PoliticsRe: Aerial View Of Lekki Via Drone Camera by Ymodulus: 8:59pm On Mar 01, 2015
The rise of drone warfare makes people very uneasy for different reasons—some very good and some not-so-good. Among the latter:  Despite their reputation as indiscriminate killing machines, and even using the most damning numbers, drones kill civilians at much lower rates than other forms of warfare, particularly other forms of aerial bombing. (And these numbers seem now to be getting lower from year to year.) I don’t mean to be glib about this or suggest that civilian deaths from drone strikes are perfectly acceptable, but those who criticize drones for killing too many civilians really have a problem with war itself rather than the particular weapon used.

In all, I personally see nothing wrong with drones, as they have large positive merits if not armed. Examples can be seen with Amazon, Alibaba of China, India shopping mall drone delivery test. Also they can be use for clandestine operations and the fun of playing with a drone.

Nice video though I expected to see the whole lekki on a wide view grin grin

yang:
Drone is very sensitive and should be heavily regulated. It is illegal to fly a drone over paris and it is not even legal to launch a drone strike on America soil. Nigeria needs to wake up and start regulating drones. These things are not ordinary toys, they can do real harm if armed.

Gionee records millions and millions of sale not just in its brand but via OEM service, remittance, services offered to other companies. I think these are reasons Hionee not taking its users serious. After I bought the Gionee Elite 3 and sold it I promise never to get a gionee device till issues are addressed

Onlinebizexpert:
please for those already in this predicament and those who are trying to take the risk should listen tome

a medic reporting.......

first and foremost OP do not listen to people that are telling you to have faith in GOD because even GOD being so powerful instructed us as follows " Thou shall not TEMPT the LORD your GOD"" he is aware that one over zealous christian one day would jump from high tension cable and expect ANGELS to come and carry him to safety

there is a proverbial saying that that "HEAVEN helps those who help themselves" dont bother trying to risk it it is not worth it

even when the disciples were with JESUS, they still ate food why did'nt they have FAITH and GO HUNGRY.........it is called being LOGICAL

before anybody attacks me I AM A BIBLE BELIEVING CHRISTIAN

now to your question OP

from scientific calculations if two AS couple have intercourse they would have children with the following genotype
AA AS AS SS

though in some cases i have seen all the children were either AA or AS in some worst case scenario the children were all SS

the AA an AS children are not the problem , its the SS child whoma I PERSONALLY refer to as a VISA to HOSPITAL, POVERTY and MARRIAGE BREAK DOWN

VISA to HOSPITAL the SS child has set a record of always falling ill to the slightest provocation and most of these children do not live long, with this child the best thing is to relocate to a house near a hospital, THIS IS ONE REASON WHY AS AS marriage is seriously preached against

VISA TO POVERTY many people do not know that it takes about an average of 25,000 naira per week to manage an SS child, this amounts to about a 100,000 naira per month, imagine such an expense for a couple that has a salary of like 150,000 naira. just calculate 100,000 naira per month for like 10 years of marriage.. brethren that is poverty knocking at your door, this is another reason to avoid such marriages

VISA TO MARRIAGE BREAKDOWN: most marriages with SS child are always in turmoil, the LOVE is strained, everybody becomes angry at any provocation, each parent feels that it is the other persons fault that they are in this predicament, some even start cheating or considering SUICIDE.......this is why I personally advise people to enter a marriage that they might never enjoy

WHAT CAN I DO IN SUCH A MARRIAGE

adopt

ivf

stem cell transplant

prayer

ADOPT simply decide with your wife that your marriage is not for procreation rather it would be for companionship, the adopt a child/children and treat them the way you would have treated your own actual offspring... its not easy but its worth it

IVF in vitro fertilization, here your wife is fertilized with the sperm of a donor, the advantage of this is that you get to choose the characteristics of the donor that you wish to see in you child like tall, handsome, STRONG FACE grin etc.....

STEM CELL TRANSPLANT here your own child would undergo a process which can lead to genotype change...

NOTE: it is an expensive process and to be sincere i cannot vouch for nigeria as the best place to do this

PRAYER I am not telling you to pray to GOD to change your child's genotype, rather pray for things like GRACE,LOVE MONEY etc that will help you manage your family

WARNING for those about to enter such a marriage

1. na suffering get you
2. that LOVE that is making you not to be logical will fizzle out with years of suffering and then it will be too late to do anything

ANY PASTOR THAT IS ADVISING YOU TO ENTER SUCH A MARRIAGE IS SIMPLY TRYING TO USE YOU TO ENRICH HIS MINISTRY THROUGH YOUR TITHES AND PRAYER FACILITATING OFFERING

PERSONALLY, my GF is AS same as me, but we both know that it is not leading to the altar, I LOVE her very well and that is why I am not going to wed her into suffering and frustration

this should be the same for those yet to marry

I HOPE MY LITTLE EPISTLE WOULD HELP A FRIEND HERE......LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR TESTIMONY
Can I get your phone no?

which of the three is the best and most suitable for nigerian road and what is the costs of each?
Well it depends on location , availability of spare parts , maintenance .

