2mch: People dont talk about you if you are not important. They can only make noise behind their master's back. undecided. Their NL campaign is a woeful failure. Yoruba's dont make noise, we act. Thats the difference between us and others. tongue

Insanity runs deep in your family?
Politics / Re: ACN Explores Partnership With US Democratic Party by Zeruchi: 3:23am On Sep 08, 2012
It seemed fitting cheesy

I hope Tinubu brings back the D.A.R.E program because drug use in Nigeria is definitely on the rise.
Politics / Re: Asiwaju Goes To Charlotte by Zeruchi: 1:50am On Sep 08, 2012
Never has there been a truer article. This can applied to numerous members of Nigeria's elite.

shymmex: Biatch, I asked anonymous6 a question based on her video - and the question had nothing to do with you. So, STFU!!!

I smell inbred inferiority complex, stupid scrounger..

Can you post a source for the 17th century quote or photo?
Culture / Re: How Can I Get Rid Of My Tribal Marks. by Zeruchi: 9:05pm On Aug 03, 2012
They can do skin resurfacing to minimize the difference between the mark and surrounding skin. Skin grafting and other stuff.

shymmex:

Even the name 'gele' sounds Yoruba, and I've seen pictures of 17th century Yoruba women wearing it... Edo women wear beads on their heads - and Igbo women NEVER used to wear head tie back in the day - they probably started wearing it after the white people came...

Just ignore the tribalists who like claiming everything as their own.. undecided undecided

Do you have any proof of the 17th century claim?

tadysmart:
Thanks you can say that a million times. The only tribe in Africa that rejected subjugation. God bless Igbo land.

This is not true. Numerous ethnic groups all over Africa fought the Europeans even in Nigeria major and minority groups often fought against the British.

However some of the longest drawn out battles against the British were in the SE. And one of the longest campaigns by the British gain control of a territory.

shymmex: Cowards are shook.. grin grin

We want equality in Lagos, yet you discriminate against osu people..

You'll NEVER rule Lagos, period..

Keep dreaming, cowards.. undecided undecided undecided

That's akin to asking Lucifer to give me control of hell, why would I want it?
Politics / Re: Ndigbo Wont Vote For ACN In Lagos by Zeruchi: 6:56pm On Jul 22, 2012
Old Wizard: Igbo are politically naive. Do they think this approach will fetch them anything? If anything, it would make the goons in Lagos more strategic in reducing the influence of Igbo further. Don't be surprise to see some funny economic policies in future!

If they are wise and strategic they should work with Akabueze to advance his political interests beyond commissioner level. They should prompt him to vie for Senatorial ticket or something in that line. It's easier to sell someone who is part of success story than using a party with a bad public perception to threaten a well favored party.

You build alliances, nurture alliances but not burn bridges.

Didn't I say this a few pages back wink

The strike-through are clearly false because I've pretty much followed this thread. She did not say ekiti was a variation of English, but she said Ekiti may have it own variation of Englsh Language just like Ebonics, NE American English or whatever.

Does she care? The fact she has to make up points says all you need to know cheesy

shymmex: If you guys can't marry osu people, then you need to STFU about Lagos..

You can only rule Lagos when you start treating osu people like normal human beings... grin

One race, one people... Equality for all!!

The struggle for the rights of the osu people continues... cool

I support your liberation struggle, when do you plan to take to the streets of the SE though? Or is this a UK effort only

shymmex: Igbos, you discriminate against fellow Igbos, yet you want other people to accept you.. Charity begins at home, sort out your tribe before trying to force yourselves on others..

- Real igbos vs fake igbos (Delta Igbos)..
- Osu caste system.
- Igbos vs Ngwas..

You guys need to sort yourself out... I wonder what an Igbo country would look like with your incessant infighting...

Better than Ibadan?
