#Follows thread: If I won't be too busy to log in, I'd like to post frequent updates of my new path to dressmaking. I've always loved to sew and buy lots of beautiful fabric without a thread or needle. Lolz. ... I've never used a sewing machine or cut fabric so my biggest fear is cutting the fabric right. Should I start with sewing patterns? How do i get around cutting a fabric? I got inspired by this lady's blog. She sews beautifully.

I'm using Youtube tutorials and some DIY DVDs. I'm not sure what brand of sewing machine to get - Brother, Singer or Kenmore? Can anyone advise?

If the quality of the leather is pretty good or top-notch, get it. My only issue with locally made shoes is when they stamp high-end designers like Prada on obviously fake leather shoes and bags. I won't be caught ... Quite embarrassing!

The curly one. From my experience, curly lace wigs make it easier to hide rough edges, dried glue and the obvious round hairline that everyone dislikes. My old secret - use a foundation on the middle part to give it a scalp-like color that blends with my skin. Then use tweezers to pluck out some hair along the part for a natural look.

Don't you like U-part ombre wigs? That's what I wear - Easier to fix and take off.

The weather is one of the reasons I couldn't wait to get out of the Dallas area. I moved out the same day I graduated!

Seunbunmi & Kpolli were in Houston this weekend, and I could not see meet y'all.

Lolz ... Looks like the dress actress Ini Edo wore at her wedding. It had all those layers at the bottom, but with a better fabric though.
Nice pictures you got there! I love busy wedding dresses; mermaid style with ruffles, beads and taffeta until I went shopping. A-line dresses got the best compliments on me, sadly enough.

@ OP: The beaded part on the chest and fabric cheapens the dress. Make a selection based on your body type.
