Dear nairalanders, I can't but just laugh when I read some reply on this thread.... but honestly...some issues demand seriousness from us....its sad to see a graduate trading his/her four, five and some seven years hard earned course just to end up somewhere else....I'm a graduate of Zoology with a Master's degree...we have equal opportunity to get well paid and proud job just like any other courses in Nigeria tertiary instituitions. The key factor is your grade,....you can work in any sector of the economy. but if you choose to defend your course and make a living out of it just like me...feel free send me a mail info@agrowealthng.com |
Honestly, I'm thrilled by the writeup and equally agree with so many views. My take..what is the cost of invention? Our problems as a nation must be tacled whollystically and not in isolation. Many questions to ask...do we as a people encourage idealist...I bet to say NO! do we believe in what we can invent, do we support ideas that can lead to invention..let us leave the government out....the great inventors we know of, how many got their funding from their respective government...how many were actually educated in formal education.....not to say no education....they got the necessary support from friends, families, those who believed in them....we need healing in this country...like the saying "few people makes things happen, many watch things happen"...I wish to go on and on but honestly we need to come together and make things work. Thanks |
There are three set of characters that are indispensable in achieving business success. The Idealist The funder and The worker. WhIch is/are you? |
Many individuals aspire to go into farming but they are limited by so many challenges and doubts. Farming is indeed the bedrock of agriculture but like every other practices it comes with a lot of responsibilities. For so long it has been a one man affair and this has contributed to the under development and slow growth of the sector compare to other sectors such as Telecommunication, Oil and gas, Tourism and hospitality, Aviation, Banking sector, etc. Regretablly, the agric sector is seen as a high risk sector with high capital investment over other sectors......this is indeed unfortunate....every other sector has far more high risk with more capital investment...... The question therefore is why is it still unattractive to the youths and investors? Watch out for info on our upcoming "Executive Discussion Forum" as we unveil our plans in providing a solution platform. First fifteen emails address received shall qualify for a free participation. Watch out! Watch out!! Watch out!!! |

It is sad to discover that the" borrow me credit" introduced by some network provider has not only shown to be an act of civilised extortion but also a cruel business idea to continually impoverish the poor masses who have taken their fate to selling retail recharge cards. As much as the reason behind the idea may support tech advancement, the question is are their measure to prevent acts of saboteur where some fraudulent Nigerians now intentionally borrowed credit and later patronise a recharge card retailer to load an equivalent amount just to discover the card pin was not credited. Many in defence reload the recharge card showing invalid pin,etc leaving the retailer to part with a loss he/she cannot even make has a profit on twenty pieces of such cards. Dear fellow nairalanders, this promo of "borrowed credit" must stop or a security measure put in place to protect the retailer that has to survive through this means. Kindly help forward this to save the lives of many Nigerians leaving below the poverty line but survives on retail recharge cards. Thanks and God bless. |
