@op ignore her. simply pretend as if you don't care, even though you do. the truth about women is that the more you show you are interested in their affairs, the more the tend to continue |
yeah, we were suppose to pile actually, but the cost of pilling alone was 32m (without the tie beams and pile cap). its actually a 6-storey hotel with a penthouse floor. The raft slab is 350mm thick while the ground beams are 2.0m deep. We've used more than 4,000 bags of cement and still counting..... I will definately startup a thread as soon as we get off the foundation, we are already 90% done. Thanks |
However,if you observe the level of casting of d Ground beam, u will see those concrete caster did nt cast to acceptable level, some place ve 300mm above d concrete and according to Structural details, we may cast within 150mm to 200mm. I need to pity the client hence use Hardcore to make up but that doest reduce slab thickness.
Makes sense. I'm presently working on a project right now, we have spent roughly N30m on the foundation and we haven't reached the DPC yet! Its raft foundation similar to your only that its inverted (ie, the raft slab on the ground and the ground beams are 2.0m deep). Probably i might open a thread for it soon. Once again you are doing a GOOD JOB, and I and many other NLanders have learnt a thing or two. Keep up the good work. |
Hello Segcy.moor I just came across you thread yesterday and i must commend you on what you are doing, its a fine work.However let me point something out. The foundation you adopted for this project is inverted raft foundation with the raft slab on top. My concern is that why did you use hardcore after sand-filling, considering the fact that your raft slab is reinforced See pics below;The presence of the hardcore makes your raft slab uniform (i.e its thickness). For example, if your structural engineer designed the raft slab to be 150mm thick, the presence of hardcore would not let you achieve such uniform thickness throughout the slab, this off course has its structural implications. Secondly, since you are reinforcing the raft slab, you could avoid spending money on filling with laterite, because you raft beams would safely carry the slab without any issues. The only problem with this is that you might not be able to recover your formwork. Nice work though. Your work is very professional. p.s: Please I'm not trying to criticize your design/method in a anyway. I believe this forum is a platform for us to share ideas and learn from each other. I await your response.

Lilimax: There is nothing wrong with the drug being certified by NAFDAC.you are getting it wrong sweetheart. The name (which is also the purpose) of the drug is Yodi, this means that the drug was designed, first of all for 'yodi' reasons before treating allergies and other conditions. |
my broda, cargo is divided by two. So if you will accept 50k, i will give to you ASAP |

@op, you are such a child. |
this is not a product of polygamy, I've seen countless polygamous homes that are much more peaceful than monogamous homes abi una nor know say one bad-nagging wife fit cause more problems than 4 'average' headed wives. Rather it's as a result of silly Jealousy and lack of control (from both the man and his wife). |
GCRS87: May God hlp dem oo. Wish d flood is oil, evry person must ve bn smiling instead of worrying or crying.think carefully before you wish, if it was oil it would have been far worse because fire would definitely occur and the entire city will turn to ash. so bros tink again |
Ubenedictus: i think ur idea is a bit faulty, what u explain about was developed by buddha, for me karma simply mean what u sow is what you reap. It doest mean if i stole my friends' orange then my friend will steal my orange, it mean i will get a just punishment for stealingthanks |
The law of Karma states that what goes around comes back around. This means that whatever you do unto someone, good or bad, will be done back to you by someone else. Now let’s consider the following sceneries, Blessing is married to Tom who happens to be having an illicit affair with Mary, a young undergraduate girl and Mary is very much aware that Tom is married but she doesn’t mind. After schooling, Mary falls in love with another young man, Jerry and eventually gets married to him. If karma comes in to play, it means that some other girl, maybe Grace, would be sleeping with Jerry as payback for what Mary did to Blessing. My question now is would Grace be punished by Karma when she gets married or would she go free considering the fact that she was only being an instrument of karma to payback Mary. In the bible, we read of a story about how King David killed Uriah and stole his wife, Bathsheba. God was off course angry with David and He sent his prophet Nathan to rebuke David and tell him of God’s intended punishment for such sin. 2nd Samuel 12 v 9-11, “why then have you disobeyed my commands? ........... You will see it when I take your wives from you and give them to another man; and he will have intercourse with them in broad day light”. Goodnews Bible Having intercourse with another man’s wife is termed ‘ADULTERY’ which is clearly a sin against God. What now becomes the fate of the men that God would cause to have intercourse with David’s wives? Would they be punished for their adulterous act or would God overlook this sin simply because they are barely instruments of Karma? Does this mean sin is sometimes justified and unpunished when they are being used as payback to someone else? How can one know if the sin (not only adultery, also robbery, lying etc) he/she commits serves as payback to somebody and therefore would not be held accountable for such sin? Fellow N’landers, I need answers to these questions and I also believe there are others out there that are having similar questions. Please when contributing it would be much better if you can back it up with bible verse. God bless you. |

maclatunji: Oshiomole to Jonathan: “Ignore Edo godfathers.”Devilfather......very true and funny ![]() |
I've been following this topic and reading every single post especially btw the op and damola1 and it seems that whenever he (damola1) addresses questions raised by the op he always skips one fact, admitting that the car was accidental and also lied about servicing the car at elizade because after seeing the pictures, especially that of the welded chasis, even a blind man can see that it was done by road side welders. My conclusion, damola1 is a FRAUD, a poor one at that. |
the time you spent writing this thread would have been enuf for you to do your so called STS assignments. |
