PoliticsRe: Nstional Assembly Gives Usa 7-day Ultimatum On Terror List by yonybanta(m): 11:25am On Jan 06, 2010
what U.S did was uncalled for, how can the whole country be blacklisted just because of one man action. If U.S no more need us for any partnership they should come out and let us know because we can survive with or without America.

U.S should know that we have thousands of law abiding Nigerian residing in U.S and also contributing to the economy growth of U.S, Nigeria as a Nation has never officially adopted any move to threatened U.S. They should consider all these and stop destroying our nation's image.
PoliticsRe: Dr. Goodluck Jonathan Comes Under Pressure To Resign by yonybanta(m): 9:15pm On Dec 05, 2009
This pressure is coming from the north i believe because of their insensitive and domineering mode of politics they want Goodluck to also resign for them to fulfilled their selfish ambition. I'm from north but i will never support such barbaric form of politics in my life time.

The constitution made it clear that under such circumstances like ill-health or any fault on the side of President, his Deputy should take over. For heaven sake, is the zoning from the political party more important than our constitution?

There has been recommendations for amendment of constitution such that president and his vice will depart office together in case of any impeachment or resignation , but since the constitution has not yet been amended Goodluck still remain the valid candidate to replace Yar'Adua in case he resign

EducationRe: ASUU Declares Post-UME Illegal by yonybanta(m): 10:43am On Oct 26, 2009
JAMB has complained so much in the time past on the conduct of this PUME but ASUU did nothing about it, i pray that i will do something about this good for nothing PUME which only frustrate intending candidates who may at the end of the day will not be able to get admitted into those universities.

Imaging the Senate of University of Jos regarding their recent PUME as illegal because it was conducted by private ICT firm when they were on strike while forgetting the fact that the POST UME itself is illegal.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Taking Over Africa by yonybanta(m): 9:36pm On Oct 21, 2009
We can actually get to the top as a nation but it will be more dignified if we get up in a legitimate and way rather than stealing to invest in order to become a wise rich thief.
HealthRe: NMA Faults Government On Treatment Of Gunshot Victims by yonybanta(m): 8:26pm On Oct 21, 2009
"who pays" what can of question is that, does it mean that the payment of money is more important than the life of victims who died in this country on daily bases as a result of this carelessness and insensitivity on the part of Medical professionals.
PoliticsRe: Would You Vote For Yaradua To Be Re-elected? by yonybanta(m): 12:02pm On Oct 12, 2009
The man is sincere but he is not capable to rule a country like Nigeria. at least we are tired of this unmovable administration, we are tired of lecturers unending strike, we are tired of having ourselves absent at the U.N general meeting which is very important to the advancement of this nation, we are tired of having people from Kasina filled the presidential cabinet/inner caucus at the expend of national interest

The groom must be crazy, what is the meaning of that? does it mean that anybody who came into their room at that moment can also be shut simply because he has gun for protection?

Police should take care of this Monster.
SportsRe: Congratulations Siasia Flying Eagles Qualify For Round Of 16. by yonybanta(m): 1:48pm On Oct 03, 2009
Please guys, we must learn to say positive things on this under 20 team and also Nigeria at large. Statement like: Nigeria is a disgrace, Nigeria is going no where; can not help us.

we are part of Nigeria, whether Nigeria is disgraceful or not, Nigeria cannot be disgraceful with the exemption of its citizen, so by implication the prosperity of this nation or retrogression can directly affects us. do something to help change the nation, leaders alone cannot do.
PoliticsRe: Former US President Gives Fashola International Award by yonybanta(m): 12:35pm On Oct 02, 2009
That is a great achievement to Nigeria, We are proud to have such a visionary leader (Fashola) in Nigeria.

in fact, his style of leadership is the change we need in Nigeria. This Award is not a surprise to us neither is it the end, this is just the begining i belief much more is coming because the man has done a lot even his enemies can testify that in Lagos State.
RomanceRe: Guys: Do You Monitor Your Girlfriend's Appearance? by yonybanta(m): 9:34am On Oct 02, 2009
Monitoring each other appearance is good, but the situation where by only the guy monitored is authocratic which is detrimentatal to any relationship.

