LOOKING AT THE NIGERIAN APPS -COMMISSION IS HIGH
The high commission makes it difficult to do short term trading, so if you want to use Nigeria App you must be ready to do swing trading or just be a pure investor. If we are not careful the Nigeria APPs can make you a loser from day 1, as you need at least 3 to 6 percent gain to Break even depending on the platform (chaka is the 3percent, for trove it will be about 4percent and this is if you trade with at least $75 per every order, if lower amount is traded, making profit may be difficult).

No hidden charges. There use to be $1 monthly charge at a time, but will only apply if you have money over $1 in your account at month end. I don't know if they have cancelled this.

Also, minimum charge per trade is $0.5 or 1/1.5percent whichever is higher. But, you can email them for update on Commission/charges as they are always updating them. I am sure they will respond to you

With the advancing technology, any stolen phone can be traced once you know the the IMEI number. It may take some time, but if the owner of the phone decide to take up the case and sacrifice some small amount (report to the right official channel, not paying any individual which most cases is scam). So if you are in the phone stealing business one way or the other (sellers/buyers of stollen second hand phones are inclusive), your days of thinking you will not be caught are numbered.

TARGET TECHNICAL EARLY MORNING UPDATE 9 AUG 2024
The bulls have a free highway from not till Tuesday next week when CPI report will start coming out and from what we have seen, this report may favour the bulls.

Out of the 3 points that brought down the market recently, 2 are off, but only 1 still remains, but it will only hurt the market when Trump misbehave. The factor is that HARRIS is now ahead of Trump in terms of popularity survey. This factor may not carry much weight, if Trump who has been quiet recently can avoid bad publicity. We wait and see.

However, for our business (which mainly see where to put our money to work profitably, we believe the market in some sectors have bottom out, like the blockchain and oil is building a base to rise from)

LET US PROTECT OUR CAPITAL, "RETURN OF CAPITAL" IS MORE IMPORTANT "THAN RETURN ON CAPITAL" . 7 AUG- THE DAY STARTED WELL BUT CLOSE RED

Some glimpse of hope coming to the market. Tomorrow will be another important unemployment claims report, so if you see the day starting red, no problem. Just keep your and wait for the market to open, as before the market opens the important report would have been out and we then follow up the market from there.

We just need to have some heavy weight stocks in our portfolio, despite the collapsing market stocks like: MO, T and some others are looking as of they are in a bomb proof bunker!!!

See you all tomorrow (for us tomorrow is a small pay day courtesy of stocks like FBY . Actually just like everybody, I though dividends are too small until I jam stocks that are managed by the fund that Manages FBY, they do basically covered calls and covered call funds pay dividends monthly and the yields are always high (and one may not run into the type of problems with REIT of BDC!!!

Market still volatile, we can buy the dip but in strong stocks only. For now safety of our funds is more important than quick gains. For safety looking at sector rotation, oil and REITS are looking good. HESM, STWD are our stocks for the day.

Wishing all safety in this turbulence market. One interesting matter I like about US is that rate of recovery from crisis is fast and the world is always interested in their affairs, while US has already got out of the recession (let us assume it is temporary) while others are still mourning for the Country, looks funny.

Just as expected, some dip buying is happening today., but we hope the trend will last for the Trading day!!! We wait and see, the aftermarket has many of the big stocks as gainers (NVDA. MY, MSFT, AAPL, TSLA, plus a lot of oil stocks etc) , so highly probability of a likely green day

Market likely to start bearish due to the following reasons (market will change if some of these start changing) :
- Kamala Harris closing the gap on Trump popularity poll from a one 30 to 45% (market like ls Trump more than democrats
-A bitcoin whale is about to be probed so is speculated to be liquidating some posirions
-economy may enter recession

So we should not panic, a positive news on the above will slow down the bears. But, today is looking forward to be a very bloody day. Even [b]the fear refuge (GOLD) [/b]has been engulfed by this fear in the MARKET. But let us be calm, hold our cash for some few days, wait, we thing on what will be the next move of the market and the work out a survival plan.

