The Federal government plans to distribute 10billion naira as TraderMoni loans to petty traders and artisans in the 2020 fiscal year.

This will be done through the bank of industry (BOI) by providing interest free and collateral free loan to petty traders and artisans. The beneficiaries will have access to loan ranging from #10,000 to #100,000 per beneficiaries.
This will be part of the social intervention programs under the Buhari led administration.

An individual according to the TraderMoni guidelines after electronic registration has access to the first loan which is 10,000 naira. Upon repayment of the first loan, the beneficiary will be qualified for higher amounts from 15,000 upwards as they continue to repay.

The first loan can be accessed without BVN or Bank account, but these will be required for the next loan.
The federal government said it will annually increase the number of beneficiaries by 5million each year.
