On a second thought, looking at the bonus distribution, the Bonus Issue is 1:2 by the time the phase distribution is complete.....One new share for 2 shares held.

This was in line with the previous calculations we made here, before the announcement.

Tranche 1
Lagbaja has 300,000 units by QD 1(Feb 14). SP =₦75. Ratio is 1:12.
Lagbaja gets 25,000units (equivalent of ₦1,875,000). That's about ₦3 per share

Tranche 2
Lagbaja now has 325,000 units by QD 2(June 30). SP =₦85. Ratio is 1:15.
Lagbaja gets 21,666units (equivalent of ₦1,841,610). That's about ₦4 per share

Lagbaja now has 346,666units by QD 3 + ₦7 'DIV' in 2025...

Makes sense.

Consequent ones might be lower than that...
It may be 1 new for 10 held.

I think we should make do with what is happening first and stop cracking brain about things to come.

I guess you should understand more about this tranche distribution of a thing.....
It's in the interest of the share price and shareholders.....
Some shareholders complained about flooding the secondary market with shares if all is distributed at once, this must have been factored into the distribution, hence the spreading into tranches.
We ought to appreciate this I Blvd.

If you've been following the history of OANDO, I think this should be a welcomed development to anyone.
It is a right step in the right direction.

70/3 +70 = N93/100......should give us the new price range.....

The bonus issue is not a newly created one....
It's still from the 12.4bn....
I Blvd the management must have put the effect the bonus will have on the entire shares into consideration.
Good News that may eventually take people's negative attention away from the bonus may be released as well.

For now, we don't even know the number of shares that will be distributed self.
Whatever the ratio allotted, our focus should be on the future potentials of the company much more.

If the Board did not sit, I don't think they would have released the Q4 Unaudited in the first place.

Board Meeting outcome is supposed to have been out but maybe it's experiencing some delays due to the bonus issue.
It's still within normal timeframe since AUDITED account is yet to be released.
No rule was violated as yet.

Anyone investing in OANDO should do so because of the enormous future potentials and not primarily because of share distribution........my amateur advice I think.

They might have opted to release the AUDITED result instead.
This will be done on or before two months after Financial Year end..... i.e. on/before end of February
