RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Makes Me Cry by zarazara: 12:07am On Apr 25, 2008
But he is right sha! you do have a choice and so does he. You have a choice to date other people if you choose. You have a choice not to marry him if he ends up proposing. If he's reminding you about your choice, I think he's secretly letting you that he has a choice too and your eagerness to get married may be causing him palpitation hence the reason we're talking about choices/why he's indirectly reminding you of your choice. Take it easy on the brother oh!
FamilyRe: Would You Attend A Wedding Without An Invitation? by zarazara: 11:06am On Apr 17, 2008
Strangely enough I am attending a wedding next week and I haven't been given an invite either. However I have bought the aso-ebi and as far as I'm concerned, that's my invite. She wouldn't have asked you to buy aso-ebi if she didn't want you at the wedding. And please, ya'll acting as if you don't know the stress involved with weddings etc. Maybe she didn't have enough invites, maybe she forgot, maybe she kept meaning to send it but never got round to doing it. Anything could have happened but she offered you the aso-ebi and you paid; I would consider that as an invite. There's no use jumping to conclusions that she didn't want you there. No one offers aso-ebi to someone they don't want at their party.

RomanceRe: Do Virgins Make Better Partners? by zarazara: 10:33pm On Apr 13, 2008
I don't see anything wrong with being a virgin and I don't see anything wrong with not being a virgin. A marriage is more than the sexual past of both parties. It's better to be concerned with whether or not, the marriage will be a happy one than on who's a virgin or not. I am tired of men who go around disvirgining other girls, saying they want to marry a virgin. What if the virgin is rude, has no manners, cannot cook or clean the house, disrespects your parents, has no moral values, lacks everything that makes a good wife but the non virgin has all these fine qualities that makes a good wife, would you still marry a virgin? Abeg, please.

Praise You in This Storm By Casting Crowns

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

Chorus

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

Chorus

I love My Best Friend's Wedding - it's a chick flick I know, but I love it anyway.
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Okay For Christians To Flirt? by zarazara: 6:38am On Apr 09, 2008
No, I don't think it is. Flirting is mostly associated with sexual things so flirting is like saying you want to get them into bed or something and if they're not your wife/husband, you have no business insinuating you'd like to bed them. At least that's what the Bible says.
Music/RadioRe: Rock Music Is Satanic? by zarazara: 6:36am On Apr 09, 2008
Not all music is. Basically, you can say the same about any kind of music (hip hop, r&B, even juju), any music can be satanic depending on who's singing it, what their intentions are and what kind of message they're trying to get across. i personally don't think rock music is satanic.