In the area I stay, Baja is the most common, there are available spare parts .

Some people prefer TVS, they say it saves fuel and some say its spare part can be easily seen. In all different stories for different folk. However, I like BAJAJ as to me its stronger and parts available where I am.

Mine is Bajaj

I believe if you check around you can see dealers who sell them. Bajaj is around 400K, TVS is around 415 while piaju is around 390k.

Stay away from Piajuu if you don't want stories that touch.

She kept telling us the economy is doing fine even when we saw with our own eyes it wasn't.

That's the fact. There is a difference between theoretical Economics / Analysis from practical One.

Why won't they blame APC campaign team? It's a sign of carelessness on their side. Since the printer is good at making such mistakes, why then did they give to him? Also, even after it was printed, why didn't they see the mistake? Just like u said, the same mistake was done on PDP's own but was detected and corrected. So, what's still keeping them?
Mr man, the error at the Evergreen office ( campaing office of Umar Nasko ) has been corrected, but the one at the round about on your way to Mobil has not been corrected till date, even the posters around Barkin Sale on your way to Secretariat have not been corrected, so going by your analogy its safe to say __ Its a sign of carelessness on the side of the PDP Campaign Team.

Oh less i forget, all campaign posters of APC in Niger State is managed by the Abu Sani Bello Campaign Team / Semator. Bago and not the Buhari Campaign Team mind you.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians March In Support Of Nigerian Troops Today In Abuja by Ymodulus: 4:56pm On Feb 28, 2015
Probably there is no harder decision for a political leader than to put young people, boys and girls, just because they are in uniform, in harm’s way. Unfortunately, sometimes the decision has to be taken to defend our values, our way of life and our territorial integrity. For some countries, like Israel, the need to defend itself has been a frequent necessity more than an abnormal situation.

I always believed our societies must be ready to show support for our military. While Cameroonian actions earlier today as set an epitome example for Nigerians to tow. I still believe this kind of show of support is not the best.

In quieter moments I dream of a world where the use of force will serve no purpose, a world, for instance, free of nuclear weapons, a world where peaceful coexistence could be the norm and not the exception. But I’m not so naïve as to confuse my aspirations with the reality I’m actually living in. To pay tribute to the soldiers that are always ready to fight on our first line of defense, to remind us of their value to all of us as well as of their personal sacrifices, is not only a good thing to do, but it’s our duty as well, however how we go about this is much more than a staged march of civilians, we must go about by giving out donations and the little money we can donate.

To me this is blatant rubbish staged show of solidarity by some arranged hegemony at the helm of affairs trying to make the president look nice. Trash

Man the printer of that sign Board is something Lawani Printers on same road, and i dont know why but he always have errors on some of his work. This is not from the APC Team but printer man Mistake. To buttress my point take your time and see some poosters even by the PDP Niger State Governorship Aspirant were wrongly mispelt, example of such sign post can be seen along the Justice round About coming from Kpakungu to Yahuza Sport on your way to Mobil, that book round about or whatever its called. Also check the sign post on the PDP Aspirant office, of the Evergreen, the same mistake before it was corrected. So please do not blame the APC Campaign Team

BusinessRe: The Danger That Come With Naira Devaluation by Ymodulus: 4:03pm On Feb 28, 2015
I believe the devaluation of the naira will lead to a chain of reactions, many of which may not have the intended results. For a largely monolithic-economy, like ours (Nigeria), the expectation that a devalued naira will drive export of local products, which do not exist in the required volume for now, will create additional burden on the populace. When you juxtapose the consequence of an inflation induced policy on an economy, nay the people who do not possess a corresponding purchasing power, by reason of unemployment, the consequences are better imagined than experienced.

No doubt there is the expectation that the government’s revenue, in terms of naira will move up, because of the wide exchange rate disparity between the dollar and the local currency. However, the point must be made that this expectation may be unrealisable of two variables- the falling oil prices and lower crude production aggregate.

You might say Ymodulus Is there any escape-route?

Certainly, but the question remains if Nigerians have been sufficiently sensitized to brace for this situation. In the developed nation’s when currencies are devalued, it is to encourage exports, because the prices of local products serve as an incentive and a toast for foreign buyers. In the process, they earn foreign exchange, increase production and create additional jobs. Unfortunately, that is not the position with Nigeria. Another issue would be that Nigeria will have greater difficulty in paying its external debts, which are on a growing trajectory. Earning less foreign exchange in the face of growing external debts, is an ill-wind that blows no one good.

I had said earlier on, once on this forum where i cant recall that the sack of Sanusi a Veteran Banker and the Imposition of Zenith Bank Ex MD. Emiefele Godwin is a big mistake. I have never liked Zenith bank cause of their wrong banking policy and ideology and i knew that a man such as godwin coming to the apex seat of the banking sector will pose a problem, but some nairalanders here called me an APC fanatic, i hope they can now learn as its happening. Lastly I see the naira being devalued to official rate of N220 by May 1st, as long as the CBN substitution of the naira allocations for dollar is not STOPED.

Mark my words the naira would be at a rate of N220 officially by May 1st.
