Kennedyiheme:When u go to Lagos and see how big firms including auditing firms like KPMG, PWC and d rest employ CRS Education graduates from UNILAG while not even giving Banking and Finance graduates from Yaba Tech d opportunity to write d test, u will get the analogy better |
Lordnewton1:My advice is dat u settle for UNILAG cos in Nigeria d disparity between a University degree and non- university one is like "heaven and earth". So even if dem give u 'SWEEPING ENGINEERING' for University , u had beta take it ahead of Yaba Tech #MyCandidSubmission |
Olamitisoji:Nah dat one dem dey call "gobe" (lolz) But all hope is not lost for admission tho as the Lord liveth |
beejayodus:I do not think courses like Philosophy, History, Rel and even Pol Science, Sociology nd so on will require Lit in English. Find out if dere are spaces in those courses and he could obtain COC form wen d time comes |
beejayodus:Your friend could simply change his course to another course dat does not require Lit in English. He can't be robbed of admission simply cos he doesn't av a credit pass in Lit. |

#saykcent #kountonkcent(KOK) SITUATION OF THINGS ON CAMPUS AS REGARDS HOSTEL CLEARANCE Revolutionary greetings to you all. Except for Mellanby Hall, all other halls of residence has started the process of hall clearance, though on a limited level. Some halls like Kuti hall has started full allocation while some others are giving temporary accommodation till monday. The requirements are same as what had been posted by me. Your school and accommodation receipt you will get on Monday at the finance office and submit to your porters. In a nutshell, you may come for your hall clearance if you are not in Mellanby hall but you may not get the key to your real room until Monday when the process starts in full. Reason for Mellanby not attending till Monday is because unlike other halls, stallites are still in Mellanby hall which must leave before the freshers are checked in. More information will be given you as it comes K.CENT PRESIDING #SayKcent #teamkok 08032367927 BBM: 293349B5 Follow @UI_Gossipz on Twitter Join the fb group: #KCENT PRESIDING '15 |

As many as may wish to come may come but if you stay in a far place I advice you to stay till Sunday. I would have studied the situation of things tomorrow and I would give you feed back on whether to come on Sunday or Monday As Regards What You Will Need For Hall Clearance They are what I posted yesterday. #saykcent GREATEST UITES !!! As regards checking in into halls of residence, from my enquiries from some of the porters in the halls, it may not be too certain whether the checking in will start fully on Saturday. From their responses, one could easily deduce that the hall clearance and checking in is likely not to start fully until Monday, 23rd March, 2015. Therefore, it is advisable that you wait till Monday before coming for your hall clearance, that is if you stay in a far away place to Ibadan. But if you stay nearby to school, you may check on Saturday to see the situation of things. As regards me, I will keep you all informed if there is going to be any serious exercise on Saturday Once again, you need the following for your hall clearance: * ACCOMMODATION CONFIRMATION PAGE * LETTERES OF REFEREE * ACCOMMODATION RECEIPT * PASSPORTS * HALL DUE (VARIES ACCORDING TO HALL) Thanks K.CENT PRESIDING #SayKcent 08032367927 BBM: 293349B5 Follow @UI_Gossipz on Twitter Join the fb group: #KCENT PRESIDING '15 |
#saykcent A SUMMARY ANSWER TO SOME QUESTIONS THAT CAME UP DURING THE DAY For those whose rooms have not been approved, be patient as it will soon be approved. The way it is programmed is such that once you send a request, the Hall Warden will accept it on his computer. So for those of you whose accommodation application has not been accepted, it is simply that the hall warden has not accessed his computer system. So no cause for alarm As regards those who picked the wrong category, e.g Hall Executive, Sport, Press e.t.c., simply expect your approval and ignore the mistake as the hall warden will rectify that while accepting your accommodation request. For those who are yet to pick that, tick on "Others" As for people who wishes to pay for accommodation and school fees, be informed that you are paying the two into separate accounts NOT same account. And as regards school fees, you are paying the BUNDLED + GES FEE which is the total of your school fees, and you get that on the payment advice which is what you will take to the bank for payment. As for the accommodation, after approval, an Authority to Pay will show which you will print and take to the bank for the accommodation payment. You will get the account numbers at the various banks As regards those that are having issues logging in into the email account opened by the school, simply change the browser, e.g, change from Opera mini to UC browser and make sure you do not click on "keep me signed in" as this will disable you when you use another gadget to log in RESUMPTION REMAINS MARCH 23 AND ARRIVAL DATES MARCH 21. Things you need for your Hall Clearance include: * Accommodation approval print out * Copy of references submitted during clearance * Accommodation receipt downloaded from d email account after online accommodation payment * Passports K.CENT PRESIDING #SayKcent 08032367927 BBM: 293349B5 Follow @UI_Gossipz on Twitter Join the fb group: #KCENT PRESIDING '15 |

