Hilda Dokubo continues to demand justice for 20-year-old man sentenced to 1 year in prison over Imo Commissioner's 's3x tape' scandal

A 20-year-old school leaver, Peter Nwoke was recently arrested and imprisoned for leaking a video of the lawyer and Federal Commissioner of Imo State Office of Public Complaints Commission.

The 12-second video suggested that the appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari had a party, but the convict admitted that he superimposed Amadi's picture on a background with a sex scene.

Hilda in a video posted on January 25, insisted that this can never happen as such technology does not exist. The entertainer who noted that she has been in the industry since 1992 and has moved from being an actress to being a director, wondered how much might have been given to the 20-year-old man as ''compensation'' for him to'' jeopardize his future.'' and admit to have done such a thing.

In a new video she posted, Hilda is demanding a further investigation into the case as she suspects the accused might have been forced to own up to a crime.

Zlatan Ibile reacts to DJ Cuppy’s blocking allegation, says he doesn’t know her (Video)

Nigerian singer, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, better known as Zlatan Ibile has finally responded to DJ Cuppy’s allegation that he blocked her on WhatsApp and Instagram.

Recall that popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy has in a Twitter post, revealed that to the Zanku crooner had blocked her and she wondered why.

Many fans, including the DJ had hoped for an immediate reply from Zlatan to her statement but he stayed mute, until recently when a video clip of a recent interview on Soundcity TV’s ‘The Switch’ showed the musician responding to the claims.

When asked why he blocked Cuppy, the Able God singer denied knowing her.

He replied;

“Is it cussibus? Is he an artiste? I don’t know who you are talking about.”

The duo collaborated on a song titled ‘Gelato’ in 2019 but they Zlatan appears to have fallen out with Cuppy due to reasons he is yet to disclose.

Wendy Williams took a swipe at her ex-husband's alleged mistress on her show.

During the "Hot Topics" segment of her show, Wendy shared a clip from the documentary film "Wendy Williams: What a Mess!" Which is set to follow the premiere of "Wendy Williams: The Movie" this Sunday on Lifetime.

While introducing the documentary film, Williams took a moment to throw shade at her ex Kelvin's alleged mistress Sharina Hudson.

It was the first time she'd called out her ex-husband's alleged mistress by name on her show, and she didn't stop there.

So, after 22 years of marriage, Wendy filed for divorce in April 2019.

This month, Wendy Williams has said she has still not met Sharina's daughter, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I don't want to know her."

While Wendy expects to have to see Kevin in her life, including at their 20-year-old son's college graduation, she expects he won't be bringing Sharina or their daughter.

"His dad will always be his dad. I haven’t seen change in that way from him," she told ET on Tuesday, Jan 26. "But what I do see is my tolerance from afar to understand that he will be required to be at Kevin’s graduation from college, and he will be required to have better taste than to bring the side piece and the little girl."

Prophet Onyeze Jesus apologizes to Nigerians and Anambra State over viral video of him spraying money on naked men and women inside a river (video)

Prophet Onyeze Jesus has apologised to Nigerians and the Anambra State in particular for abusing Naira notes and sharing nude videos of people online.

It will be recalled that the Anambra State Government, had condemned the 'criminal and indecent' conduct of the prophet after a viral video showed him and his followers in a river at Nkpor, idemili Local Government Area of the state, where they bathed naked while he sprayed them with N50 notes. The State Government in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenement, Don Adinuba, said that Onyeze Jesus promotes superstitions and strife by telling his gullible followers that their misfortunes are caused by family members, relatives and business associates.

The statement also said that destruction of the naira notes by the pastor contravenes the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Act of 2007.

In an video posted on his official social media page, Prophet Onyeze said that his enemies and 'greedy pastors' have been using the viral video for propaganda and to threaten him.

In his words;

"But that's not why I am here. I am here to apologise to Nigerians and Anambra at large for using N50 Naira and spreading it on people that I am working. And also for showing unclothedness on social media. It is a mistake. I am not the one that posted it. People are managing my page. Immediately I noticed that, I deleted it. But before then some people have shared all of them."

"Those 50 Naira that I spread is not even up to N1000. But water did not carry all of them. Somebody down there is picking them. That work is ...if I spray the money, people down there pick it so shall all their lost blessings will be found. That is the meaning of that money that I spray. I cannot waste Nigerian money. I am not a bastard. I am not a coward. People are trying to use it to blackmail me."

Some naval officer have been spotted in a viral video celebrating the sack of Chief of Naval Staff, Ibok Ekwe Ibas.

Recall that the sack of the service chiefs was announced yesterday January 26. President Buhari also named their replacement as follows; Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.

In a video shared shortly after, some naval officers were seen celebrating the sack of the service chiefs. A voice in the background also confirmed this.

During their friendly ride together, Laycon spoke on the head injury he sustained and accused Joeboy of not being caring towards him.

You are a thief - DJ Switch slams Lagos state government over court order to auction 88 vehicles impounded from traffic offenders (video)

Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has slammed the Lagos state government over the order it recently secured from a mobile court to auction 88 cars seized from traffic offenders in the state.

