babyfaceafrica: Social distancing cannot work in Nigeria.. We are too communal for it to work!
Leadership should be by example. I have always known from the on set that Northerners will never adhere to this Social Distancing. Common laws seem to be meant for the Southerners in this country, yet nobody talks about it or caution them...One Naija Indeed.
What rubbish is this, are they playing out a movie or what...? I don't see the reason for this rubbish anyways. This guy is the biggest mumu I have ever seen. Must u propose in public...? It seems like we have forgotten our values in this country just because we want to copy oyinbo.
ultron12345: Rubbish Banks are private businesses which depend on performance to make profit to pay their staff, not government agencies which do nothing and receive allocation at the end of the month.
They want to infest the performance-driven private banking sector with their useless, unproductive, redundant and incompetent civil service attitude.
So if staff are misbehaving or unable to meet performance target, the bank can't sack them? They should keep paying incompetent and unproductive staff?
Rubbish I trust the banks will fight this or it will just be another paper law that wouldn't be enforced.
Anyone who can't perform should be booted out. If the bank can't pay you any longer, then it's better you're sacked than to keep you and be owing you salary for months while tarnishing their reputation.
In fact, the government civil service should be copying these banks. Every month, there should be Performance Review for in all government offices for all staff. Anyone unable to perform should be sanctioned and if he/she continues, should be booted out and more productive people employed.
No wonder they like government work, where they earn money without adding value, where they enter office by 10am, gist with their colleagues till 12pm while using their nonchalant attitude to frustrate the people their supposed to provide services to, then sleep till 2pm when they'll begin packing their bags to leave before 4pm. And at the end of the month, office will receive allocation and staff will receive salary for doing nothing. I've always said, the Nigerian Civil Service is the largest welfare scheme in this country, where free money is shared to unproductive people.
The person that wrote this thread is either a colossal fool or an unrepentant insensitive personae...
I have never seen a Nigerian so honest and factual like this monarch. He is really challenging the status quo and bringing up good ideas to the limelight. I wish our leaders will give him a better chance to turn things around in this country. The man seem to be wasting his talent as an Emir in Kano, for me he should be either a vice president or even the president of this country.
Injera: Too late. The damage already done. It is now crystal clear that we are under a dictator. And for the first time I regretted supporting Buhari. I thought he was coming to eradicate corruption or at least he will be reducing it. But sadly, Daura and kyari -men who were not given any mandate are the ones ruling. They have completely disempower the Vice president and are now brazenly ruling with impunity.
Bro u made a huge mistake by supporting a tyrant at the initial stage. I have always known since 2015 after the general elections that Naija has slid into the hands of a terrible dictator... Its only God that will deliver us.
EBMedia: Lauretta Onochie said that there was no evidence to show that DSS re-arrested Sowore as was reported.
She said:
WHO DRAMA EPP? EVERY LIE WILL EXPIRE. COURTROOM DRAMA EXPLAINED.
So it was a stage managed drama in the court yesterday; Sowore pinned down by his supporters in a courtroom in order to give DSS a bad name.
There was no gun. No batton. No pinning down. Just plain drama, planned and staged by his boys and girls. Kudos, but every lie has an expiration date.
Many EYEWITNESSES have said DSS was OUTSIDE the courtroom, not inside the courtroom.
Here's one more eyewitness account as reported by Adeniyi Adegbomire SAN-
A friend of mine, Wale Fapohunda, who was in court today when Sowore's re-arrest was purportedly effected inside the courtroom has this to say about the incident:
"Okay, so I was in court today and here is what happened.
The court had adjourned his matter till 11th Feb next year.
The court called the next matter and proceeding had commenced in respect of the next matter.
Sowore stepped OUT OF THE COURT ROOM and suddenly we heard noises coming from the corridor "leave me alone" "they want to kill me" "they want to kill Sowore" and all that.
Suddenly Sowore's people started dragging him with the DSS and they (Sowores team) dragged him into the court room.
The judge seeing this, rose and went to her chambers.
The DSS didn't enter the court room to arrest him rather his supporters dragged him in with the DSS official.
Nobody chased the judge out, she rose and went to her chambers on seeing squabbles.
The DSS official left the court room and waited for him outside the court.
Thank you all. Behold my eye witness account".
Blackmailing government enforcement agencies was how our nation went into decay. It wont work this time. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
It appears everyone in that drama was part of the drama club. They harassed a Court officer who wanted them out as they were disrupting another court case. A Lawyer who looked bemused with the whole drama was lost for words.
Drama has not helped Dino Melaye. It has not helped Olise Metuh. Drama has not helped Orji Uzo Kalu.
Drama will not help Sowore because Once you dramatise a lie to the members of the public to attract sympathy, you lose all of that sympathy when they find out you have misled them.
I'm also of the opinion that the police look into these videos, (I have watched four) and charge those who deliberately misled the general public on this issue.
Can u imagine the guts this girl has to grant interview as if Mamman Daura has equal rights with the President's immediate family in the Aso Rock Villa. This is complete nonsense!!!!
The reason why they gave it to mercy is because they want to play down on Tacha's popularity.
Tacha was never evicted from BBNAIJA.
Think about that.
Think about wat? Tacha should have been disqualified from that show since 3weeks ago i wonder why it was few days ago. That girl is a symbol of irresponsibility and arrogance.