MARKET IS BLEEDING AT THE MOMENT
This is a difficult time in the market. We need to encourage ourselves that better time will come.

Somehow we are putting whatever we have now into coffee can and find taps is key at the moment.

Let us just take this as a slowdown or waiting time. Again we are lucky that this is not forex trading or else losses could have been bigger.

Market Can be Scary Atimes
Today's negative move in the market looks abnormal. However, if you look at you portfolio and what you have done to prevent a day like this plus the likelihood of recovery, the fact that the likelihood of recovery is high, at least after month end my dividend are waiting which may likely be reinvested (but I am looking at the option of withdrawing the dividend depending on how the market is able to recover), no qualms we move one.

MARKET IS JUST TOO VOLATILE
We need to be careful at this point in time. As everybody is expecting rate cut to favour stocks, big money are playing their games to get the small holders to sell close to the bottom of the market.

If we have good quality stocks in our portfolio, our worry should be minimal. For the good dividend paying stocks, the low price may be a good opportunity to add to our portfolio if we can bear the heat. All things being EQUAL, next week may be better.*REMINDER*

TRADING GLOBAL STOCKS LOOKS LIKE THE PLACE TO BE
When I look at the various news making the rounds on blockchains, I am happy that I have positions on both the "coffee can side" and recently I am exited on the growtj/leverage side.

So, we should look to buy the dips on blockchain stocks . These days, I am taking my attention away from expecting money from the caucus side, if I can make money in the market, getting small small money from monthly subscribers is just to support our expenses

Also, we should chech CHAKA, the platform is adding new stocks like mad. I think to make them add more stocks, just tell them in your mail that stock is available on TROVE as sometimes they give the excuses that, DRIVEWEALTH is not making the stock available.

The Global market is good for one thing. it cannot be down for too long. So today, the ill is likely to come back. Also in the medium term, the blockchain industry may start to overshadow AI.

The reason for this is the flocking of big investors to the industry (Etherium ETFs have just been licensed to start trading). Who are some of the new blockchain buyers, [b]mainly CEOs of Technology and Finance industries like: BLACKROCK, DELL, TSLA etc. [/b]So we should see more action on blockchain in the medium timeframe.

I will say market not too bad, depending on what is in your portfolio? If you like member of our caucus and you have been following the industry that is in rotation (if you read Mr recent mentioned sectors I believe, you will catch the gist).

So for my answer, I will say hmmmmmm, market not too bad today because we follow our plan and somehow we ignore news except that we are conscious of the current market underlining findamentals

We should look forward to a volatile market today. This is a good day where big money will shake out the small players from their postions against tommorrow.

At this point in time, market is waiting for a catalyst. Probably after Thursday news reports the market may start to stabilize.

The improvement I saw as a result of the above on my portfolio is remarkable.

The good thing is that due to change in technology plus advent of blochain related ETFs, many dividend paying ETFs now has some growth stock qualities.

So again. I will advice that we should have some dividend paying stocks in our portfolio, many have puuled back and you can get the at cheap prices, I mentioned one not too long ago [i](BITO).

MARKET IS GIVING UNDERTONE OF A LIKELY GREEN MARKET ON MONDAY
For Friday the blockchain industry was bullish, as I was not looking at the market all day, seeing the NASDAQ negative by close of market was a little surprising for me. It is likely the crowdstrike/Microsoft outage made the market to penalise the tech sector.

Again, I want to say this is the best forum you can be. For example which investment (that will give you rest of mind, never put money is you see such in Nigeria as it will definitely be a scam, I am saying this with 100% assurance) will give you dividend yield of 5% per month, few, but in this our market we have them (you can ask our caucus members).

Wishing everybody longevity in this market.. For me I am seeing potential of earning easy money on monthly basis with 5% dividend yield. Like I pointed out previously, for those of us with Vest .Io this type of dividend flow (you invest some back, minimum is $1.00) represents deposit, so you have met the condition that you must deposit some moner every quarter even if you receive 1 cent dividend, it may be counted as deposit.