On Monday, January 18, the Chairman of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit, CSP Shola Jejeloye, announced that the unit had secured a Court Order from the state mobile court authorising it to publicly auction the vehicles from residents found guilty of contravening the One-Way Traffic Law.  He disclosed that the public auction would hold in line with COVID-19 protocols on Wednesday, 20th of January, 2021, at the Agency's Car Park (Behind Shoprite), Alausa, Ikeja.

Reacting to this development, DJ Switch who gained international attention when she 'covered' the gunshot incident at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, slammed the state government for taking such an action when it could have fined the offenders or sent them to jail.

''I just read on the news that the Lagos State Environmental Unit through their inept and corrupt mobile court gave the order for peoples cars to be auctioned off, to be sold off. What happened to fines? Why can't you fine these people? Give them something to pay? What happened to minimum jail term? A weekend in jail? Community service? What happened to those options? You want to sell off ...You are a thief. Lagos state government is a thief. You are short of just carrying guns.  It is gun that is remaining for you. You are a thief. ''

The Sokoto Central Market was gutted by fire in the early hours of today January 19. 

Eyewitnesses alleged that the fire which started around 7am and is still raging, was caused by a generating set.

It was further gathered that men of the federal and State fire services are currently working to extinguish the fire which has already destroyed many shops.

Anambra First Lady, Mrs Obiano Flies to The US to Get COVID-19 Vaccine Shot (Video)

The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Ebelechukwu Osodieme Obiano, has received her first shot of COVID-19 vaccine.

Ebelechukwu Obiano took the vaccine in the United States.

The first lady was caught on camera while waiting in her car to receive the vaccine.

The Anambra State Government had last week denied reports making the rounds that Governor Willie Obiano and his wife, Ebelechukwu tested positive for the virus.

The report claimed that Obiano and his were infected with the virus after the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Governor; Mr Primus Odili who came from US to celebrate the Yuletide visited them.

The State has recorded 515 cases of COVID-19 since the outbreak in the country last year

Former housemates of Big Brother Naija Lockdown season, Kaisha and Lucy have left their fans worried following their recent encounter with some police officers.

The ladies were reportedly stopped by the officers for a search and it appeared things spiraled out of hand.

As the exchange was taking place, Kaisha started an Instagram live video to capture the incident and also show the world what was happening.

In the video, Kaisha could be heard screaming at the top of her voice as the police officer tried to talk to her. She claimed the officer had grabbed her arm and also touched her with his gun while describing his action as police brutality.

Lucy was also heard in the background saying she wants to record what was happening.

The IG live video also captured the moment an officer was talking to Lucy and faulting Kaisha for bringing out a phone to record.

A suspected ritualist den was uncovered on sunday January 17, opposite the University teaching hospital Ado Ekiti.

An elderly man was paraded by residents of the area as a suspect and some of the items found at the den include cheque books, human photos , wigs, horn, ATMs and other materials.

The suspect has reportedly been handed over to the police.

Nigerian couple cries out for justice after one of their twin daughters died due to alleged negligence at a General Hospital in Lagos (videos)

A Nigerian man, Imbul Dooyum Kelvin, and his wife, Mimidoo Rufina, are demanding justice after one of their two-month-old twin daughters, Zoe, died due to alleged negligence at the Randle Mother and Child hospital in Surulere, Lagos on Friday, January 15.

In a video that was shared online, the bereaved mother, Rufina, said she brought her child to the hospital for a routine checkup. She said the doctors told her to breastfeed her baby and she did and that while she was breastfeeding, she noticed her baby wasn't breathing.

She said she raised an alarm and instead of the nurses to attend to her, they allegedly sent her away, telling her that she was making noise. She said her baby died afterwards and that it was when her baby died that the nurses decided to attend to her.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are over. Multiple sources tell Page Six that “divorce is imminent” for the Hollywood couple, with Kardashian hiring divorce attorney to the stars, Laura Wasser.

“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” says a source. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”

Kim, 40, hasn’t been seen wearing her wedding ring, and Kanye, 43, remained at his $14 million Wyoming ranch over the holidays instead of spending it with the Kardashian klan, who drew criticism for their extravagant celebrations.

“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source continued.

The source added that while Kim has done much in the past to protect and help Kanye deal with his mental health struggles, “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot.

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Meanwhile, a separate source says Kanye, who became increasingly uncomfortable and irritated by the Kardashians’ over-the-top reality star lives, “Is completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them,” adding he eventually found their reality show “unbearable.”

The couple worked on the all-white, minimalist home with Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt. They reportedly paid $40 million for the house and spent $20 million on renovations.

The source said, “Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her, because that’s where the kids are based and growing up. That is their home.”

Explaining, “She owns all the land and adjoining lots around the house but Kanye owns the actual house. They’ve both put a lot of money into renovating it.”

The source added of the advanced settlement talks, “This isn’t the first time they’ve been talking about a split, but this time it is way, way more serious.”