But guys should learn to (avoid) get rid of any lady that does not value herself to the extend of dressing like a sexual tool instead of dressing as a responsible lady who can gather reputation to herself, her family and her guy.

If you have a girl that persistently dress like a potential prostitute, despite your constant correction, then you should know that she has grown beyond repair and so you can't change any person rather than God. in this situation learn to flee away.
PoliticsRe: Will Rotational Presidency Solve Nigeria's Political Problems? by yonybanta(m): 11:57am On Sep 14, 2009
Rotational presidency is one of the nonsense in political system. why will we be talking of rotational in election? are we not saying that even if a person wins and he is not from the stipulated zone should be rigged?

There should be nothing like rotational in Presidencial election, rotation is only relevant in appointment or senatorial and house of representative in-house election of their various positions.

all we need is credible people whether from minority tribe or majority tribe to move us to another level of development.

Calling Pastor E. A Adeboye to lead the prayer in the U.N Headquarters is the indication that the world has started realizing their need for God.

I'm happy with the way Pastor E. A Adeboye talk to them.
PoliticsRe: Police, SSS, Immigration Hunt Ribadu Over 'False Asset Declaration' by yonybanta(m): 11:17am On Sep 14, 2009
why is Yar'Adua weak at tackling Ribadu's enemies? . Must he allowed people like Aondoka to bring their personal clashes into governance.

our attorney is a threat to Anti graft - war in Nigeria.

why is this administration allowing the people who have labour for this country to be treated as criminal. Let this be made known to all our leaders who are fighting Ribadu that we Nigerian are against them.
CultureRe: Bachelors In Kano Go Into Hiding As ''Bachelor Hunter'' Goes On Prowl by yonybanta(m): 10:24am On Sep 14, 2009
Is amazing that despite the alarming rate of illiteracy, poverty and low standard of living in the north, some people are still forcing others into marriage which will only result into giving birth to children that cannot be trained in school but teach them Hawking from year 5 till old age.

such cultures of forcing people to mary in order to avoid immorality in society will be very relevant in 19 - 20 century but not in this complex, computerize, technological accelerated 21 century which renders illiterates as an ordinary slaves. The man/woman whose mindset is fixed on doing evil (abominations) can still indulge into it even though he/she is marry
PoliticsRe: Former Attorney General Of Canada's Largest Province Charged With Manslaughter by yonybanta(m): 1:28pm On Sep 03, 2009
this is how people should be responsible for their actions irrespective of their positions in the society. such things can not happen in Nigeria. Here in Nigeria the wealthy control the police and if such happen police will make sure the perpetrator escape without prosecution as long as he payed them.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua's Wife Turai Is Fighting For A Second Term by yonybanta(m): 9:09am On Sep 03, 2009
I think this is time for Nigeria to decide whether Yar'Adua should return or not, having looked at the level of stagnancy the country is experiencing under his administration.

Let Nigerians get rid of the mentality of staying away from politics thinking P.D.P will always do their mischief, whenever we come out in number and it is visible from every point that he did not win, he would have no option than to quit just as what happen in Zimbabwe and Kenya.

As for Turai, she loves power and fame than the life of her husband. she knows how critical his health is but still persuade him to re-contest for 2nd term, this is pure wickedness, may God deliver me from such wife!
EducationRe: ASUU's Open Letter To Mr President by yonybanta(m): 8:49am On Sep 03, 2009
The continuation of strike in the administration of the first graduate president of Nigeria indicate that this administration is incapable of delivering democratic dividend to its citizen despite the educational achievement of the president, since he cannot handle education which is the fundamental block on his achievement of vision 2020.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Remains The Best! by yonybanta(m): 5:36pm On Aug 20, 2009
Obj is truly the best Nigeria have ever had, look at anti-corruption war he started and compare it with the unmovable administration of Yar'adua, look at how the reforms which was reviving virtually all the sectors in our country, consider the debt obj had counciled, what about FCT, pension reform and financial sector what about Education reforms under the captain of Ezekwesili.

