All of a sudden, these APC folks are claiming competency is much more important than Federal character. Few months ago, they posted this ad on a national newspaper. Let's look at the bright side, the federal character law seems to be abolished. I hope this long awaited call for abandoning the 'almighty' federal character that the North has used to rub us of for all these years has come to stay. What the APC is failing to understand is that within as short while, 4 years would be over and new elections would suffice. Should a southerner win and begin to reciprocate by appointing only 'competent' southerners, they shouldn't cry foul because first to do, e no dey pain....

I only have one question for the owner, on what roads does he intend to drive these toys? Not on our Lagos roads I presumed ![]() These cars are built for speed on very good roads. I'm pretty sure he rarely drives those cars, prolly once in a year and he has to choose his route carefully to avoid port holes and speed breakers. And moreover he won't be able to do up to 200km/h speed and that's no where near the top speed. Bottom line, he no go enjoy these toys on our naija roads. The groove for these supercars is when you drive them at full speed, drifting et all. I guess na for show he buy am for. Anyways, life is too short not to enjoy yourself while you can cos when we die, someone else will groove our money for us. So it's best we do whatever we like with it whilst we still live |
Why is Saraki seeking to make peace with Buhari? Is he unaware of his power as the Senate president? In more developed climes, the reserve ought to be the case. ( the president should be seeking to make peace with the legislative head) |

My advice: NO! Let her nurse your child till he is one and she can begin her job search. The God that blessed her with this offer, would provide her with something bigger when your child turns one. After all being a wife/nursing mother is a job itself.

Big men and loan are like bread and butter. I'm pretty sure these marketers have more than 5 times the money dey intend to loan from the banks, but they would rather not use it. Instead they prefer to take loans (depositors money) from the banks which they won't pay back. |
sukkot:I've been studying your previous post, some of which I find very intriguing and interesting, and I realized you normally make reference to Benin names/terminologies. So I figured you'd probably be in Benin. But if you feel any bit uncomfortable about meeting, I would completely respect that and back off. It's your call. |
sukkot:Okay. Let's meet at Subway bar, Airport road B/C tomorow Monday evening anytime from 6pm. Lemme know if it's doable. |
sukkot:Are you in Benin? If yes I'd like to meet up |

Growing up as a kid, I remember a story my folks told me. It started with a gang of two robbers, Aliu and Musa wanting to rob a very rich man, they realized that they needed to get an extra hand and such, Wale was approached and told of the plan. With promise of fair share of the spoils after the robbery with Wale, he left his initial gang and joined with Aliu and Musa. After days of careful planing and preparation, the trio eventually went for the robbery and alas, it was smooth and successful. At their hide out after the robbery they decided to count the money and begin sharing it equally among themselves as promised. But before that, they realised that they were hungry and needed to eat first. So they sent Wale to go get food. While he was gone, Aliu thought it would be better to get rid of Wale so that he and Musa would share the money between themselves. He sold the idea to Musa and he(Musa) immediately bought it and they both conspired to kill Wale as soon as he gets back with the food. Wale, on his own, thought within himself to get the all of the money alone, and as such, he poisoned the food. ![]() On getting back to the hide out, Aliu and Musa pounced on Wale and beat him till there was no breath left in him and so Wale died. Being exhausted from the robbery and now the fight with Wale, Aliu and Musa decided to eat first And folks, that's was how the infamous trio met their demise. I hope and pray that similar fate does not happen to our dearly beloved APC ![]() |
