WE SHOULD BE CAREFUL EXPOSING OURSELVES TO BLOOD AND OTHER BODY FLUID OF THESE ANIMALS........YOU NEVER CAN TELL THE KIND OF PATHOGENS THEY ABHOR |
Reading this story just reminded that white men's trick did not start today, but thank God for courageous men like Jaja of Opobo. Two lessons from the story...........first, as a yoruba man but I must admit that Igbos are gifted with business acumen and high intellectual capacity. secondly, never trust a white man. No matter what...they do not keep to their words. |
SORRY TO ASK THIS OOO....YOU MUST BE LIVING CLOSE TO SOME IGBO IRUN-MOLE. |
THIS IS A BIG FAT LIE............ AM A PARENT.....RAPING YOUR 6 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER IS BAD ENOUGH, BUT SAGGING YOUR 4 YEARS OLD AND ASKING HIM TO RECORD YOU WHILE YOU MAKE LOVE TO HIS SISTER MADE THIS STORY TOO SENSATIONAL. IS EITHER THE AUTHOR DISTORTED THE TRUTH OR THE ENTIRE STORY HAPPENED IN HIS OR HER IMAGINATION. |
WITH THE RECENT SPATE OF BOMBING AND SENSELESS KILLING, I HAVE COME TO CONCLUSION THE COUNTRY IS FACING SOME INVINCIBLE FORCES THAT ARE HELL BENT ON DESTROYING THE COUNTRY. WE ALL NEED TO START PRAYING FOR THIS COUNTRY ......AND GIVE ALL NECESSARY SUPPORT TO OUR LEADER SO THAT WE CAN COLLECTIVELY WIN THE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM. |

GUYS....IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE DESIST FROM SPREADING PROPAGANDA IN ORDER NOT TO CAUSE UNNECESSARY CHAOS. AM A NIGERIAN EXPAT LIVING IN JOHANNESBURG, THE SITUATION ON GROUND HERE IS THAT SOME CRIMINAL ELEMENTS "AREA BOYS" UNDER THE PRETENSE OF WHAT THE ZULU KING SAID ARE LOOTING FOREIGNERS SHOPS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE EASY PREY. MOST OF THE SHOPS BELONG TO SOMALIS, PAKISTANI, ZIMBABWEAN. YOU HARDLY HAVE NIGERIAN OPENING ROAD SIDE KIOSK IN FOREIGN LANDS. |
Charles Novia should keep his opinion to himself................... I personally trekked more than 40 km in less than 20 hours once precisely in August 13, 1993. When the bus I was travelling in was robbed by armed robbers. I trekked from Ago close to Ijebu Ode to Ibadan between around 6 .30 am when we were robbed and 8 pm when I got to Cocoa Research Institute before some good samaritans helped me with money to complete my journey into Ibadan city. The distance between Ago and CRIN in Ibadan more than 40KM, but obviously my legs were sore for more than 2 days after that episode. |
I DARE ALL GEJ SUPPORTERS TO SAY AMEN TO THIS PRAYER........... MAY ALMIGHTY GOD RUN YOUR LIFE THE WAY GEJ IS RUNNING AFFAIRS OF NIGERIA.. |
What does Nigeria and Kenya have in common...? 1.) They are both the largest truly black lead economies in Africa....South Africa economy is predominantly run by white and non-blacks. 2.) Both countries have been plagued by insurgency Is this is a mere coincidence ??.....No I must say. Nigeria and Kenya has the potential to get it right and obviously become a true model for black emancipation. This is not driven by religion or ethnics ideology. The insurgency in Nigeria and Kenya is being covertly sponsored by western powers to undermine and slow us down these country. The following post is eye http://www.infowars.com/boko-haram-terror-attack-in-nigeria-opens-door-to-africom/ In 2012, The Nigerian Tribune reported Boko Harm’s funding was traced to the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, specifically from the Al-Muntada Trust Fund. In 2005, The Center for Security Policy stated “Al-Muntada has, incidentally, been particularly active in promoting Wahhabi-style Islamism in Nigeria… Al-Muntada… pays for Nigerian clerics to be ‘brainwashed’ in Saudi universities and imposed on Nigerian Muslims through its well-funded network of mosques and schools.” Similar schools, known as madrassas, were established in Pakistan during the CIA’s covert war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. They were financed by Saudi Arabia and its network of charities. “Between 1982 and 1992, some 35,000 Muslim radicals from 43 Islamic countries in the Middle East, North and East Africa, Central Asia and the Far East would pass their baptism under fire with the Afghan mujahideen,” writes Phil Gasper. The Afghan mujahideen would ultimately produce al-Qaeda and the Taliban. In addition to support by the Saudis, Boko Haram has received indirect assistance from NATO via Libya’s al-Qaeda mercenaries. We should wake up as citizen of this great nation......this is not Fulani...Yoruba.....Igbo........Kanuri...Ijaw....etc problem anymore. The problem confronting us is about forces seeking to balkanize our great nation so that our race "black" perpetually remain at the mercy of the power that be. |
And Then ? |
What is wrong in having both ? |
Ghana continually live in illusion....I was part of the team that help with redenomination of cedi in some banks back then in 2006. The exercise made cedi looks better than other Africa currencies by keeping it at par with dollar. Just six years down the line ......the cedi has lost most of the artificial gains. I hope the government will the right economy model to bring the country out of this conundrum. |
