Correct! You so on-point. My GF is a 'chronic' introvert too, na inside room mostly. But her 'brainy IQ' complements for her 'terrible social skills'....lolz. One wierd tin about you, Introverts dat I noticed be say: U learn 'complex skills' with ease.

I think me na 'ambivert' sha..... lolz
It's just a gift. Not every introvert can do that. But as per your introvert GF, you better treat her right cos you don't know the arsenal you have...above all try to complement her and watch her die for you.
FamilyRe: Introverts Lounge (Extroverts Pls Keep Off !!) by younowell:
Hello my fellow introverts. Trust y'all bubbling on a low key.
As for those hating on their introvert personality all I could say is that leading a successful introvert is not an easy job as a lot of work is required. First, you just have to love yourself no matter what. Second, you have to be highly discipline as knowing when to walk, talk, quiet, socialize, refrain, etc. Third, you just have to force yourself in doing some certain things even if not convenient and doing such sometimes will require external force either through prayers, alcohol or strong will.
A lot of time as an introvert you constantly have battles within yourself or the outside world, but gradually as one get older in life especially when you now have tones of responsibilities , then you will realize that, one of the secret to winning in life's just for you to be a flexible introvert.

Hmmm... Something else brought me to family section and I stumbled on this thread.Ever since I have stuck reading from page 1-161. It is so amazing seeing yourself from other people's ways of live and this only make wonder about these wonderful God creature called introvert.I'll like to appreciate the brain behind this thread and those who have contributed so far in order to impact knowledge.

Now let me first relate with other people description of themselves on this thread;
- Do I imagine figures in scales of 0-09,10-19 etc Answer-Yes.
- Do I love doing things on my own.Answer-Yes.
-Do I like keeping to myself.Answer-Yes.
-Can I stay indoors for months.Answer-Yes.
-Do I like noise.Answer-No; Can't even tolerate sound of a generator.
-Do I like snooping on people behind my window curtain.Answer-Yes.
etc. I can tell there are so many people like me on this thread and I feel belong.

Due to my seclude nature. I could remember in my teenage years,i do see things that will happen to me in some few years and this can be either bad or good things.Even as an adult sometimes I still see things that if I should share some people wouldn't just believe because they may consider it a mere speculation.

For example,i woke up sometime January 2011 and I was feeling gloomy and sad to the extent that I almost started shedding tears; reason was that I saw Whitney Houston death in my dream and I woke up being sad.So the following years February 2012 when she was pronounced dead I was not moved. This same with my mum,i just went in trance then seeing her Leaving us to great beyond and the following year too she was no more! Her own case was due to old age though.Sometimes I usually have witness within me of either good or bad things that are about to happen and especially to family or close friends.

I am just like a book that you can't get to judge by it cover.I can be so funny and boring to people sometimes but by and large I can risk my life for whosoever that is dear to me. Let me stop for now.

Note:I am neither Pastor,Prophet or Alfa. I am just a good Christian.

It is not possible. God created beauty in diversity and vice versa. The reason why black people bleach is because humans are insatiable. God created greed so it's normal for us to desire what we do not possess.
Agreed. Can you just imagine that's possible? Your opinion.

I was in Lagos transit early this week and I was just thinking how beautiful God made us black but still, you will find some people bleaching and altering their skin colour.
However, altering of skin colour is not my main concern here. Let us just imagine a world that once used to have Black race now suddenly without one, either through artificial or super natural occurrence.
I, for once think the world will just be like a body without a leg!

So guys what do y'all think?

TravelMamoudou Gassama: Mali 'spiderman' To Be Made French Citizen by younowell(op): 12:11pm On May 28, 2018
A Malian migrant, hailed as a hero after mounting a daring rescue to save a small boy dangling from a balcony in Paris, is to be made a French citizen.

Mamoudou Gassama won widespread praise after climbing the outside of the building to save the four-year-old.

Video showed him being cheered on by spectators as he pulled himself from balcony to balcony to the fourth floor.

After meeting him at the Elysee Palace, President Emmanuel Macron said he would be made a naturalised citizen.

He personally thanked Mr Gassama, gave him a medal for courage and said he would also be offered a role in the fire service.

Mr Gassama is said to have arrived in France last year, taking the long and dangerous journey to Europe via a boat over the Mediterranean to Italy.

The drama that thrust him to fame unfolded on Saturday evening on a street in the north of the city.

Mr Gassama said he had been walking past when he saw a crowd gathered in front of the building.

He told Mr Macron: "I just didn't have time to think, I ran across the road to go and save him.

