chukwudi44:I still believe power can change things, here the Lawmakers will look for a lope hole in the constitution and find him guilty of such and a as such get him impeached |
I see no reason as to getting gov. Fayose impeached. We all know from time indefinite that the election that brought him to the office of the Ekiti State Governor has been found to be an open fraudulent in relation to the Ekiti Gate disclosure. What next is to investigate the white cloud surrounding the black smoke of the Ekiti Gate and get it referred to the court of law to decide between Fayose and the APC candidate Fayemi whose party scored the higher votes next to Fayose's PDP fraudulently accomplished mandate. If found guilty with the crystal clear tape as the most convincing evidence, the APC takes the pedestal of the governorship of Ekiti while all his cohorts involved in the scenario gets their court judgement. If the Judiciary would prove to the Nigerians that the institution has started to be an entity the average Nigeria can depend upon for justice, Kayode Fayemi will be returned into the governor's office to complete his second tenure as Ekiti State Governor. With general. Buhari in charge from May 2015 the Nigeria Judiciary will start to find it difficult to continue compromising its inherited standardized tradition of handling down justice except we still have any of the judges that have decided to look for another job outside the judiciary where he can continue to manipulate the truth. |
creepsyme:Am sorry too. We friends now right? |
creepsyme:Let me ask was the devil also inspired by God ? ![]() |
creepsyme:I never felt bad. I just qouted a counter scripture to your claim. I really dont want to go down with you as regards to Psalm 14.1 you qouted. its not what you mean. its a different interpretation entirely, which will make me digress from this topic and as such derail the this thread. |
** The 2015 election ** Looking at the numbers on the social media alone, General Muhammed Buhari won this contest, ( an evident prove is on nairaland, and even top PDP officials attested to the fact that APC wins elections online only ). On several online platforms, Twitter, Nairaland, Facebook, Bloggers etc. The General followers out numbered that of Goodluck Jonathan. On Twitter, The General had 20k+ followers; Goodluck i doubt has a twitter account but he does have a facebook account, of if we must be honest twitter users are more matured to facebook users. Social media is like breakfast. it's realy an important meal you do really wish to have, but is it just a meal ? - No. ** The numbers game ** Despite numbers are important in election, i have to say that numbers don't tell the whole story, looking at the social media in totality, is pretty darn even. Sheer numbers can be misleading - for example, in real life, if someone hosts an event wit 3000 People there, you could say they were popular. Maybe, maybe not - maybe people went because of the gifts, or the dinner. You need to look at how long someone spent looking at the video, how often the tweets were re-tweeted - for the party example, if there were only 20 people there but they were very influential, or they really like the person. ** Do tweets mean votes? ** Problem with social media is that no-one knows, yet, whether it works to get people to the polls. Just because you tweet about something, or "like" it on Facebook, are you going to vote for the person who posted it? I Ymodulus am a practical example of one, i supported the general in all wholelity but truth is i never left my room to go out there to vote. ** The real online battleground ** The social media focus could be misleading. Social media gets a lot of attention because it is what you can see from the outside, but it is absolutely not the most important part of the online political campaign. Using the internet through a wide variety of means to get people to act in the real world, that's important. General Muhammad Buhari's campaign to getting funds online remained a very successful part of this strategy, alongside other strategies such as targeted online advertising and micro-targeting. Talking about the Facebook election or the Twitter president, i believe that's an utterly meaningless statement. ** The future ** However i believes that the social media as a tool of engaging with voters should not be overlooked. |
creepsyme:Matthew 5:22. "Anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." I'm surprised that you used that verse of the scripture to get at me while you forgot to mention that Jesus advised not to call anyone a fool as recorded in Book of Matthew 5:22 |
Taking a peak into medieval ( Dark Ages old time) Arabic History you will find out that the Arabs and Islamic empires were the most advanced in the world for a period. Interestingly, over centuries later the Muslims are now more of a tribe than a religious group. I see Islam as a transformised Arab empire into religion. Muhammad is said to have had revelations but once he had power he was not spreading Islam with a sword, he was conquering lands with a sword and building an empire was the primary goal. A warrior cult, based on Jewish, Christian and Meccan fables and customs. in which almost all her tenets are traceable to Christian and Jewish practices. This is what i feel islam is The concept behind religion in its enirety is Corrupt. It is predicated/enshrined on on the idea that bad person you are born and as such you feel guilty about it until you die at which point, you will be forgiven by some imaginary omnipotent entity. Good and evil, sins and sinners are all used by the powerful to control the ignorant. Until reason and rationality replace belief, matters will never change. It is not in the interests of the ""religious leaders""?? to promote rational thought as it would remove their reason for existence. Dissent is the enemy of religion |

Whynotthetruth:Thats the problem you qoute a PRO GEJ paper to support your claim. Vanguard to be is not free of what they call sensational Journalism. Same vanguard lied about General Muhammad Buhari saying he will make N1 equal to $1, even when their article disagrees. I Just clearly stated in my previous post that 2011 election was not free. The most free election we have seen to date is the last election. I just wish 2019 election we can all move towards electronic voting |
Yes expectations from nigerians and the populace are high, and without doubt the general will achieve at least 90% of these expectations |
