Education › Re: Are You Interested In Moderating This Section? by Youngsage: 9:58am On Sep 07, 2012
Odunnu: Distinguished Nairalanders,
Here comes another opportunity to serve as a moderator in Nairaland.
The Education section needs a Moderator to assist in enforcing the rules of the board and the forum. So,

- Have you read the rules & regulations guiding this forum?

-Are you willing to abide and enforce them strictly?

- Are you Passionate about this section (do you post/visit often)?

- Do you Spend enough time online daily?

-Are you level-headed and willing to take instructions from the Admin?

If you answered 'YES' to these questions and you wish to be a part of this team, please say so here.
Thank you.
Yes. I would gladly love to offer an assisting hand to the present moderators hence offering my skills, service and time to Education board of Nairaland , {which happens to be one of my favourite boards here} to aid its advancement and betterment for us all. I promise to abide by all the rules and regulations, and also to enforce them as deemed fit and appropriate. So help me God.
I hope my application is considered as i look forward to serving and working with you all. Thanks.
Education › Re: Lodge Your Complaints/Comments Here by Youngsage: 9:27am On Sep 07, 2012
Hii Odunnu and the other moderators. Hope you all are cool.
I want to make this suggestion: that a seperate section, a sub- section of the education board of nairaland should be created for all matters related to admissions, into tertiary institutions, etc.
I have noticed that the education board is mostly flooded with postutme diploma, etc threads, making it difficult to access other relevant topics. This won't be the case if there is a section like jambites, etc, and education board will become more interesting for us all. Thanks.
Education › Re: His School Gave Him 2.2 Instead Of 2.1 - Please Honest Advice Needed by Youngsage: 7:51am On Sep 07, 2012
uboma: let him get a good lawyer and sue the school for deliberately refusing to correct their error after 2yrs. He will make good money frm the legal suit
#GBAM. Imagine such an error, that might have cost him some good job opportunities, the school deserve to be sued.
bukahands: Collect ur transcript first ooo if u decide to sue so ur results won't be tempered with, the transcript will b an evidence and pray about it too
I agree with you @ O.P i believe dis is good advice

kael: London opening ceremony.... I tot I was watching a children's play, eve Nigeria could pull off something better. It completely pales in comparison to Beijing. Adin there is no basis of comparison. The dancers looked disorientated and unsynchronized.maybe Danny Boyle tot he was making a movie... Too many close up shots it was too individualistic. And too much joyful dancing and singing for opening ceremony.. It meant to be at the closing ceremony. But I give it to them for not even trying to compete with beijings £200mil budget
agreed

Patsey: YOUR COMMENTS SEEMINGLY LACK DECORUM. ENDEAVOUR TO MEASURE YOUR REACTIONS.
It's obvious you're grossly demented. As such, you definitely have no comprehension of the English language. I never addressed any of my comments to you, did I? You need to be educated
