Funny stories! Back then in school, my friend, Phil invited a girl he met on africhat. We tracked her to the school park so as to evaluate her first. Mehn, when we saw her from a distance, we gave up(in yuzedo's voice) . Very fat and dirty looking. My friend jejely switched off his phone. We still continued monitoring her while contemplating how to give her a soft landing since it was late evening. The babe simply hooked up with another guy who took her home. We returned to the lodge. The next morning, she called my friend feigning anger. We just gave her number to a neighbour suffering from serious konji. He called her and claimed he was Phil, he then brought her to the lodge. She spent one week just eating and staffing. It wasn't easy forcing her to go. Before she left, he changed one digit of his phone number on her phone. He promised to send her money the next week. I still laugh when I remember the drama. |
I always said it. The life of a nation is a daily dialogue. Way to go Mr president. Civil societies, Labour, market groups need to discuss Nigeria's future. Not politicians. A politician thinks of the next election, a statesman thinks of the next generation. |
ucyoma: u r very much on point, am an Abian but d truth must be told. Abia sucks!!! What d idiot (T.A Orji ) has. succeeded in doing is to take Abia to lower level rather than higher level.Ikot ekpene road, umuahia. During his first tenure. I really had a good laugh. |
This is what outsourced staff in the banking industry face. They continue with the job cos they have no options. |
The experience an inlaw shared with me: The husband grew up in a home where the mum was the abuser. He ended up abusing his wife as a way of compensating for the dad. The age difference is 12 years. His happiest moment was coming home late in the night to meet his wife crying. The wife wasn't working so she was dependent on him for everything. Things changed when the wife got a good job. He now respects himself and complains she doesn't have time for him. They are now learning to live together. |
kreami diva: @ francafrank, do you think age difference between the couples also has a role to playPersonally, I don't subscribe to 10 year age difference in marriage. Many abusive marriages I know have this generational gap between. Depends on the people involved though. But then, what do I know? |
Good! Now that you have it back, do associate an email account and phone number with it. I usually verify mine via text message sent to my phone. Cheers. |
I have had this problem before. Did you associate any other email account with this mail account? If yes, using a pc, on the yahoo mail login page, and try to reset your password using "problem signing in". |
spongeback: And you also dropped a comment containing 26Thank me later. |
Ayee Idris: Very sad and Disappointing to see such a useful and important thread derailed by irrelevant discourse about employers and other frivolities. Very sad indeed.I concur. Some people here need to grow up. @topic, I am not married but have witnessed spousal abuse right from my undergraduate days. I will be sharing stories of how they overcame as time goes on. |
Ownership of warri is disputed among the Urhobos, Itsekiri and Ijaw for political reasons . @topic, the Olu forgot this simple truth. Give to ceaser what belongs to ceaser. He should have simply abdicated for someone who is ready to carry on with the tradition. He failed to carry the cross that comes with his newly found faith. |
tpapi: But wat rily happened, d condom broke or watThis in the height of insensitivity! Please read more. @op, just be strong. It is not a death sentence. |
Just learn that the power of a relationship is in the hands of he/she who cares less. |
obioraval: Check out merit telecoms and Astera. And send your cv as a graduate trainee. You could physically go to merit telecoms office and drop your cvThanks. Will do that. |
obioraval: @ Oga AJANLEKOKO and the other chairmen here, i greet you all. I must confess this thread really helped me in defining my career choice. I began reading this thread since 2010 when i was still a student and i graduated in 2011 with a 2'1, while awaiting my NYSC i undertook a training with TTC mobile. Currently i just finished my NYSC (june 2013) and following the advice i got from this thread i am currently with a telecom implementation firm that manages BTS installation as a graduate trainee. for my colleagues that just passed out, stop waiting for job of 250k cos sadly and unfortunately the jobs aint there unless you got EXPERIENCE. go for the experience. time is coming when your brain and experience will make you worth millions.... Thank you allHappy for you, this same opportunity is what I am looking for. I have even volunteered to work for free. I also passed through TTC mobile. As per experience, I partook in Huawei BTS installation and ZTE network optimization for a month. Still searching for opportunities to volunteer. May God help us all. |

Good day house, I studied Electrical /Electronics Engineering(2.1). As part of acquiring practical skills, I underwent training for six months at TTC mobile. I covered the CCNA and CWNA curricula as well as VSAT, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, WCDMA systems. I was fortunate to connect with some guys who gave me some radio network optimization experience. I have been applying for volunteer position to IT and GSM companies but no headway yet. I am based in Port Harcourt but I am ready to relocate if need be. Suggestions are welcome. yahoo.com |
