sometimes I wish you have human feelings and stop bigotry even for once, in this case, Innoson is on his right but you hate him because he's an Igbo man, a 5%er but you cover up by preaching one Nigeria. When these harassments come to a tipping point, those who you lay down your life and integrity fir will leave you and run away. I'm talking from the bottom of my heart, you can insult me if you wish but i won't reply you on this again cool

I am not igbo but I totally agree with you

Lol, seriously my sister, I feel you in a way but I can't imagine myself in your shoes. If you want to keep quiet and listen more than you talk, that's fine. If you also want to keep quiet because you dont think it's worth the stress to respond to some self-acclaimed, albeit foolish "wise man", that's also fine. But to sit and keep quiet, just because I want someone to see me as less a threat, even when I think my comment can gain me knowledge/clarifications or even help another, my dear, that I can't do o. I didn't come to this world to romance someone's ego.

I always do that cos I think its not worth it

Lol @romance someone's ego

yes i woudnt say you are not true, but to be sincere with you, many men get turn on with a very intelligent and witty lady who's very vast in different spheres of life.Be it as it may be,its only a 'mediocre' that see such a lady has "too knowing".When i know shes going to pass that 'trait' to my offspring.

Not many men my dear, here in the north 90% of men want dummies as wives, the kind that doesn't know half of what he knows. So even when we know we just have to shut and pretend we don't. Its frustrating though

I think most Nigerian women don't really debate issues when there is a potential suitor interested in them, in case the guys end up labelling them as too intelligent, argumentative or stubborn. The Nigerian guys ego is very fragile, so most women act less intelligent or don't debate issues to pander to their lack of self esteem.

God bless u my sister
Thats when you start hearing stuffs like 'you are smarter than your age'
As it is now i just sit down and listen, nod my head while listening to some dumb conversations with guys, contribute a little if i am in a good mood.

All those complaining about having to agree to the terms of this section before commenting are more of vague to me.

Y'all have a choice not to comment morever must you even comment its a muslim thread. And from your comments you dont like em' so why open the thread in the first place!

You agreed to the terms and still didn't make any meaningful contributions only to come here and vent.

All those of you insulting our God are only showing what your religion taught you, and we are so not surprised.

Its Eid and the only thing we want to share is love nothing more. Take your 'habits' to some other section or join us to celebrate love.

You shouldn't be disappointed. We really need to put an end to child molestation which is a common practice in a particular region of the country

I'm sure you wouldn't want you daughter to be in this shoe

You guys are quick to call out tosyne2much yet you NEVER even said a thing about the child-abuse and child-marriage. So you are more irritated by not-so-tribal remarks by a Nairalander than actual paedophilic crime and abuse in your nation?

I weep for Nigeria!

I dont have to comment and if I will i will make sure it's reasonable

I dont get, what almighty place? Care to explain what 'Kayan Mata' means?

Almighty place... i mean u know wink wink
Ok kayan mata literally means women stuff/property e.t.c. it comes in different forms, its like a mixed concoction made locally which is believed to sweeten, tighten and moisturize the "place" and so on it is either applied directly or to be drank. I don't believe in it anyways because some of these things can lead to cancer an so on.

SeniorZato:
Islam is the only religion with complete moral guidance. For those of u who are shouting why cant i kiss my wife in the presence of my kids. Ask ur selves this question. What are u teaching them?, how to kiss? Do you know the social implications of doing that in their presence? Children learn through immolation. Most of them will develop the urge and want to do same with their pairs. May God grant us pious children

Very true... but then the truth is bitter. Children are of nowadays are fast learners nd emulate what they see

I think location also plays a role. Its easier to learn in certain places than others but determination is a key factor.

Nop I don't think location has got anything to do with learning, u can learn in a hole as long u have the ryt resources and ur mind is set to do it.
