Aside from the GPMGs and RPGs a few of the boko haram use in their numerous attacks, no other so-called sophisticated guns have been spotted with them.
They have mastered the art of manouvering behind these technicals and the only way to effectively counter these is to have massive deployment of superior air machines like the MI-35s in large numbers.

The ratio of 3 MI-35s to 1 A-Jet in close air support for ground troops will certainly help restore confidence. One of the costly implications of not developing a modern armed forces for donkey years is what we are witnessing as it is.
