Go to Stanbic Bank to make ur accomodation payment 2mao. Get ur pin afterwards nd confirm ur pin on portal.ui.edu.ng . Afterwards proceed to d porter for ur room clearance. After ur clearance wif d porters, den u are free to pack ur loads in. Hope u find dis helpful.

As long as u av paid 4 ur accommodation nd u've been successfully allocated a room nd u av ur accomodation Authority to Pay wif u, u may go for ur room clearance wif d porters of ur allocated hall for ur brdspace clearance starting from tomorrow. And immediately u are cleared by d porters, den u are free to pack ur loads in. GOODLUCK.

If u don't want to get stranded in skool,its better u put ur mind to 11th, cos much may not happen in skool dis week as per registration. I congratulate every1 who has made it thus far to dis point. It waz like yesterday wen we all started dis thread asking "wot is my fate?". But today we are all students of the University of Ibadan. D journery of a thousand miles starts dis way. Now d skool is resuming dis week, d activities of being a university student on ur own part has also started. Make sure u utilise dis chance which u av to be d best. Many of course u started dis race together, but today dey could not make it in, u are not better dan dem neither are u brilliant dan dem, God wants u dere dis time nd its left to u to repay back wot God has done for u by living ur lives for Him on campus. Don't be carried away by d fantasy of 'I'm now a university student, I can do wot pleases me'. Remember dat "Tsunami" still exists in UI. Tsunami means list of candidates dat will be sent away from skool after one or more session due to academic incapability. Make ur God nd ur book ur best friend nd let every oda tin be secondary. A word they say is enough for d wise. I pray we all dat started dis journey together shall live to withness d end in Jesus name. We shall not die but live to declare the Glory of God.
As regards d resumption. UI will officially resume tomorrow, BUT, mind u, dere might not be much happening in skool throughout dis week. Full activity may not start until next week. So for dose of us going to skool tomorrow, don't expect much. I wish us all a safe journey to skool. GOODLUCK ALL.

U don't need refrees 2 write letters 4 u. U only need 2 fill in 3 refrees name in2 d spaces provided. GOODLUCK

Evri course is competitive in UI my broda. So, work hard. Buh sociology is one of d most competitive courses in d social sciences.

Now dat u av already submitted nd printed out ur copy of the Authority to Pay, its not advisable u re-fill and re-submit it again. Jst leave it like dat.

Its not mandatory but compulsory cos u will be better off staying in d hostel in ur first year so as not to miss some tins. Buh, if u do not stay in d hostel too, nobody will penalise u for dat.

As a DE student, u are also a first year student of d University cos u will actually take some courses in d first year. So, u are also entiled to a space. So, u may also pay. GOODLUCK

One tin about uni is dat Freshers nd stallites don't often resume d same week. Freshers resumes a week b4 stallites. UI stallites are resuming fully on Jan 14th, Freshers Jan 7th. Buh dat January 7th is jst merely for arrival nd probably hall clearance with d porters. Registration of courses might not start fully until January 14th as u said. So don't get it twisted at all.

I think dis 10 tips shud summarise all d question u pple has been demanding to know.
(1) D freshers resumption date remains January 7th nd lectures begins January 21st.
(2) For dose of u dat av not seen either of ur infos "matric no or accommodation" don't make payment yet until u see dose tinz. However, dose tinz will be rectified soon nd if dey are nt rectified b4 resumption, u av all d whole time to report in skool wen we resume fully starting from Jan 7th.
(3) About d cooking issue, its safer u don't bring along much cooking utensiles to skool, though u may bring a little bit u can be able to convey around easily. So wen u stay close to a week in skool, u will av fully understand d situation of tinz as per cooking nd den u may decide.
(4) For dose in Mellamby hall, block A is a very good place to stay, it has flowing water nd its close to d hall gate where u can get all u want. I've stayed dere nd I know about it very well.
(5) As per payment, make ur skool fees payment to either mainstreet or wema bank branch anywhere in Nigeria nd ur accommodation fee of 14,000naira to Stambic bank branch anywhere in Nigeria. U are collecting two pins.
(6) Following dis, proceed to d portal to confirm ur payment with dose pins. Do all oda tins u need to do like d filling of d personal data nd d rest online.
(7) If u pay, u might not collect ur pin immediately, u may be asked to come back d next day.
(8 If u are not able to submit ur room application, u may try using internet explorer on a pc since some pple has used it successfully, tho I'm yet to try it also.
(9) U are not receiving any hostel or anyoda notification on ur fone tru SMS, all notification will be found on UI portal.
(10) D refrees u are asked to fill are d names nd addresses of those pple who gave u letters of recommendation during clearance. It is important u fill dose spaces. U will only add one more person since u already av two. Mind u, dey must not be either of ur parent. Registration has started fully. Dis is wot is called 'Registration'. So don't sit on d bicycle. If u av ur money now nd u av already received ur credentials like accomodation, matric no nd d rest, dere is nothing more u are waiting for, go to d banks nd pay so dat u may proceed wif ur registration process cos we still av a long way to go as per dis registration so don't waste ur time at all.
I hope dis 10 tips av been able to settle some hitherto uncomprehensible questions. GOODLUCK.

According 2 wot somepple confirmed as pasted in skool, resumption 4 freshmen is Jan 7th. Moreova, d skool calender states dat stalites resume 11th nd its not nd can never be possible 4 stalite 2 resume b4 freshers or resume 2geda wif freshers. Therefore, resumption still remains Jan 7th. Buh as someone asked earlier on dis thread, its not compulsory for u 2 resume on dat Jan 7th, u may resume anytime u are ready so far u meet registration. GOODLUCK

Yeah, d stuff is still not working properly. Even 4 me, it writes "submit hostel application" nd its not submitting. So dear, jst chill a lil bit, dey will definitely rectify it.

DuBooVay: you wud pay ur total fee as shown on ui's site together with ur accom fee at the bank.collct a pin and submit d pin as eveidence of payment online,den print it out and go to the financial office and collect ur official school receipt

U need 2 submit d original copy of ur Authority to Pay b4 collecting d official skool receit. Moreova, skool receit is usually collected during registration.
