This doesn't make any sense at all. The kidnap of over 200 chibok girls who haven't been rescued up till now,has been a major source of embarrassment to the govt and military. Even if they want to play politics with anything,abduction of women and children would defintely be a no go area for them,considering the fact that election holds in a few days time.

This goes to say the news as regards the adoptionof 400people might be Metaphorical having a denotative meaning rRather than a literal one.

It is not legal to install cameras where there is an "expectation of privacy". An hostel room would certainly fall into this category, but the surroundings might not and I am certain that the authorities at reedemer university should know this. And the student should not allow the installation of cameras in their rooms.

There is a small chance that the security guy overseeing the cctv videos might be a pervert and could install cameras illegally for his own personal pleasure.

However the chances of this happening are probably very small and not something I would worry about.

In conclusion, I see nothing wrong with the installation of camera around the hostel. But I see everything wrong with the installation of cameras in the hostel room as this constitutes breach of privacy.

Kalabari people are 100% Ijaw people, The founder of the Kalabari was a man known as Perebo kalabari. his father was MEIN OWEI. tHEY MIGRATED FROM THE YENEGOA area of the central Ijaw land and moved east wards.

Kalabari territory today is actually sharing boundary with NEMBE AT THE OLUASIRI END where SOKU AND ELEM SANGAMA share border with NEMBE VILLAGES AT THE Kula side Kalabari villages like Robert kiri share border with NEMBE settlements too. infact Nembe is closer to Kalabari then it is even close to Yenegoa.

The Kalabari dialect is almost Ibani, INFACT. I'd say the Kalabari dialect is Ibani if I like and thats because 50% of Ibani people are off Kalabari originated from Kalabari, those people are called the KOROAME OF Kalabari who during the wars of Okoloma ( bonny) and Kalabaris were moved to the Bonny side, and many groups in Kalabari too are of Bonny blood. these are mainly the Jumbo of Bakana. Fyneface, the entire Tombia, Abalama village and families in Ke and Kula.

Besides this. the Kalabari dialect is every thing the same with the Ibani dialect, The ibanis only lost theirs to Igbos for reasons known. Today the finima part of Bonny and the kala-ibiama part of Bonny have reserved the Ibani dialect and the AMAYANABO OF Bonny has declared Iabni to be used even in Bonny island, names like, BELEMA, SENIBO, BOMA, DIEPRIYE, OBELE, IBIYE, IBISO would be wrong to be called Kalabari names since they are purely Bonny names too. words like BO ( COME) SO ( GO) MINJI( WATER) TAMUNO ( GOD) could also not be said to be KALABARI since they are also Ibani words. Bro Ibani is purely KALABARI.

iF YOU UNDERSTAND KALABARI you'd see that THE BONNY town KALA-IBIAMA, means small fine town in KALABARI, that is exactly what it means in Bonny too, but the real name of the town is KELE-KELE IBI ARI AMA, WHICH MEANS A TOWN THAT IS GRADUALLY BECOMING FINE, and that is exactly what it means in Bonny too,

Bonny and Kalabari are purely the same people and are all Ijaws

Many Kalabarius and Bonnies today have light skin due to European mixture. The Bonny and Kalabari chiefs traded with Europeans and had a lot of Igbo slaves. During that time some Europeans had sexul contact with Kalabari and Bonny people that produced new breed of people. Then after the slave trade many Igbo people were also adopted in to Kalabari and Bonny families.

Don't forget one thing. A lot of Ijaw people & Kalabaris lived (and still live) along the coastal areas of Nigeria. These were the areas that first had contact with the Europeans, during the slave trade & during colonialism. One should expect that there were probably a large number of inter-racial relationships between the Caucasian colonial masters and some of the Ijaw women. Such early contact with the foreigners also probably explains why a lot of Ijaw & Kalabari people bear European names. That may explain why there are such unusual genetic features among some Ijaw families.

The Ben-Murray Bruce clan is a good example. Their great-grandfather was a Scotsman who came to Nigeria to trade & first settled in whatis now called Bayelsa state. Their great grandmum was a Kalabari woman. The man met her fell in love & married her and decided to make Nigeria his home, permanently.

Nothing will stop the election on Saturday. Irrespective of what happens on Wednesday all parties have a right of appeal to the court of appeal and then on to the Supreme Court. Should GMB be held to lose this case on Wednesday, the court of appeal will immediately grant an ex - parte stay of judgement pending the final resolution of the matter as the " balance of convenience" is in favour of such. Based on the times for filing and disposing of such suits it does not appear likely that such a suit would be heard before the eventual winner of the election is sworn in. As such this suit serves nothing more than nuisance value.

I am indeed very worried when Nigerians in the age of digital technology still display such level of ignorance and misguided militancy on basic facts. This is flagrant abuse of power. Where in the civilized world does this ever happen without consequences? Closing down a whole city for the visit of a politician? Oppressing and depriving the same people who elected him to serve them? It would have been a different matter if a public holiday was declared by the local authorities but to shut down an entire city? Who compensates the people for the loss in economic activities, petty traders who would lose in earnings etc? Who picks up the bill for the cost of all the security apparatus?

I have lost count of the number of people that are been fed from the PDP's Pot who leave the APC and gets into the pdp( Fani Femi Kayode, Aliru, Barcanista etc) that has described the APC as "friend and brother". They used it for all APC governors while they are still in their fold. Now they turn of the PDP governors. I won't be surprised if in the nearest future, Aliru refers to Abubakar Shekau as his 'friend and brother'.

Aliru is an executive idiot jumping from one seat of power to another looking for relevance, which he can never find. He has tried unsuccessfully to label APC as an evil party, all because he wasnt given the ticket to run as a governorship aspirant. Soon all this propaganda from Aliru will no longer attract audience, then he will resort to self appraisal. Making us feel he's so important to have had made a cross- carpet from one party to another.

Simply put, his vehicle is running out of fuel and it will soon break down. Aliru is close to being humiliated in the country come March 28th. He's so daft that he thinks PDP guys don't know that he can never be trusted. They will soon boot him out and trash him after being used for 2015 election.
