I was trying to separate a fight between two adults, when I saw they were determined to go on at all cost, I let them be. One inflicted injury on the other then ran away. In his anger, the injured guy turned to me. Surprisingly his friend joined too. In few minutes I was surrounded by a crowd. What did I do? I heard many things from the crowd around me like "he's a thief, he was the one that stole so so and so. We'll burn him this night". While been lynched there was nothing I could do or say to defend myself. I would have ended like this woman, all people would have heard and some even believing would have been that a thief was caught, beaten and burnt to death.
