Who is next after spencer to bring in the Good news?... To my observation on this thread I realize we have a lot of prospective pple who announce their hopes of getting the TRV.. Its Anoda Monday-Friday of Anxiety as from tomorrow... God help us from the Hands of almighty CDHC... I just hope there is still no June Applicant waiting for CDHC.. Cos from my permutations its July batch now... Meanwhyl can't wait for August applicants medical call up to kick start, hope its gonna be this week..

Yes, i agree this is irresponsible, however, frustrations made me do that because dt was my last hope having being refused visa before in 2011 when i was given admission with funding worth CN$8,200, also having lost my banking job since few years ago and not employed up till now; and don't forget am married with kids and a wife. Life has never been easy, so i saw that as a way of escape for me and particularly to prepare a secured future for my innocent little kids. I have prayed to God to forgive me as i am not a person of such questionable character since my birth.

Pls this is just a warning to people who engage in submitting fraudulent docs to the embassy... Those VO's are trained to detect any compromised docs.. No mata wat it is!..was jubilating wit my buddy yesterday when his status changed to Please contact the Visa Application Centre for
further instructions , your attention is required at...... Mehn!! I was for once surprised dat a Forged doc cud scale tru d rigors of verifications by d embassy but damn he was strucked wit a shocker dis morn... Wen he got d instructions dat he shud verify some discrepancies in his statement of acc and return bak within 30days or be banned for 2yrs meanwhyl all his docs and passport were witheld by d embassy... He pingd!! Pingd!! Pingd!! Pignd!! Me dis morn .. To tell me dis sad story!... Pls nairaland peeps! I don't know d advice I shud give him.. I told him tho to write a letter and return bak VAC stating that he his no more interested in d study permit application that he has some tins to do here in nigeria... Do u guyz think I advised him rightly or what else do u guyz think he can do?... Mehn pls guyz let's stop all dis fraudulent submission of docs...as dis stops others who are genuine from getting what they deserve on time...xpecting ur responses pls.. Ciao!

Its not done month by month... One could get a response in like 2months depending on how accurate and verifiable ur docs are wit ease... For some it myt take longer cos of complications in verifying their docs and some again they abandon afta they try to verify and they get no results and attend to in a later date again and lastly it myt b cos of ignorance frm CDHC i.e They dnt even open d file for review.. Wateva d case may be... Itz serious prayers for swift response frm dem... And my advice is if anyones application as been with CDHC for above 4months shud try and go make enquiries his/herself citing a frnds experience who was jonzing for more that 4months and passed r start date. not until she went to the embassy with r mum and they found out that they haven't even touched r file .. Afta complains with vexations, they made efforts to review r file d same week.. And asked r to provide a new statement of acc... To cut d long story she was asked to go for medicals 3weeks afta they went to complain at the embassy.. And later got r TRV... Nobody get two head for visa app to Canada oo... Na only God .. I repeat GOD!!... Prayer is key!!

Amen!...GOOD NEWS for everyone IJN!! Amen!.... I submitted mid august to be precise... Goin to SMU in Nova-scotia... Am on a chill pill for any update from CDHC or VAC cos am still a rookie on waiting for updates... Sighting examples on those still waiting for updates from CDHC for 3-4months now..it is well and God help us all.. Amen

lokzie: Ok, here's some more info. i just noticed the page to download all study permit forms on CDHC website was updated recently -Date Modified: 2012-01-09 (September 1 2012). see http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/nigeria/visas/forms_study-formulaires_etude.aspx?view=d so if you are yet to submit your application but downloaded the forms before September 1 2012, you may need to check you have filled the current forms.Hope someone finds this helpful

lokzie: Just thought i should share this. Before you submit your application, in addition to all checks, always make sure you are using the most recent/current version of application forms. i began gathering documents and application forms long before i submitted and was at the brink of submission when i learnt there was an updated Form IMM 1294E. i was using 02-2012 version but 07-2012 had just come out. Hope this helps someone.

Bin a regular vistor on nairaland & dis thread.. Infact all ur comments and posts wit my own intuition was a guide for my application for a study permit.. Tho my application was submitted mid August as againt Jan 2013 start.. So am still on a chill pill cos I knw any response wnt cme anytime soon until october ending/november when d heart ache and worries wud start for me..lol.. As at now na serious prayers I dey.. God is indeed gonna make us smile in d end.. Anyone goin to Saint Marys Uni in Halifax Nova scotia.. Pls holla and let's rub some thoughts.. Happy weekend to every one and congrats to d TRV holders..
