow is imminent.

For example,GUINEAINS insurance already mentioned this as part of their AGM agenda

ELLAHLAKES
Bargain hunters should keep eye on the price movement.....
We all know they've not started generating much revenue....
Buying into Ellah is buying into the company's future....
Don't forget they're raising capital and either you buy or not, badmouth or not, they'll get their funds...
No be your kobo kobo dem needed for N250bn, strategic investors and FPIs are there....😁
Those bids on queue knows what they're after.
