I started living in off campus lodge in finally year... I needed to concentrate on my studies and run away from distractions at home... Na so I choose My 100level padi oh.... Didn't know my guy na Green snake.....
We started living together January.... He came with food stuffs, I came with over 300% of what he came with.... Na so we begin chop life nah...
When food finished ... Na me dey bring food because I travel home every weekend, When am going back to the lodge, my Mama go give me plenty soup and stew, My boy Dey chop 2 or 3meats on a plate of food from the stew and soup my mama gave me, when I confronted him... he said they don't eat with one meat in their house but this guy no bring shishi, he no travel from January to December..... I had to start eating with 4meats at a time.... I even told my mom to put just 4meats... If I come back... I eat 3 at a time and leave 1 for him.
If food finish... Baba go dey chop indomie back to back.... If I comot.... He will use my beverages... Anytime he informs me that his cousins or galfriends are coming..... I go make sure say I finish the available food for house , then I go comot go family house.

I even Jammed another one again during my Nysc....

Same character and stupid lifestyle.... I endured again till he left 4months after....

From previous Looting of my Niece on this particular account...
We interrogated the House help who is almost same age with my niece... We found out that my niece had a spare key which she uses to open the wardrobe where the ATM card was kept... And withdraws the money via POS at will.

Finally we found the Criminal (My 14 years old Niece) and her accomplice (Our 15 years old House help).
They House help saved 10k out of the money but my beloved niece Used hers to buy clothes, do make up and snap pictures at photo studio plus other orishi rishi she was wasting the money on for almost two years.

My best guess is that it's an inside job.

Recently bank staffs have become more criminally minded. Just last month one called me and asked me to resend a pin he'll send me to the MTN number he called me with and claimed to be from my bank called my 3 names, my account number and asked for my card details that he wants to upgrade my account cos my bvn name and account name doesn't tally.

I asked him one simple question he couldn't answer...why will a bank call a customer with an MTN line. Don't they have a land line or can't they send me an email or text message like they always do? He hung up.

Truth is most people (and most likely your sister) might have innocently given out those vital information making it easy for the criminals to gain access into that account. Cos no criminal can gain access into your account without you assisting them in one way or the other.

This account is linked to my mother's number... My sister has no access to the phone number because she is in the UK and my mother is bigger than bank call Scams.

5. To be frank bro, I feel you did this and are trying to indirectly know how you will be caught or get away with it

1. When I travel, My niece withdraws from the account on my mother's request... She is a second suspect after the bank shaa cos she did sumtin suspicious with that card in the past.

ATMs have a limit to dispense at once and I'm certain it's not even up to a 100k.

For an account with 418k you got an insufficient funds reply??

Your story doesn't add up unless You can clarify these.

Somebody must have gotten those card details someway or another and been running the card until it stopped working... the fact that you barely use it and don’t have online access or get alerts made it all the way worse... However I am curious as to why your sister doesn’t get email alerts even if she doesn’t get texts or have online access... No one should be that carefree about an account anywhere in the world... And if she doesn’t receive email alerts or texts or have the phone number or email registered to that account, to be completely honest, I do not think the bank would be able to do anything to help you because they would need to verify that she is the account holder and it would go beyond a phone call, but they would be able to send the statement to the email registeredh on the account. Your mums next of kin status means nothing especially cuz the account holder is still very much alive. Get the statement and go from there, however I hate to break it to you but there is no way you’d be able to recover that money bro... I lost close to 300k like this via GTB, all I saw on my statement was Flutterwave LANG* this was Feb 2019, till today I never see my money collect...

Best you can do is get the statement so you know where and how the funds were taken for closure... It’s possible someone got those card details when you used it last publicly

The phone wasn't stolen...
Infact.. my mother travelled to the UK last year... She just came back this September and she locked up that phone in her room b4 she travelled, it was also intact when she came back Plus the fact that I personally transfered 200k into that account last month(October)..

So, I don't think it's about that phone number

I have a Sister who lives in the UK and occasionally deposites money into her Nigerian First Bank Savings account for over 10years now.

I visited the ATM this morning to withdraw some cash for my Mother via my said Sister's ATM card but I got the shock of my life when I saw INSUFFICIENT FUND displaced.

I Thought it was an error, So I checked the Balance of the Account which was supposed to be over NGN4million but NGN 418.09k was all that's left in the account.

Note: She doesn't receive alert on that account, she doesn't use Ussd, she doesn't use Mobile App.
We only operate on the account via That ATM card which is always locked away by My Mother.

Please, Who know the steps to identify the cause of this and possible rectification.

We don't know what to do because the account owner is currently in the UK.