PoliticsRe: Is Clinton Really Unfair To Efcc? by yonybanta(m): 11:01pm On Aug 14, 2009
instead of Senate President, Farida and P.D.P leaders to be ashamed of themselves and take caution of the challenges that awaits them, they rather come out making some unreasonable, and irresponsible comment simply because their failed administration is been challenged and questioned by Hilary.

It is not hiding to Nigeria that this administration has achieved nothing especially in the area of anti-graft war (anti-corruption war). So for somebody to say that such comment of Hilary originated from misinformation is not true, whether she mention it or not, we all know that such comment is true.
PoliticsRe: 1 Million March Protest Against Power Failure (phcn) In Nigeria by yonybanta(m): 5:10pm On Aug 01, 2009
Lets be sincere with ourselves, this action can only result into bloodshed with nothing to sure for at the end. imaging what is happening in the Niger Delta where the fighting for community interest is no more going on but fighting and kidnapping for personal interest. The Niger Delta militant actions was originally a fight to put an end to incessant oppression and domination by the few rich but it has become another thing entirely simply because some people among the militants are not actually going there for their community interest but for their personal gain.

If you dare this in Nigeria today, those people in power will declare you as a terrorist because some people among you will consider it an opportunity to loot rather than fighting the course you have agreed upon. This same action have been successful in many country because the people there are very sincere with themselves, they make up their mind with a sense of patriotism to fight for their national interest not as in the case with Nigerian where almost everybody is mindful of his selfish interest. in fact some among you will lick the plan to the bigmen (badmen) which will result to your arrest and the people you're targeting will flee the country in a moment .

PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Bashing: Have Your Say! by yonybanta(m): 9:23am On Jul 15, 2009
Obasanjo administration has nothing to do with bashing, i wander why some people are so negative about OBJ. When you critically observe the people OBJ invited to serve in his administration you will know that the old man meant well for the country. what about his various reforms reforms in different sectors, what about the national debt he pay off, what about FCT, what about anti-graft war.

The plane crashes that happen in Nigeria during OBJ was not as the result of his administration failure, after all from the beginning of this year there has been series of plane crashes in the developed nations of the world since they have efficient governance why can't they control them from occurring.

For the third term bid, rather than wasting our years doing nothing in this Yar'Adua regime, the continuation of Obj regime with his reforms and his different developments will be better of. But that does not mean that Obj is perfect, lets be sincere to ourselves the old man has tried for Nigeria. In fact he is the best president Nigeria has ever had considering his achievements. Ponder upon it!
PoliticsRe: Obama In Nigeria, Oh Sorry, Ghana! by yonybanta(m): 8:29am On Jul 15, 2009
why are you guys disturbing yourselves with things that makes no meaning? Ghana was not the place Obama visited first in Africa, he first visited Egypt before Ghana. why must we compete ourselves with Ghana if we know that we are better than them, conducting free and fair election alone cannot make Ghana better than us, after all Nigeria have had free and fair election in 1966 and 1983.

Please let think of better things to do in order to improve our country further than wasting our time discussing something which will not benefit us.
Foreign AffairsRe: The Great Nation Of Biafra by yonybanta(m): 10:52am On Jul 14, 2009
Please rather than advocating for Sovereign nation of Biafra now lets consider how prepared is Biafrans. lets consider how prepared you are to be on your own, lets consider your lifestyles and the social vices that will characterized Biafra's nation if your current lifestyle is not taking care of.

For those who are pushing you for this cause, let them promise you whether they will fight to the end. The Civil War that resulted from the splitting of Korea into North and South Korea was fought by the agitator from the beginning to the end, Mandela fought to the end for South African to end apartheid rule but the civil war in Nigeria was to the detriment of the poor people in the proposed Biafra nation. Ojukwu and his Cohorts run away leaving the poor at the receiving end. For those of you who are making all sort of noice about this Biafra, be sure that there is a lot of challenges involves in it including some of you loosing your lives. Are you prepared?
