It is exactly the same as dividing the share price by five, considering four new shares plus one old share.

I didn't remember to deduct Dividend, reason I arrived at 10.30 initially, should be lower actually.
The calculation was done here sometimes ago by Osita and one other Oga, using different formula.

* Let me say, we all do fall victim of this type of moves at one time or the other...
* Even the bosses sometimes do buy high when they sights value in a stock but which may fall further from their entry prices, the difference there is that they buy because they've seen hidden value in such stock.
You have not committed any crime but market forces acted otherwise in UCAP.
* Don't sell at loss!
Find some funds to average it down because it will be marked down today and it will open around N10.30, it will require lesser fund to buy more volumes to average it down.
Buy more, the cost price will fall drastically, then you can sell with little or no loss to enter another stock of your choice (that is, if you don't want to keep it for long term).
* The bonus and Dividend will then be your compensation and profit when paid and bonus added to your CSCS.
* Once you see people posting here that they've seen UCAP bonus, all you do is to contact your broker too to add it to your trading portfolio.

I however think the same OANDO should be better for long termers self.....because some long termers are currently sitting on more than +400% gains.......while some that bought high before are gradually recovering the losses..
My question is: Why should long termers run now that the stock is returning to profitability?
Has the debt not been there before now, even when the price was falling and no means of offsetting it?
What can we say about oil sector rallies that has seen the likes of Conoil around N150 from N17?
What evidence can we point at , that MM are actually manipulating the share price?

Mcy you no see that AFRIPRUD "now you see, now you don't" bonus confusion? I saw you exited about the bonus yesterday even hoping it will take the price to #15. This is really bad for those who entered 10% up yesterday.

Bonus or no bonus, AFRIPRUD will still do well......may not be now due to the bonus false info, but APR will still perform well.
The financials are good, Q2 was impressive.

- Though there was a mix up in the bonus announcement, NGX caused the confusion.....
- I can remember saying it wasn't included in the Board Meeting notice issued before the result was released but only interim dividend mentioned......
- When result was released, I checked thru it, didn't see where bonus was mentioned, but when NGX said it, I'd thought it was latest development because similar thing happened in VFD.

** AFRIPRUD is one stock that @currentprice had identified in the past from his bedsheet, I just know it's time will surely come......if not now, it will come sometimes along the line. 😊

See the case of UCAP in the attached, NGX puts "Nil" in proposed dividend whereas Corporate Action says otherwise.
The bonus issue of VFD was initially omitted before it was later confirmed and corporate Action indicates it.

So where's the mistake coming from this time around?
From NGX or from AFRIPRUD?
Think we'll get clearer picture by tomorrow or the next.
