Same here. At a point I had the conclusion It was because I run a Nigerian account but there are other Nigerian accounts making it big on upwork.

Maybe buying some reviews will do the trick. I just lost.

The issue is definitely not my proposals because my proposals by God's grace had more than 60% conversion rate on fiverr Buyer Requests.

I don't use Upworks fully but I notice applying at 5 in the evening works and attaching a lot of evidences tends to work a lot. I always attach videos, screenshots per proposals, most clients are too lazy to view your proposals, A client on reddit mentioned it.

Yea, I do googlesheet with appscript too.

I have always been a fiverr person but fiverr is really becoming less and less lucrative.

Upwork has more jobs with better pay but I don't get a reply after submitting a proposal.

I think you need to diversify your skill and learn new tools. Excel is good, but most use Google Sheets and Airtable because of scripting, automation, and third-party integration with services.

You can explore multiple profiles, you don't have to be just a Power BI person only on Upworks, you can fulfil other skill-sets too, there are some skills you can do that just requires focus, and administrative skills.

I went back to my upwork account after roughly 2 yrs, made some profile improvements and started submitting proposals.

I have submitted more than 20 proposals to jobs I am � qualified for but haven't even landed a simple interview.

Please am I doing anything wrong? I am yet to make a first sale on upwork. Do I need to buy a review before I start getting noticed?
