don't Open a position 2minutes before the news and 2minutes after the news.. meaning, you can open a position from 3minutes after the news upward.

that's a total of 4minutes danger period.. (2minutes before and 2 minutes after the news)


and when you are already holding a position before the news, ensure you close down the position 2minutes before the news to avoid story that touches.

Honestly it wasn't all that rosy.
some silly mistake really cost me badly..
I mistakenly open a 5 lot position instead of 0.5 lot on my very first trade.
withing a seconds before I know whats happening, I'm already at 1.4% in drawdown. it pained me so much and got me emotional to the point that I started acting erratic in the market chasing the loss. and you know what happen when you get emotional, you throw the logic and plan away and start trading purely out of emotion.. that's what happened to me. I refuse to tame my emotional outburst from the first error and it results to more losess. now I'm 2.1,% down.

I think I was just lucky, if not I would have lost the account..
but I'm calm now Sha.. this weekend help calm me down to re-organise.
