Yorubas are the most enlightened people in Nigeria. We vote based on our personal convictions. I support apc while majority of my family members support pdp. Oyo just voted out apc when they believed Ajimobi failed. If not for rigging, pdp won osun both in the governorship and presidential elections. Ondo May vote pdp in the coming election. Nigeria would be a better place if all the regions vote like the sw. So nobody should expect Yorubas to vote in one direction.
Can you also give us statistics of 2015 election

I believe it is high time we begin to open up our political space for foreigners who have acquired the Nigerian citizenship through birth or marriage to participate in our national politics. It is apparent that ethnicity has been an hindrance to our national growth and development, however the involvement of people of other nationality will certainly create the window for innovative ideas that will turn around the socio economic fortunes of our dear nation.

Inarguably, the Nigerian manufacturing and extractive sector is largely dominated by Indians and Chinese who act as big players in the industry. Similarly, it is an established fact that the team of most manufacturing companies owned by Nigerians are equally dominated by foreigners. Unfortunately, it never deemed appropriate for state governors to appoint these foreign technocrats into their cabinet as Commissioner for commerce and industries rather such public offices are offered to charlatans who recommended by some perceived godfathers. The future of Nigeria can only be transformed until the political space is open up for innovative and creative ideas.
You never play tribal politics finish na to open space for foreigners
PoliticsDickson Plotting To Take Rivers’ Oil Wells, Says Wike by Youngmaster0(op): 10:44am On Dec 13, 2019
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on Thursday accused his Bayelsa State counterpart Governor Seriake Dickson of “sneaking” into River State to cause disaffection under the pretense of visiting the Amanyanabo of Kalabari, King Theophilus J.T. Princewill.

The governor, who spoke during a solidarity visit by the Kalabari people to the Government House, Port Harcourt, warned the monarch against allowing himself to be used to promote divisiveness.

He said it was regrettable that the Amanyanabo of Kalabari allowed his palace to be used by the Bayelsa State governor for a sinister motive.

The governor said: “You can see how people are trying to divide a state. A fellow Governor would come from somewhere to create division.”

According to him, the Bayelsa State governor, who professesed love for Ijaw people in Rivers State, has been busy working to take the state’s oil resources in Soku and Kula.

He said: “Already, we have gone back to court in relation to Soku oil wells. This is the man who is claiming Kula oil wells and Soku.

“I have gone back to court and we will reclaim the Soku Oil Wells for Rivers State. This is the same man you claim loves you and you roll out drums against protocol.”

Reiterating that the Amanyanabo of Kalabari will be sanctioned “if he continues the acts of division”, Wike said: “If any of such things happen again, I will take the necessary action. I will not listen to any further excuse, that is why I am saying this publicly. Tell him to respect constituted authority.

“It is not good for anyone to come and divide Rivers State, because the state is one. It is unfortunate what my colleague did. I handed him over to God and prayed for God to do his will.”

He commended the peace initiative of the Amanyanabo of Abonnema and urged other royal fathers to emulate him.

“I thank the Amanyanabo of Abonnema for his peace initiative. I urge other traditional rulers to emulate him. Work towards peace amongst your people. You cannot live where there is no peace.

“It is impossible to have governance without peace. So, you need peace in your domain.”

The governor urged the Kalabari leaders to prevail on King Princewill against yielding himself a willing tool for external forces to create disunity in the state.

He said: “I want to publicly lay a complaint on the action of Amayanabo of Kalabari. The next time it happens, I will act as a governor. The Amanyanabo of Abonnema didn’t do it, he called me on phone when the governor of Bayelsa, Dickson tried to create problems in Rivers State.”

According to him, the Bayelsa governor visited the state without getting in touch with the relevant authorities, under the guise of coming to see Ijaw people.”

Wike said: He (Dickson) said he was coming to see Ijaw people in Rivers State and he would be hosted by the Amayanabo of Kalabari and Amayanabo of Abonnema.

“The Amanyanabo of Abonnema called me and said how can that be? The Rivers State Governor did not call me. The Amanyanabo of Kalabari did not call me. What he did was to roll out drums to receive the Bayelsa State governor.”

He threatened that should the Amanyanabo of Kalabari take such illegal action in future, he will face sanctions.

“That day I would have removed him, but I held myself. What they would do is to go to Radio and abuse me. But I am used to insults. I am trying to complain to you people,” Wike said.

But the Bayelsa State Commssioner for Information, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, declined comment on the allegation against his principal, who was said to be away to Abuja.

Iworiso-Markson told our reporter that an official response will be given today.

The Amanyanabo of Kalabari, who is a former Chairman of the Rivers Council of Traditional Rulers and a first-class monarch, could not be reached yesterday for comment.

His son Prince Tonye Princewill told The Nation that the monarch was receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt, the state capital., according to Prince Princewill, a former governorship candidate and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in a telephone interview from Abuja, shortly after he left Port Harcourt, doubted if the governor actually threatened to sanction his father.

He said: “What is wrong in my father, the Amanyanabo of Kalabari Kingdom, receiving in his palace (at Buguma-Kalabari, the headquarters of Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State), a fellow Ijaw man, who is the Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson?”

For those of you that don't know history, the ikwerres were never Ibo, they have always been unique and traced their lineage to the great Bini kingdom. You can argue about it and choose not to believe but an Ikwerre man is very proud of his heritage and can never be a second class citizen.

forget the grammar tell me where you don't understand let me explain

I was trying to tell you that the igbiod groups in Rivers might be the majority if they unit for political reasons,
but they are not united, the ikwerre igbo do things separately from the epkeye igbo ,as long as politics is concerned every tribe or ethnic group in Rivers state fight for the position of governer, the majority are the ogonis, kerebari and the ikwerre Igbo , epkeye Igbo don't unit with the ikwerres , the ekpeye Igbo has been complaining of marginalizion since after the civil war,

so wike was talking about Rivers state politics simple
You don't even know Rivers state politics.. Do you think Ikwerres can elect there's elves as governor, they are minority tribe to compare to ogoni and kalabari.. Yet the past four governors of rivers state are from Ikwerres, why? Bcus the rely on the vote on igbos for SE to keep occupying that position..

Igbo's in rivers will rather vote for ikwere man than ogoni and kalabari people..

Also note the past four governors of rivers state from Ikwerre extraction married from south eastern states, not even one married from other tribes in rivers or so called south south or niger delta

No part of the present Delta state was included in Biafra too.
That some Efiks/Ibibios and Igbos from Delta state fought for Biafra then shouldn't give you a feeling that the people support Biafra, they were the same people who were showing the Nigerian soldiers where Igbos were living in their territory when the FG forces invaded and several Igbos were killed.
Useless yoruba liar, then why the Asaba massacre, what was Nzeogwu kaduna fighting for?.
