Ah ah na. Even before I sabi woman thing I been de trip for Beyonce. I remember I used to trip for her picture on the cover of her first solo album. I was dangerously in love with her, walahi.
I think d explanation is that the lightning can travel far away from where it formed due to precipitation and then strike in a place with clear weather.
Okay, okay, but that's strange like "Nigerian fim".
TywinLannister: Some of you need to learn to read properly before commenting. This event occurred in southern Kaduna which is largely a Christian-dominated area. The name of the person being interviewed is Simon. While the name and religion of the victim wasn’t published, it may be safe to assume he was also Christian as they raise cattle as well.
I'm not in about religious talks on this forum, but I think I read earlier on that the victim was from Bauchi and has been buried according to islamic rights. Or was it not this news?
Mikespecialone: Justice served , but I wonder how these people enjoy the kind of life they live
I just wonder. Leaving towns that's meant for humans to live in bushes meant for animals. I've always maintained that not all humans are actually humans. We have diffent species, just like we have in the animal kingdom. Just like tigers, cheaters, domestic cats, leopard etc all belong to the cat family, so is it with the human family too.
Nonexisting1: 'We received reports from our members that a criminal poisoned rice chaff'
Now we know how to deal with them killer fulani herdsmen and their cows.
Each time I watch videos of herders feeding crops to their cows, it's what comes to my mind. If I were a farmer, since I know these guys come to do that to my farm seasonally, I'd harvest some of my produce before they come (just like the farmers do in a community where I worked) then sacrifice the rest crops after poisoning them. I watched once where a farmer did that and the herder almost cried to death after realizing almost all his cattle were dead. The mistake this particular guy did was to reveal his identity to them. He would have just left the poisoned chaff on a farmland, maybe then they would have thought the incident was an outbreak or as usual a punishment from God.
Ebubu: This is how 99% of Nigeria's public universities are. Both state and federal.
Back then, ATBU Bauchi hostels were Okay, yet during the 2003 ( All African university games? Or so), was it South Africans or some other students from another country rejected staying in our hostels. They said it was not up to standard. The hostels/ toilets were Okay but the way students used to mess up, particularly the toilets, was on another level. I only stayed on campus for just a semester because of the mess. Nigerians have zero maintence culture when it comes to public facilities.
Don't mind our leaders, they are too disorganized with misplaced priorities.
What stops a serious govt from giving out a facility maintenance contract to a private/foreign firm and that takes care of the issue.
Abuja stadium has become a hub of rats, birds and rodents.
I would have written same, but I discovered our leaders aren't from Mars, Jupiter or Spain. We keep blaming our leaders but forget who they are. We are our leaders.
SmartPolician: The best thing that can happen to any man (who wants his marriage to work) is to have a wife that loves him more than he loves her.
Annie clearly loved Tuface more and Tuface married her out of pity because she has been through thick and thin with him. Thank God she's well now.
I don't understand this your motivational speech Sir. You said for a marriage to work, the best thing....blah blah blah. You still mentioned it's what happened in this marriage, but as we all can see, the marriage didn't work. So please, I truly do not understand your advice. I just believe relationships have no particular formular. Your formulas here didn't work either.
I'm just wondering why the students are being addressed as 'Bellstech students' when the school is not a university of technology. Their need for a catchy name took priority over the need for the name to be all encompassing.
I don't know about the school, never heard about it, but it's clearly written in the very first line of this article that it is a university of technology.
1. The spoken language is Fulani, until we have someone to translate . Nobody can claim to understand what is said. 2. No evidence of violence, or disagreement. Where are the farm owners. 3. It is a well known fact, that farmers often give out their farm to cattle herders for grazing in exchange for money
We should expect more anti-fulani propaganda in the coming years, as we edge close to May 2027 elections.
Your number 3 - It isn't usually the farmers but the community heads who go into such deals without the farmer's knowledge or consent. I've worked within such communities and seen the carnage such deals has have caused.
tuoyoojo: From the comments on Nairaland, you would notice that many People are generally unhappy to see marriages flourish.
They are generally happy when they hear of situations where people pass thru hell in marriage as that's what they are used to hearing as that ticks their preconceived notions
Anything outside the normal bad news about marriage, they attack. I would not have advised this man to bring his "wins" so far to cyber social space
TenQ: Marry the right wife and you will have in her an investment that your Children will benefit from.
Marry wrongly, then your investment is worthless!
Since I don't have control over my life, I build my wife that she can comfortably carry the load at my death
It's all about the FOUNDATION of your choice! If you chose wrongly, you have yourself to blame!
TenQ, thank you. We're talking about a wife here, not a so called girlfriend. See negative comments everywhere. What has marriage turned to in the eyes of the youths of today? No wonder tomorrow refused to come to the so called "leaders of tomorrow".
Xisnin: Very bad roads don't cause accidents, just gridlock. But small bad portion in a very smooth road such as pothole can also cause accident.
Yeah, sure, but people mostly attribute accidents to the very bad ones, forgetting how reckless drivers behave on the very good ones. Hence my assertion.
The crash occurred on Thursday, leaving several passengers dead and many others injured along Makurdi-Abuja road.
Among the victims are men and women who lay motionless, while others struggle with injuries.
In the footage, a witness is heard lamenting the driver’s excessive speed before the tragic accident.
When this driver overtook us, I was complaining about his speed. This Flight Bus, I was complaining. Just look at it. I was complaining about the speed of this very driver,” the witness narrated.
This isn't ghastly but fatal bro. Too bad. May they find rest.
id4sho: Reckless driving on New highway Smoothest road in Nigeria right now 🤷
When people say bad roads are the reasons for accidents, I never agree with them. Drivers seem to speed more and drive carelessly when the road is smooth. They are more careful and drive slower when the road is bad. Humans are very stubborn and impatient.
Nah wah o. Some people read a lot of meanings to trivial things. This life shouldn't be too difficult to live. Gangs of Lagos, to me was a classic movie full of creativity.
