Who? |
I have a British accent and It did attract quite a lot of attention during my service year. |
Born and bred in London, UK of Nigerian origin, recently did NYSC where I stayed in Nigeria for about 13 months (shuttled between Asaba and Lagos), before heading back to London last year November. Hit me up if you have any questions. |
Firstly R.I.P to the young man. Born and bred in Lewisham so I know these areas quite well, they are no different from other areas across London. Peckham earned it's reputation back in the 90's when crime and violence was rife. The gentrification of Peckham partly due to rising house prices has been altering the demographic of the community over the years. |
Midehi:Real talk. |
Foreign grad. Decided not to work my posting, ended up getting Delta. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control will have to redeploy, however regardless still looking forward to camp at Isselle-Uku and meeting the rest of you guys. |
MO25: bleeped up dead country, everything is complicated. What does it take to just put the gad damn call up letter on line for students to print out? Afterall we foreign graduates all did the physical verification. Why put a gaddamn date only to get there and not even one person to talk to all in the name of they in some dead ass meeting?Same here..absolutely ridiculous. Has any foreign grad collected their call up letter yet at their respective state secretariat? |
Yet the majority of people here will be claiming they are devout followers of Christianity, however are justifing such actions regardless. |
mrlycan: I am a member of Coza. I have been attending for over 6 years and a worker. For someone to come up with this kind of writeup, then she must be good. If you are a worker,to see reverend B is not that easy let alone have all the access to him and in his hotel. Ok,listen to this. I believe this girl must have been paid to do this job but she fumbled in one of her sentences. Since the inception of our new base in Abuja,we have not had a second service. Its always a one service sunday. Help me ask her where she attended her second service. Ask anyone who is a member. She did not do her homework very well. I have seen neighbouring churches luring our organist and drummer to leave coza and join them with the hope of getting paid monthly. We have one of the best instrumentalist and they work for.God for free. Pure envy and hatred. With so much been said abouy Rev B been the proud type. I once ushered.with some workers where he went to preach to a congregation of less than 100. He has been to bahamas, france,uk,US. If he will fall for flesh,he wont do it with a member ,not alone a worker. He can order for d best of ladies. What everyone sees is that his fame is soaring like virus. My message for Walter Ese,your generarions will suffer for this you have done. Its not a curse. How hypocritical..a follower of Christ is meant to be preaching tolerance and forgiveness, all I read here is bitterness and an unnesscary attack. I don't know whether the story is true or not but God will deal with whoever he wants via his own judgement not on your terms. |
Heres mine....

Nothing new. Just reinforces my belief that majority of Nigerian pastors are dishonest tending to twist verses of the Holy Bible for their own convenience. Cannot deny that in this scenario the woman is partly at fault to led. However as they say it takes "two to tango". Quite surprised that some are defendiing the pastor, he can commit as many affairs as he wants but should stop abusing his position and "supposedly" preaching the word of God. |
ola_pluto: Day 2...fair for Nigeria. 2 women miss out on final appearance after running very well. Nigeria win a silver medal (first since 1999).Would you mind telling us which athlete? |
Blessing Okagbare is obviously our best hope for a medal/s. Ato Boldon has stated he see her as a triple medalist in Moscow, which I see as quite possible but by no means confirmed. Despite what some you guys have stated, I actually think our 100m champion Egwero has a good chance to make the Semi-finals and who knows from there. He has a solid season's best of 10.16 and has shown consistency during his races this season, also ran an impressive 10.18 into a -1.6 headwind at the national trials, which translates roughly at about 10.08. After Blessing our best medal chances rely in the relays. Our 4x100 women team is probably one of the weaker ones in the last few years, but will as usual will fight for the bronze. The 4x400 teams will do well. I believe will make the final but a medal may be far fetched idea as of now. But who knows...... |