Christianity EtcRe: Givers Embassy: Abuja Church Where Tithes And Offerings Are Not Allowed by younowell: 1:41pm On Aug 10, 2017
paschu:
Abraham's payment of tithe was recorded once in the entire old testament. This implies that he paid his tithe voluntarily and by God's leading - just like when he sacrificed Isaac. It was not compulsory. Tithe did not become compulsory until the conquest of Canaan and the formal institutionalization of the Levitical Order and Aaronic Priesthood.

This Levitical Order coupled with the Aaronic Priesthood, was put aside by the death and resurrection of Christ. So there is no more need for daily burnt offerings and animal sacrifices. No more need for the PROFESSIONAL priesthood. This is actually why Paul said that he would rather die working with his hands than depend solely on the Church for survival.

Thus I found it curious when you claimed that Tithe is meant for the Church. Can you please prove that assertion scripturally without going out of context?

Please note that I am not in anyway asking anyone to stop paying tithe. But please take this from me, and write it down somewhere. What the Pastor in the OP is doing is the future of the church. That is the ONLY WAY the Church can survive the coming global Anti-Christ movement and large scale uprising against ALL FORMS OF ORGANIZED RELIGION.

The KIND OF PRACTICAL SACRIFICIAL LOVE which this Pastor is proclaiming now is the Church's LONE ticket to survival in the coming years. And you can take that to the Bank.

One more thing: The Pastor made a profound statement when he said that he cannot teach people that they have to bring money to church BEFORE God can bless them.

Friend that's the root of the matter. The idea that you have to STRUGGLE to EARN God's blessings for yourself is the biggest favor the Church is doing the anti-Christ spirit. As times goes on, Science and humanistic advancement in knowledge will make most of these things easily accessible to ALL with little or zero efforts. This commonalization of the so called blessings will make the current teachings of the Organized Church lose its present appeal. In fact this is already happening. And this is what the anti-Christ will capitalize on. The only counter we have is the message of PRACTICAL LOVE (which the OP is proclaiming) and making sure that the Church people start using their minds and embracing real education.

Again, the only thing that will prevent the rich, weak or poor church members from embracing the lure of anti-Christ is a timely eradication of the spirit of Selfishness (which is the root of greed and every other evil) and prompt enthronement of the CULTURE OF PRACTICAL LOVE - just as the first disciples did. This is why Jesus said that the only way the world would know that He is with us is when we love each other the way he had loved us and died for us while we were still sinners.

The Church of the end time will congregate in tiny circles of influences at homes, work/market places and in the streets. It's not going to be at the cathedrals and huge auditoriums as usual.

Professional priesthood is already loosing credibility, soon it will lose influence.
Damn! You fu#king nailed it..respect man!!

2. CassavaRepublic Press www.cassavarepublic.biz

This is what Cassava Republic Press' refreshing and engaging website have to say about the intecontinental brand:

We set up Cassava Republic in 2006, after a few years of contemplation and planning. African writers were being increasingly published and read overseas, with little knowledge or availability of this new wave of talent in Nigeria. The conversation about African writing was taking place elsewhere. Something had to be done.

Seven years later, we are a small but established publishing brand, with a reputation for bringing out high quality fiction and non-fiction for adults and children alike.

Our mission is to change the way we all think about African writing. We think that contemporary African prose should be rooted in African experience in all its diversity, whether set in filthy-yet-sexy megacities such as Lagos or Kinshasa, in little-known rural communities, in the recent past or indeed the near future. We also think the time has come to build a new body of African writing that links writers across different times and spaces.

It's therefore the right time to ask challenging questions of African writing - where have we come from, where are we now, where are we going? Our role is to facilitate and participate in addressing these questions, as our list grows. We are still just beginning.

Good job, Cassava Republic.

1 Bookcraft Limited -www.bookcraftafrica.com

A friend of mine was saying the other day that Wole Soyinka must have bought a larger percentage of Bookcraft Limited since the company publishes all of his latest titles.

BOOKCRAFT has done well for themselves and the publishing industry, providing upcoming publishing houses the necessary template. What we like about the company? If there is one thing we are eulogizing the firm for, it is their taste of quality which exudes in the packaging and presentation of all of their titles.

Established in Nigeria over twenty years ago, BOOKCRAFT has published a large number of titles in a wide variety of subjects art; biography; history; literature; politics; current affairs; for a growing market of discerning, sophisticated and well educated bibliophiles.

BOOKCRAFT has over the years established a distinctive presence in the book market, the uniquely-packaged, reader-friendly design of our books, quickly becoming an instantly recognizable trademark. Well done, BOOKCRAFT.Congratulations.
