Car Talk › Re: Newly Restored 1979 Peugeot 504. by youngice(m): 4:10pm On Sep 03, 2015 |
Siena: It's not a GL. The GL was never fitted with this dash, this was fitted to the GR and SR.
The chrome around the window frames is a bit of a puzzle. It was unique to the GL, but the GL went further with broader chrome trim round the front and rear screens. Early L models also had the broad chrome trim round the front and rear screens too, though the door class lacked the same treatment.
This trim was fitted to GR, SR and GLS 2000 models. The side trim was fitted to SR and GLS 2000 models, but they were only available in metallic paint finishes.
I would say this is a GR model, with bits from other models added. It looks pretty good too, if a 504 like this came up for sale in the UK or Europe, I would not hesitate to snap it up. please ,How do you know so much about vehicles ,did you study automobile engineering And from your posts on nl I've observed that you are always spot on because when I read a comment I research to ascertain if the reply is legit or fabricated and so far you haven't disappointed How do you do it

Lordave: No, you don't know what we're talking about 'here'!
He's an artiste actually, but is he as versatile as you portray him to be?
Mind you, we're talking about movies here, his acting prowess should be the most talked about. the ease with which he jumps from genially dissimilar roles, like from an action hero to a comic to an emotional wreck should lay emphasis on my conclusion |

Serves as a reminder that even our heroes are imperfect, Our Yoruba brothers won't want to hear that the great Awo had his flaws Our igbo brothers will rather die than admit that Ojukwu was anything less than perfect Even the Hausa's will go Bonkers if any negative reference is made towards Sir Ahmadu bello Well all men have flaws |

temmym4: SPECIAL NOTICE!
THIS GOES TO SOME PEOPLE READING THIS THREAD, EITHER YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER OR AN AMATEUR (ESPECIALLY THE TEENS) INTENDING TO TRY SOME OF THE SPEED POSTED HERE.
NEVER SHOULD YOU BELIEVE EVERY POST YOU READ IN HERE!
I read a Physical friend's post in this section last Month where he stated his highest speed he attained was above 180km/hr whereas he has never turned On a car ignition ever before (I know he is currently reading this now)
A Man who drives at the speed of 300KM/H on a typical Nigerian road has a very slim chance of holding a camera and/or snapping his own dashboard as his whole attention is on the road and his two hands on the steering wheel, busy diving (overtaking at this speed is an understatement) from other vehicles at the front.
Na only you dey road abi vehicle no come for your front? even professional car racers gets to make plans for a road clear or the race done on a professional race pitch. Too much movies dey worry some people, Keep trying what you watched on "Fast and Furious" on Naija road. God help u if u end up handicapped for the rest of your life or worse still, kick a very hot and heavy bucket.
OTHER UPCOMING LIARS WHO ARE ALREADY THINKING OF MAKING THE NEXT COMMENT. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: I know everyone wants to feel special once a while, we all understand, but please, for the sake of others reading your post and wants to give it a trial, try Minor lies, (that is if you want to lie at all). If they end up committing suicide at the expressway due to your post, then am afraid their blood is on your head
Life is Sweet and Simple, when you die, you are done, you dont get to come back. people will only cry for some moments and live on.
The best driver is the one who takes a car out and brings it back safely! succesfuly!!. one very cold bottle of orijin and a plate on nigerian Jollof with fresh fish for you |
