You were too much in haste over the matter. That duty payment is not for DHL but custom. The account you paid the duty money may be custom account making it difficult to retrieve the money. The best option is to buy the item back and request DHL to use the previous payment for the duty clearance. |

It's normal with free money. Any money you don't suffer to get, can be easily squandered. Who tells you that the remaining #1m will not be squandered by you. You need to suffer well to know how difficult it is to make money. After that, you can judiciously manage any money that enters your hand. Buy Okada with the #1m and start making daily income. |

Everything in Nigeria is always different. A very good professor should be financially independent, should earn well from his research works outside his salary. Why should a professor be lamenting when he can find solutions to numerous problems ravaging the country and turn the solutions to money. A lot of paper weight professors in Nigeria. |

emmasoft: Dollar mutual funds is just like any other mutual funds ie collection of funds for some specific investment in selected assets and managed by a professional (fund manager) in this case norrenberger. The difference between dollar fund and others is in the currency it's dominated in and the underlying assets. Dollar funds is dominated in dollar and the underlying assets is eurobonds. It's also in the meduim risk classification of investment by risk tolerance. The minimum holding period for NDF is 90 days. Unlike MMF that is 30 days.