#saykcent GOOD MORNING OUR ESTEEMED FRESH STUDENTS Like I told you to wait till today Friday when you will see the details of Banks you are to pay your accommodation fees to before going to proceed with anything online. Now, the banks to make payment are available which signifies that you can begin your hall application as from today. The designated banks to make payment are as follows: * Mainstreet Bank * First Bank * Stanbic IBTC * Wema Bank * UI Micro finance Bank You can make the payment through Pin or Webpay (ATM, Verve or Master Card) Upon application for room, you will download the payment advice slip which you will use for your payment in the Bank. You will get the accommodation account number at the bank. After payment, the bank will generate a pin for you which you will use for your online payment. Hall application has begun in full Any other thing you need to know will be posted in due course Thanks K.CENT PRESIDING #SayKcent 08032367927 BBM: 293349B5 Follow @UI_Gossipz on Twitter Join our facebook group: #KCENT PRESIDING '15 |
#saykcent As regards the email account opened for you by the school, you need to be familiar with it as the school will relate with you through that mail throughout your registration processes. For instance, after payment for accommodation, the payment receipt will be sent on your email, and you will have to download it through your mail and bring it to school beginning from March 21st, alongside other things like the photocopy of one of the reference letters you submitted during your clearance, passport photographs, online printed accommodation form that shows the room you are allocated to etc, for your hall clearance before the key to your room will be handed over to you. That is the whole idea of the hall clearance we are talking about. Meanwhile, like I said before, you need to be a little bit patient till maybe tomorrow when the bank details and account number to pay your accommodation fee will be ready online before you start doing anything online. The school is presently in the process of making that available. Thanks K.CENT PRESIDING #SayKcent 08032367927 BBM: 293349B5 Follow @UI_Gossipz on Twitter |
TO FRESHERS : NB: please if you have submitted two reference letters before during your clearance do not bother to write another letter again. All you need to do is to submit a photocopy of it for hall clearance. Therefore, disregard the part of the earlier message that says you should write another letters. GOODLUCK ! #saykcent IMPORTANT NOTICE : Our dear freshmen should note that in the hall registration, you must first of all apply for a room. Then after applying, wait for confirmation of such application and thereafter, proceed to the designated bank to pay. NB: DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOU APPLY AND DO NOT PAY IF YOUR APPLICATION HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED. DO NOT PAY TO ANY PERSON, BODY OR BANK NOT RECOGNISED ON THE UI PORTAL. The school is in the process of releasing all necessary information and guidelines needed for both hall registration and payment of school fees. Please, do not be in a hurry and thereby, pay to unaccredited person, body or bank so that you will not be duped. It is advisable you wait patiently till Thursday or Friday this week when every necessary detail will be online before proceeding to do any thing or make any payment. Please Be Warned! This is a step ahead and also registration has started with this development. This is after the Senate meeting which is billed to hold on Monday, March 9th. Keep your fingers crossed till Tuesday and your application for room will be online not manually. So contrary to some people who want to come to school for that purpose, its not necessary. Payment of Accommodation starts immediately after allocation of room. You have 72Hrs only after your room has been allocated to you to pay or else the room will be taken back from you and re-allocated to another person. Therefore, prepare your #14,000 accommodation fee now. Further information will be supplied to you as time proceeds. GOODLUCK and do not forget to keep supporting #TeamKcentPresidingUI.SU Agenda. Sequel to my promise last week Friday to find out from the official quarters whether our fresh students can do their X-RAY anytime after March 23 (the resumption date), it has now been confirmed that it is a "YES" Therefore, for those of you who feel that you live in a far away place to Ibadan and would prefer doing your X-Ray anytime from March 23 when the real medical registration will start, you are allowed to do so.
