WHAT DOES THE MARKET HAVE FOR US TODAY:

MARKET PLAN FOR 3 APRIL 2024
Looking at the activities in the early morning/Asian season. Highly probable that we see some recovery today's as per the pre-market gainers having some heavy weights [/b]from S & P 500 showing up in the gainers list.

Also looking at intermarket analysis, GOLD still has some postive move to make, while Oil
looks fairly weak.

TO TRADE WELL IN THIS MARKET ONE NEED LONGEVITY PLUS AN EDGE

Market is down today. It is okay not too suprised, the profitable traders need to cash out from time to time.

No, I am getting to the point where, I can say I am using some dangerous scanners. Yes, I use technical analysis, buy the technical analysis only pick up "alpha stocks". So, I can say the technical analysis incorporates some element of fundamental analysis.

Just like a member in our caucus asked me if I am buying stocking trading at 52 weeks high, I said no and true I went to scan for stocks at 52 weeks high, for me this 52 was just like a random picks of stock without our kind of quality.

So, I will ask that we should continue to be students of the market, fir example today we bought PBR fot our coffee can position (if you are hearing coffee can for the 1st time, please google "coffee can investing strategy so you understand what I am saying.

Today a lot of traders are going to sweat in this market. It is time to take some profits off the table especially in blockchain stocks.

Let us take profit, it is sometimes necessary. Opportunities in CHINESE, and metals/materials

MARKET OPENING BULLISH ON THE 1ST HOUR OF THE AUSTRALIAN SEASON
When the US stock market opens, we are likely to see the bulls opening the dance floor for the week.

This is a good time to be in this market. The market has sidestep all the bearish bombs!!!

CPE INFLATION FIGURE WAS FAVORABLE
On Monday we look forward to the market opening on a bullish note.

WHAT IS MARKET EXPECTATION ON RATE CUT
Expectation of rate cut is what is keeping the market bullish (FED has assured of rate cut, but the time it will start is uncertain). We need tave this behind our mind so that when we see anything rate cut, we need to read the article to the end (will rate cut in the future still happen? This is what is important) . Actually for political reason, it will be suicidal to totally abandoned rate cut, to abandon rate cut mean the risk of democrats losing the election is higher and may mean handling the Presidential ticket to Republicans. The US is not like the undeveloped world like Nigeria where the welfare of the masses is taken for granted (rate hike means higher prices for goods/more suffering for the common man on the street) ,

Rate cut is a torchy matter, I am sure the FED are having a tough time on this rate cut matter. However, to align with the Government political objective (avoid saying or projecting that Government does not care if people will suffer), FED are having a heculian task, especially if inflation keep rising!!! On the whole, technical analysis will help us in knowing what to do without having to know too much economics or predict the future, we move along with the market dictates!!!

Conclusion: bullish hope is kept alive, all hinged on expectation that rate cut will happen, starting sometimes this year!!!

SOMEHOW THESE DAYS I DON'T FOLLOW NEWS THE WAY I USE TO DO AGAIN?
Focus more on the technicalities of our trade seems to be paying off. Like I told the Caucus the stock I am buying today just 2hrs ago. I explain that market today look risky. But L, despite that the trade will close on postive side from day 1. Looks good.

No, my worry is not trade entry!!! And I know majority of out trades ends in profit. My big headache now is keeping the losses small. Our trading books gives the idea as 8% or thereabout (I am taking on trade by trade basis, if 2% of our total account, this should still mean I should sacrifice about the 20% on trade by trade bases). Okay, we continue to see how to perfect our stop loss. Losses are annoying but we just need to acknowledge that we must be ready to take losses, as long as we are trading or will continue trading.

For today, it was another profitable day on our portfolios, yes our members expects this and will not be suprised, especially when we take sector rotation as a key component of our system. Those of us that have just started reading trading books, take note of sector rotation/top down approach, very key concepts

WHAT WE SHARED IN OUR CAUCUS GROUP TODAY
Blockchain and Marijuana are among the 2 sector that are currently in play. For blockchain, we are in already and we mentioned one stock that will be in the books of every blockchain ETF, today again we mentioned a Marijuana ticker that is doing shares buyback, a weal company will not buy back shares, so we are to take position in this stock.

