Na wa oh! Children are not properties like cars or TV. God gave both parents the priviledge of looking after the children in this life, so I'd say both mother and father have responsibility for children and one is no more important than the other.

Don't be moved by just his performance in bed, there should be more to a relationship than sex. And if he's not pulling his weight now, think of what it will be in a few years from now, especially when marriage comes in and children come into play. Even if he doesn't have a job, he shouldn't depend on you for his financial needs. What about his family? Is he looking for a job? Does he have future plans?

I don't get why people would want to risk their lives for material things; isn't a life worth more than 10 cars?

You are too funny!!! I don't know that many Nigerian women that likes flowers though. It's too much work trying to keep the flowers alive anyhow. Being female myself, I'm not too keen on flowers but if you're going to get me flowers, then I think I'd prefer a bunch of roses and not a single rose.

You know what, I actually wanted to hear what everyone thought of this which is why I asked and I did value your comment so thanks for commenting. I also wanted to share my point of view which as you know is subjective, my view from how I see it. It doesn't make what you've said any less valid. This is an open forum and we're all allowed to voice our opinions.

You can't know what a woman wears under her clothes unless she's showing off her undies by wearing low waisted jeans etc, either way, whether it's deliberately on display or discreetly hidden, thongs are usually associated with sex and sexiness and I asked the question because this was the subject of a minor argument recently. You'll be surprised what some people are thinking concerning this matter.

I guess this is a hard one. I don't know if I'd want to but if they're dying anyway, it'd be somehow inhumane I think not to visit. At least to give them the chance to say sorry.

This sounds really good. Is it really in Ibadan? Have they got a website? The experience we had at one shabby hotel we stayed in made me vow not to visit Ibadan again. The accommodation was so bad, the food was appalling and one time the generator stopped working, can you believe that? And we didn't even get a refund. Anyway, we're planning to travel home soon so I might check this out. It'd be nice if I can see their website and see pictures of this 'Paradise on Earth' sha! Good looking out, thanks.

I have heard a lot of bad things about celestial churches but I personally know one or two people who attend celestial churches and who seem to be genuine Christians, I believe that only God can judge the state of one's heart, whatever denomination you belong to, people are saying celestial this, celestial that but you see, a lot of people these days, celestial, pentecostal, anglican, catholics or otherwise are too wrapped up in tradition and religion to truly follow God, when will people give up Christianity to serve Jesus Christ?
