Well I think your relationship with your maker determines whether you hear from him or not. |
It's addictive for amebo's who want to know what's happening in everyone else's lives, |
Na wa oh! Children are not properties like cars or TV. God gave both parents the priviledge of looking after the children in this life, so I'd say both mother and father have responsibility for children and one is no more important than the other. |
Don't be moved by just his performance in bed, there should be more to a relationship than sex. And if he's not pulling his weight now, think of what it will be in a few years from now, especially when marriage comes in and children come into play. Even if he doesn't have a job, he shouldn't depend on you for his financial needs. What about his family? Is he looking for a job? Does he have future plans? |
I don't get why people would want to risk their lives for material things; isn't a life worth more than 10 cars? |
That's easy, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya RIP |
How do you know God is talking to you? I am just wondering how we all hear from God, |
@ topic. Na wa o. So you want condoms distributed in churches. I suppose you won't mind giving car keys to a seven year old who wants to drive a car. My point is this: just because someone wants something doesn't mean it's good for them. It certainly doesn't mean the church should be supporting this. |
@ topic, if she has a new life and the old life of prostitution has passed away, I see no reason why you shouldn't marry her. I wouldn't worry too much about what your family will think. It is your life and you have a right to be happy with her, if she makes you happy. |
@ topic. No, you don't have to get baptised in a river. A swimming pool will do, or even an inflatable swimming pool so you can get baptised in your own church with church members as witnesses. |
When a Nigerian man gives you a single rose, he's one of the two things. You are too funny!!! I don't know that many Nigerian women that likes flowers though. It's too much work trying to keep the flowers alive anyhow. Being female myself, I'm not too keen on flowers but if you're going to get me flowers, then I think I'd prefer a bunch of roses and not a single rose. |
How would you know should her underwear is "THONG" or not?, you must have committed first degree adulteryfor you to knowAbeg, what was your point? |
na wa o so u really didnt want a contrary opinion, maybe the topic should have been"christian women can wear thongs" and maybe someone like me will have refrained from bothering to make a commentYou know what, I actually wanted to hear what everyone thought of this which is why I asked and I did value your comment so thanks for commenting. I also wanted to share my point of view which as you know is subjective, my view from how I see it. It doesn't make what you've said any less valid. This is an open forum and we're all allowed to voice our opinions. |
RIP Bernie Mac. Like George Clooney says: "The world just got a little less funny." |
And I forgot to say congrats! |
Wow, you really met your husband online. How romantic!!! |
Before you all jump down my throat, I think what a woman wears under her clothes is between her and her God, and maybe her husband too. I guess that settles the ridiculous question then, |
She is gorgeous. This pastor sabi good thing o! |
I had snake once. My cousin made it and said it was chicken. It was only after I had eaten it and even digested it that the 'rat' confessed it was a snake! I was disgusted. |
@ Lady, I actually had an argument with someone about this who swore it wasn't ok and I was very interested to see what others see. Excuse the 'ridiculous topic' but some people need answers for questions, however trivial, @ tpia, yes you're right. You can't know what a woman wears under her clothes unless she's showing off her undies by wearing low waisted jeans etc, either way, whether it's deliberately on display or discreetly hidden, thongs are usually associated with sex and sexiness and I asked the question because this was the subject of a minor argument recently. You'll be surprised what some people are thinking concerning this matter. |
Girls, when you receive a single rose by a Nigerian male, do you view it as if they were to cheap not to buy the other 11 or find it romantic that it is singularly beautiful, or what ever you are supposed to think about a single rose? |
in my own opinion, yes it isPlease explain why you think this. |
Is it immoral for Christian women to wear thong underwear? What do you think? |
I guess this is a hard one. I don't know if I'd want to but if they're dying anyway, it'd be somehow inhumane I think not to visit. At least to give them the chance to say sorry. |
Abeg who doesn't exploit kids? From Old Navy to Primark. It is sad.Yes you're right there oh jare. |
Yes it's good value for money but, knowing how they have exploited poor children in India, I am not too sure I want to shop there ever again!!! |
Yes I write stories, I tell stories, I create stories - some of you know these stories as 'news'. |
If your mother/father rejected you from birth and never made an effort to see you or develop a relationship with you, would you visit him/her on his/her death bed? |
This sounds really good. Is it really in Ibadan? Have they got a website? The experience we had at one shabby hotel we stayed in made me vow not to visit Ibadan again. The accommodation was so bad, the food was appalling and one time the generator stopped working, can you believe that? And we didn't even get a refund. Anyway, we're planning to travel home soon so I might check this out. It'd be nice if I can see their website and see pictures of this 'Paradise on Earth' sha! Good looking out, thanks. |
I have heard a lot of bad things about celestial churches but I personally know one or two people who attend celestial churches and who seem to be genuine Christians, I believe that only God can judge the state of one's heart, whatever denomination you belong to, people are saying celestial this, celestial that but you see, a lot of people these days, celestial, pentecostal, anglican, catholics or otherwise are too wrapped up in tradition and religion to truly follow God, when will people give up Christianity to serve Jesus Christ? |