WHAT IS OUR MARKET EXPECTATION FOR TODAY
We expect a bullish day today. One of the reason for this is the US Parliament and President approving the spending budget over the Weekend.

Market has been very good, especially for blockchain stocks. However, we need to watch our portfolio to avoid a situation where we become too heavy on blochain related stocks.

We should continue to keep our ears close to the ground for inflation related matters. Again, in many continents, inflation is giving indication of rising again. Let us see how the world powers will handle this unfortunately, there is no strong leader that has the kind of weight to convince the oil produces to increase their quota like Trump.

For the newbies that want to lean on their own, this is good but be ready to suffer some losses that may likely be more that what you will pay for any subscription service (we are talking practical here). For example, d you know that in most of the books you may not see any thing like: short ratio, put/call ratio etc. The market is just too complex to try and learn on your own. As I individual, I paid for subscription services and trading platforms, and for me it was money well spent, I did not even feel I was paying anything looking at the benefit I was deriving. We can compare this to the time Passfolio introduced advance order capabilities (they retain your advanced orders till it is cancelled, no matter the number of dayd unlike what is available in chaka) , when stop/limit orders are canceled at the end of each trading day. I enjoy this so much, as on many occasions I wake up to see my sale proceed resting in my account when my stop order is hit while I was sleeping or away from my system.

MARKET LOOKING TOUGH TODAY
Today we are not buying anything. Also our positions are not threatened, so nothing to sell.

We hope Monday will be better. There is no big news next week that can be scary. GDP on Thursday and CPE on Friday, no big deal, GDP should be okay, CPE may not be too good (but no damage is expected to the uptrend)

The biotech stocks seems to be too many. Too many of then are making some scans to become too lengthy. The volatility of the market is high and here are what I can discern from the market immediately:
- Blockchain stocks have quiet accumulation going on, so we are bullish on them- Will mention one latter today, if we do not mention, please forgive us as we have given all necessary clues. PREMARKET IS GIVING INDICATION OF A LIKELY BULLISH WEEK
The stock market athmosphere is full of optimism. Tech, blockchain oil sectors looking good.

Market Pulling Back Today Is Expected
We are in the topple Witching day zone. So, with high probability on the bearish side. We should expect more pullbacks tommorrow. Monday will be the final opportunity for bears, thereafter the market should return to normal late on Monday. So for today and tommorow we should keep our stocks tight and be ready to take profits on so. E 9f our postions. For today, tommorow and early Monday we do not need to rush this market?

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS ENDED 10 MARCH 2024
Yesterday I was trying to sell a stock around 9.40pm Nigeria time not knowing market has already closed by 9pm WAT.

Latter I confirmed that trading time now 2.30 to 9p.m WAT. We will enjoy this time till first week of November. So, let us keep this in mind.

THERE IS BIG GAIN IN LONGEVITY
At this point, I am not afraid of selling at a loss if necessary. Why, I know the market cannot take away some of the profits I have pocket.

For example you can refer to the 2 stocks, I showed from my portfolio recently (NVDA and COIN). if they fall more than 20% from their current position, I will sell. Equally, MARA, CLSK and other bitcoin stock are in my selling list once they hit my stop loss. Thank God for the new ETFs for blockchains, we now have dividend paying bitcoin related ETFs. So if I am fed up with the normal bitcoin stocks, I will port to the ones paying dividend.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH US STOCKS IN RECENT TIME HAS BEEN A GOOD ONE
Was suprised to see that bidden signed the US funding bill on Saturday to avoid shutdown (I am suprised that I have not been following this up, why is that I am focused on Managing my Portfolio, so if my portfolio is not threatened, I don't need to be looking for too much news).

The effect 9f the above is that Monday is likely to open bullish. Another reason why I was not too focus on news is that my main stocks are in performing sectors of the market. Like we discussed 9n our group, if most of our watchlist are gaining, maybe it is luck and market is random. Then, I tried to pick some stocks randomly, to my suprise the too many losers I would have ended up with scared me so much, the conclusion is that our method is better than random.

