PoliticsRe: Obama In Nigeria, Oh Sorry, Ghana! by yonybanta(m): 9:56am On Jul 14, 2009
I don't think the visit of Obama to Ghana rather than Nigeria has anything to do with our corruption or our development. for example if we are to consider the most appropriate place for Obama to visit first, then such place should be Kenya his father-land. But he choose one place at a time, Obama is not God that will appear in so many place at a time. The visit of Obama to Ghana does not mean that Ghana is rate first in Africa.

Even though Ghana has had smooth election, South Africa is democratically developed than Ghana, South Africa has had great political leaders than Ghana, Nigeria has a strong Bi-Lateral relationship with America than Ghana.

why must you wait for people approval on what you belief is the best for you?, well i am not saying you should disobey them, but the fact still remain that if you depend on people approval you will end up marrying someone who can destabilized your life. nobody can choose what is best for you, you are the only one who knows what is best for yourself.
PoliticsRe: Rate Yaradua's Government by yonybanta(m): 1:24pm On Jun 28, 2009

PoliticsRe: Who Is The Best Senate President? by yonybanta(m): 10:47am On Jun 11, 2009
I think Ken Nnamani is the best Senate Nigeria had ever had. This was the man who stand for greater Nigeria throughout his tenure. This was the Senate President Who do not act as a loyalist to the Executive. The man who fought to destroy the selfish ambition of Obasanjo.

I think our Senate today should look up to people like Ken as their Mentor. the man who act with selflessness and maturity for greater Nigeria. If Yar'Adua would have Legislatures like Ken in his administration, then we shall experience an unprecedented developments.
Foreign AffairsRe: South Africans Vow To Sack Christ Embassy by yonybanta(m): 11:49am On Jun 10, 2009
I wander why should some people gather themselves in ignorant that they want to fight to protect the church of God.I want to remind those of you who want to fight to protect Christianity, of the incident in Jerusalem when Peter and John were to be killed (i.e. the book of Acts) for their refusal to stop the preaching of Christ, a Jewish Elder who was highly respected by the Jews, name Gamaliel stood up and said "Don't kill these people (Peter and John), for before Christ came with His Gospel, there was Judah of Galilee and many false Messiahs who attracts the attention of many but at the end they comes to nothing, so leave these people alone (Peter and John). if their preaching is false, it will come to nothing, but if it is the true gospel, you will end up having yourselves fighting God"

my advice to the people including the pastors who are planing ways to flush Christ Embassy to let God who is the owner of the Church to decide what will happen to these people who are using His (God) name to perpetrate evil. Church is not a political party where men could stand as Oppositions. God has in the past disgrace many of these, and i strongly belief He will do same to Christ Embassy if really is a fake Church.

PoliticsRe: Who Killed Our Democracy? by yonybanta(m): 1:24pm On Jun 06, 2009
As the matter of fact, nobody killed our democracy, our democracy is not death. it only need maturity.

even if our country have never had free and fair election does not mean that we don't have democracy. Nigerian have had free and fair election in the first republic and in 1993. We must not have all the feature of good democracy in place before we will say we are practicing democracy, the nations that are strong in democracy today have had their challenges in the past before. the fact that someone has not grown unto the stage of contributing to his/her family and the community does not mean that such person doesn't exist, he exist but has not yet grow. Obasanjo cannot be responsible for our fortune neither IBB should be held responsible. it does not take one person to change the democracy of America, so it will not take one person to better our democracy but our collective efforts and especially our sacrifices.

If we say our democracy has been killed, then it means there is no hope for our democracy. we can still make our democracy better by taking it upon ourselves as our personal problems in order to proffers solutions rather than leaving it in the hands of few to spoil it.
FamilyRe: Sex Before Marriage Does It Help? by yonybanta(m): 12:49pm On Jun 06, 2009
So many marriages are either broken or have become a battle ground today because of the foundation they have created during their relationship period. marriage can only grow on 'trust' and 'love' both couple have for one another. you cannot sleep with your eyes close believing that your pause is not doing something funny out there when you fully know that during your relationship he/she lacks self-control to wait till you are married before having sex.

