I got scammed too but with a different approach. I recharged with #1,000 and got a wow bonus of 1Gb,but I also activated the #500 for 1Gb (7 days) plan. My thinking was that once the wow data bonus expires they would do the deductions from the normal data plan. Guess what? At some point I got the notification that my allocated data had been exhausted. After just 950Mb worth of browsing ( l've installed a data counting app). I decided to call CC, but was told the wow data bonus was not on offer this weekend (29-30th July), after I got a notification that I have been credited with 1Gb! Imagine that.

Well for some unknown reasons I recharged N501 on Friday 29 July and got the said 1GB which I'm currently using.

It wasn't advertised to me via sms too this weekend so I was cautious.

Hian? I checked again it was for real. I told me self relax maybe it's an error or something. So I calmed down and checked again in 5 minutes and to my horror I was told I have exhausted my data bonus.
I sharply called their customer care and guess what I was told that I actually finished 17GB in six hours like in six freaking hours with which network bros? At 400kbps/second? Abi and the downloads av not even reached half?
Please officially mtn is a scam even their call bonus is a massive scam and please I will appreciate if this post is taken to front page to help unsuspecting victims avoid this..please if you have experience this treachery I will love your comments on what to do to bring this scam of company called MTN to justice

Dude ur test result is relative. You were testing with a server hosted in Lagos. Try testing with a server in Brazil or Australia and give results.... I'm waiting.

I received an email from Gtbank on 19th of june 2016, 2.30pm to be precise stating that my account would be debited for 200 naira for an airtime recharge that took place on 31st of December, 2015. I never took this serious as I was busy as at when the email came in. As I write now I got an email for debit of 200 naira 3 times and another 100 naira. When I called Gtconnect all I was told its a block that was set aside, but this was contrary to the email i got on the 16th of june 2016. Am used to the *737# way of buying airtime from my account and countless of times have I been debited and in the end no airtime was credited to my phone account

Questions begging for answers:

1)Is Gtbank's network system malfunctioning?

2) for the airtime transactions that I made and I wasn't credited why was the money not refunded immediately or set aside as a block

3) why would I recieve a debit alert for 4 different transactions?

Am beginning to see Gtbank as a big fraud, I wish the mods do the needful by putting this on front page so that every Gtbank account holder can learn from this fraudulent activity going on in Gtbank. Attached below are screen shots of the emails I got from Gtbank

In my own case, i got same email on same date but truth is they had already blocked off the money for airtime purchase on my account. If they did not block it off when the transactions were made then its their loss. Try to visit a branch and have them reconcile ur account.

I have an issue that's been lingering for a while between my landlord and myself and I need contributions and assertions to know if I'm wrong at all.

I stay in a set contained apartment before I got married. And few months before the expiration of my rent, I met my landlord and indicated my interest for a one bedroom apartment in the same compound which is almost at completion level.

We negotiated and reached at an agreed amount but my landlord informed me that he cant complete the 1bedroom now as he's having some financial constraints so in order to help him mop up cash, I decided to pay for the rent of the new apartment even though the rent of my self contained remains 2months to expire.

So my landlord continued with the finishing touch and along the line the money I paid him was not yet enough to get the house ready for me to move in. Then my wife and I kept waiting even though she became angry at some point but I was able to pacify her anyway.

Three months later, my landlord completed the new apartment and advised me to move in but was now informing me that either I balance him for the months I stayed extra in the self contained or he would calculate it from my new rent.

I told him I couldn't agree to that that the delay was from him not me. I reminded him the inconvenience he put my family through. He's currently angry saying he won't give me the new house again and I will have to pack out of the self contained then he will balance me.

We're still on this case but I want to know what professionals in estate management and urban planners think about this. Matured contributions pls

Dude I think you are in the wrong. What you have is two separate contracts. One for your present accommodation and another for the new one. The contract on the old one expired. Did you agree on a date to move into the new apartment? Did you agree to keep on staying in the old apartment till the new one is ready for no fee? What prepaid package are you on? You are probably on the package that deducts N5 when you make your first call of the day and call rate is 11kobo per sec which is why you were charged N5.11 for 1 sec. In my opinion thats the best package around.

From experience, some women tend to be very hard on their kids in the name of correcting them and some men tend to be irrationally lenient. A balance need to be struck in these issues. I usually advise parents, mothers especially, not to be reactive to their children's seemingly negative attitudes. Do not beat when you are upset as you most likely would "over beat" the child. Sometimes you need to remember that they are just kids and tolerate somethings, though absurd.

You should be able to change the ttl from cpanel. Thats for future dns changes.