This week, let us look forward to bitcoin stocks leading the market again. Tuesday and Thursday has some inflation reports, but bullish expectation in the market is likely to crush the bearish expectations.

LOOKING AT THE MARKET THESE DAYS - GETTING STOCKS THAT WILL ADVANCE SEEMS NOT TO BE A BIG DEAL. WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL?
The big deal seams how to keep our stops small and avoid buying at the top!

Viewing this big deal issue, it seems if the stop problem (if we can keep our stops small) may be the key to everything? We will continue with our search for the solution!!! Also, I can bet that those days you see this forum empty, most of us are trying to see what we can do to solve these 2 problems (buying at the top and suffering a big big loss on the hope that we do not want to loose money, somebody said somewhere that you have not suffered a loss until you sell your losing position, please that is not applicable here, if your loss is pass 70%, just know that you have lost the money in that trade as it may take more than 4yrs to recover or you may never recover again.

So let us up our game. There is money here for people who will do things right (learn under a mentor/subscription service: have some knowledge of Tecnicals such that when we mention or you see a stock somewhere you will know a good entry point: take your mind away from news on hot stocks for the moment, this is a killer:be willing to take a small loss, nobody gains 100% of the time even Buffet, Sorros: be ready to do some work on your own, know the profile of some of the stocks you are interested in etc).

MARKET TO CONTINUE THE UPTREND
Current AI and blockchain led growth is still intact. We should position in one of the sectors or the 2 if possible.

Let us disabuse our minds that expensive stocks cannot rise. Seeing 80 to 100% gain in a matter of months (mostly 3 to 4 months) is now common. See a snapshot from some of our holdings here and more will still follow) .

Also, please as a member of this forum (I am not interested in selling anything to you, subscribers usually benefit from knowledge transfer, which they can use for years), get a mentor, not the free type so that you can talk to the person to transfer some knowledge to you.

CHAKA PLATFORM IS LAGGING BEHIND IN TERMS OF NO OF STOCKS AVAILABLE COMPARED WITH TROVE!!
The wide gap in stocks that are availble in average platforms like Trove and Chaka is just too much!!!

Trading on Chaka has restricted the users to too few stocks. The problem is sometime before chaka makes the stock available, the price may have gone through the roof. Am old case was SAVA. In The Covid era stock started getting noticed when it was $4, Chaka did not make stock available until it hit$100, now imaging the stock is about $8.

Now too, stocks like TRMD, NU holdings, DTST, AEHR, are NOT ON Chaka, but they are popular stocks. The high commission on Trove means we buy/sell minimum of $50 at a time to enjoy approximately 1% commission on each side of the trade. We are still looking at what to do on this?

Market is still good, some of US have reached our full capacity temporarily) in terms of what we can buy. So for now we can only wait to see stocks that we can sell in order to buy another without losing so much money via commission.

PREMARKET LOOKING COOL TODAY

We will definitely make some money in this market. But let us keep to the rules (keep loses small, buy quality stocks, stick to your trading rules for example do not buy a stock that is going down, buy stocks with tradeable daily volume greater than/up to a 200k etc) of successful trading, it is not easy, but we should just try.

ON A DAY LIKE THIS_ WE ARE IN NO HURY TO BUY ANY STOCK 5 FEB 2024
Market falling is nobody's friend. With the Baba of Fed speaking tommorow, there will be no notice in the market until Powell finish his testimony.

But, we may buy something small for our Coffee can if we see the opportunity, so today, bought small qty of T (AT & T), pattern is good. We are still watching the likes of BBAI too for good entry point.

MARKET NOT BAD TODAY - I AM HAPPY WITH MY PORTFOLIO

I am happy with my portfolio, as I can see a lot of green.

However, my greatest regret is not starting with a subscription/mentoring service, it would have cut my learning time substantially. Today the blockchain (let us call it this, to avoid exposing too much to casual visitors here) stocks are on fire. CIFR is fairly good.