when you have sex before marriage, can go a long way in destroying your marriage because both of you will no more trust each other as far as sex outside marriage is concern. Just as what happen between you when you are not married can happen between your spouse and someone outside there. Waiting for sex before your marriage does not mean you don't have sexual feeling for your partner, but your self-control is what will help you and that can go a long way in saving your marriage in future. Is just like a father who has little income but rather than spending it on pepper soap in the restaurant, choose to be drinking gari to save some money for his children education which is his future. we too can reserve our pleasure for sex today for excellent and trustful marital life tomorrow.
EducationRe: Would You Help Your Children To Cheat In Exams? by yonybanta(m): 11:08am On Jun 06, 2009
for God sake, if i help my child to cheat in the examination what am i teaching him/her? when i help my child to cheat in an examination, i'm only opening the door for him to become a fraudster, and wayward in life. for if i must have responsible child tomorrow whose contribution will affect the country and the world atlarge, then such child must be morally brought up and must be properly train in his chosen field of study.

even if the child will repeat four years in a class if i do not help him let him; let it be, "for it is more honourable to fail than to cheat" (Lincoln), because such repeat is good for him/her to prepare him/her for challenges ahead not only in the class room but in life time.

If we allow them to cheat today, then we should be sure to have people lives destroy in the hospital in the future because of incompetent doctors, we should be sure to have people lives destroyed in the future by collapse buildings because of incompetent and insincere architect and engineers, we should be sure to have more corrupt police and arm robbers on our street in the future because their upbringing were faulty.

RomanceRe: How To Make Someone Fall In Love by yonybanta(m): 10:43am On Jun 06, 2009

The best way to make someone fall in love with you is to present yourself matured humble irrespective of what you have. most reasonable ladies/men does not want arrogant people except if they want to help you empty your pocket. If you are not decent person and you want someone who is decent to fall in love with you, you must be decent. If you are decent and you want someone who is indecent, then you must dance according to his/her likes.

it is amazing that most men thing money is the best criteria money is good but is secondary far as love is concern. Using money as a means to win love can only result to deception in the pretext of love.
PoliticsRe: When Will Our Democracy Mature? by yonybanta(m): 9:57am On Jun 06, 2009
I suggest that Nigerian should not be in hurry, i discovered that we blame our democracy today because we do compared it with nations who have come a long way, we also will get there one day if all of us agree to be there.

we cannot compared our democracy with America who had had independent for over 200 years, neither can we compare ourselves now with Britain. what is required of us to make our democracy matured is our willingness to make it matured. we cannot keep on leaving the politics on the hands of elites to make it matured for us, we cannot keep on running to wining party for immediate gain leaving the nation without opposition and expect to be matured, we must sacrifice our gain for the better of our democracy. we need to voice out our opinions and our contribution to make it change.

Democracy (election) is the structure upon which we can make a greater Nigeria, we cannot keep own keeping quite and allow some selfish people to determine our election for us, but i'm not saying someone should go for riot, but what i'm saying is let our position as Nigerian, especially the youth be known. we need to voice out to issues like 'Electoral Reform' which now stands as our hope for credible election come 2011, we should not allow few people to damage this good initiative.

everybody need to be patriotic in order to make greater Nigeria, leaders alone cannot make Nigeria Democracy matured. there is need for attitudinal change among us in order to put an end to the incessant electoral fraud and its likes in Nigeria.
RomanceRe: What Is The Right Age To Get Married? by yonybanta(m): 9:18am On Jun 06, 2009
I think there is no specific age for marriage, it depend on individual, a man can be 35 years but still behalf as a boy which automatically disqualify him. a lady who is 25 or 30 can still be thinking as a 5 years girl which makes her unqualified for marriage. you must be psychologically and physiologically matured to manage conflicts when it arrise, for definately there must be conflict because even if you are twins, there must be a day you will disagree over an issue not to talk of people who came from different background, different gender and different ways of thinking. what will bring you together again when you disagree or misunderstood each other is your maturity to manage conflicts. love alone without maturity and conflict management cannot keep couples together.

talking about economic, one need to be financially okay, as a man, you should know that food must be cooked three times a day, bills must be paid including children school fees.

generally, minimum years should be 21 for men and maximum should be 40 years, for children are not suppose to be raise by aging parents whose thinking capabilities are equal to that of children. for women, 18 should be minimum and 35, for by 18 she is physiologically matured to bear a child and by 35 she can at least give birth for 5 years before menopause.

EducationRe: Futa Is Best University Of Technology In Nigeria:did You Agree by yonybanta(m): 8:44am On Jun 06, 2009
FUTA lacks the facilities and credibility to be name the best university in Nigeria. according to the world rating, Futa has never become first in Nigeria, Futa has been graduating students for many decades now but the country has not benefited from its so called Technology. if actually Futa is something to write home about, then we should have her graduate turn the fortune of this country by inventing or improving our technological wahala, just as we have people like Soyinka in the literary world. he was produced by Nigerian University