I could hardly see any meaningful human settlement in those pictures.........I stand to be corrected....but I still wonder where the over 70Million people attributed to the Northern part of Nigeria are living. Looking at the Northern cities on Google satellite map, these city does not seem to hold more than 200,000 people max. |
US cannot completely dissociate itself from Boko Haram..........and this has also proved that US is inadvertently trying to Balkanize Nigeria state. |
This should not be a big news..... For ministers information, some Nigerian companies have been exporting technology solution to Sub Sahara Africa countries including SA for more than five years. |
IGBO ARE DISGRACE TO THEIR ANCESTORS IF THEY HAVE ONE AT ALL............. FROM KENYA TO SOUTH AFRICA.....FROM AUSTRALIA TO US IF YOU DONT FIND THEM TRAFFICKING DRUG....THEY WILL BE INVOLVE IN SCAMMING. WHY DO THEY FIND IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE GOOD LIVING ?? |
Guys, Am a Nigerian working as consultant in J'borg. I think our fellow brothers are the root cause of the hatred for Nigerian. They come to SA with get money quick attitude think that the street of SA is laid with gold and platinum. Police criminal records shows that 3 out of 5 Nigerians living in J'borg does so illegally( exceeded number of days permitted to stay - a criminal offence) 80% of these people are either peddling drug or engage in other illicit. We have destroyed our own country...Do we think this people will open their eye and let Nigerian destroy their country. We "Nigerian" should search our souls....we keep blaming our leaders but we refuse to be the change we want. Taking advantage of other people ( in the name of being smart ) is normal thing for us. We get away with all this in Nigeria because our rubbish justice system, but we inadventently make our brothers and sisters from xenophobic attack because of the action of few of us. I worked in Kenya two years ago, it was the same story.... Drugs...bootlegging,prostitution that is where you will find our people. Now our people have started having problem, but we will rather go sentimental rather than addressing the fundamental issues. We need to seek to redeem our image....we need to let go our get rich quick mentality and embrace honest way of life like our grand fathers.... Zeem works and live in Sandton, J'borg |
One of my colleagues lost his aunt and 2 years old daughter in this accident. Is so sad........... |
I work and live in J'borg. For some of us exparts living in SA, the burden of being a Nigerian is enormous. Simply because our kinsmen are at the fore front of drug dealing and many other social vices. Much that I condemn the act of these people, I think they have the right within the ambit of law to do whatever they deem neccesary to get rid of whatever constitute threat to their community. --Ade lives in Sandton ! |
Very funny..... I always wondered if all these strange statistics are to bring Nigeria down. Nigeria may not be the best country...but I have been to worst places on earth even outside Africa. Mexico is an example of such place. A country that share border with almighty united state, but I thank God I was not born their. Back home in Africa, Nigeria is far better with lot of opportunities than even Kenya ranked better us. Where is Sierra Leone, Guinnea, Togo, Congo, Mali even Cameroon. These are countries that when I visited, I did special thanks giving for being born in Nigeria. I would like to advise that we should stop posting sensational news that drag the name of our country in mud. We are far better than most of these countries....just imagine how possible is it that Nigeria produce the richest black man on earth with staggering $12 Billion worth if it is the worst place to be born. |
What about this ? Obama back in the days in his Kenya village.

I have just confirmed now that majority of Nairalander are not well informed. Dragon's Den is not just about getting funding, but getting the right people on board of a startup business to give it a much needed impetus to succeed. From her pitch, Dupsy confirmed she has sufficient funding for her business but her primary objective was to bring as much dragon as possible on board. Business is not just about seed capital but business management skills that come with experience. So sad that rather than celebrating our own, some people would rather tribalise it as usual. The last time a Nigeria was on dragon's den was an igbo man pitching for seed capital to start a church in Nigeria. |
I think most of the guys making negative comment about Dangote are business naive. Business is all about maximising profit..which is driving force behind capitalism. Ibeto have done the right thing by seeking court redress. Our leaders are thief....people like OBJ only care about enriching themselves, this should not have happen in the first place. But they only care about themselve. I only hope Ibeto will get justice......... |
I wonder how Access bank got on the list....cos is one of the most f*cked up place to work in Nigeria. They have a very good CEO, a visionary with impecabble integrity. But beyond, there is nothing like work/life balance in Access bank. And you are lucky if you have a supervisor that allow you to close at 7.0 pm even if you resume at 6 am. |
