The cash is excluded from the normal charge for service you offered.

It just happened at the last week of the month.

I'm sorry to bother you all this early morning with this my story.

Apologies for any blunders spotted, and sorry for the lengthy post.

I have a niece who unfortunately the mother died when she was barely a month old, and her mother was my only sibling as my mother gave birth to two of us, remaining only me now. Her death was really painful to us, but i thank God for consoling us especially my mother.

During her pregnancy, she never made mentioned of the person responsible for her pregnancy inspite of my mother's threat. When the inevitable happened we had no other option than to adopt the child. We were praying earnestly that the child survive, glory to God she did survive though it wasn't easy, as at now she's 14years old and currently in SSS1.

Last week my mum called me that my niece says she's coming to Uyo were i am staying to stay with me since there's no school for now, which i obliged to it immediately. Prior before this call, my girlfriend whom i intended to marry was staying with me. I informed her immediately that my niece is coming to stay with us for a short period of time, immediately i told her this, her countenance change through out that day. I keep on asking her what the matter was but she keep on saying nothing.

Monday last weekmy niece arrived my place.

My dears ever since my niece set her foot in my house, this girlfriend of mine whom i intended to marry turned to something else. She stop cooking, washing and sweeping, all she does is to ordered my niece around as her house help. I was so hurt seeing this that i confronted her thinking that she will change, but she went from bad to worst.

Yesterday morning i overheard her telling my niece to wash the toilet and mop the floor before thinking of eating. My niece replied that she's too tired that she won't be able to do it(I was actually happy inside when i hear this)

What follows next was a sounding knocked she gave to my niece and the poor girl screamed and started crying.

Truth be said, i was so furious that came out of the room. I didn't asked her anything i just told her your cup is full today. I dealt with her seriously. The beating i gave to her was out of this world, that she was bleeding, though later in the day i took her to a nearby clinic for treatment.

I have learnt alot this few days. Men should be careful of the type of women they intend to settle down with.

As some of them will manipulate you that you start hating your family members or stop them from coming to your house for no reasons if you're not strong.

I want her to get well after that i will put an end to the relationship, all marriage plan cancel, and no going back and no regret.

Imagine if I've gone ahead to marry her. Is this how she will be maltreating my niece? obviously i will forever leave in regrets.

If you ask me if i feel sorry for beating her, truth is, there's no atom of regret in me, and i will never feel sorry for her. If she has the mind to maltreat a poor girl whose mother is late, she's capable of anything.

About the targeted ads stuff, Facebook does convert pretty well if done right. But I won’t advise running ads on your gig, it’s best to create your own company/business offering same service(s) as your gig and run ads for your business.. this gives your business/brand more exposure and it also saves you the 20% Fiverr gets from your gig sales

The running costs you quoted are way beyond what I can possibly imagine.

Having your own website plus payment gateway is the best. The advantages are a lot better than Fiverr or any other marketplace as they always favour buyers.

Depending on the services you provide, running cost of your website plus ads is less than $1,000 per month (international audience) or $500 per month (local audience)

You can charge more, upsell and maintain customer loyalty which is the backbone of every successful business.

You won’t even need a website if you provide design services, they do well on social media with the organic reach.

I have thought of this but don't know how viable it would be considering that I will spend in creating the website and all.

Has anyone here successfully turn their fiverr gig into a business they own and control? i.e like starting a company from your gig.... a mini company tho. Your Fiverr account will still be active and your personal business website will be active as well. This way one can successfully run Facebook ads and other targeted ads with their business to get clients and also depend on Fiverr traffic to get clients from that side...
I’m planning on going this route. My gig is a lil bit different and so far so good it’s been good even for a no level user like myself.

I really need an advice. I currently work with one of the Nigerian banks. My monthly take home is about 450k and quite good. My major problem right now is that I have just been transferred from a Branch at one end of Lagos to another end of Lagos. All efforts to convince my boss to deploy me to a closer branch has proved abortive.

Going to work daily right now is a very difficult especially during this raining season and covid 19th period. I spend roughly 3-4 hours on the road when going to work and back home.

I am currently raising my kids on my own right now and dont know how I would manage when school resumes. Before now I drop them off on my way to work in the morning and my friend picks them up to her house in the afternoon till I get back.

I'm in my early twenties (20's) and currently a student in one of the prestigious university in Nigeria.

Before I got admission, I usually help my mum to sell onions in Ajegunle market aka boundary market in Lagos State.

Ever since schools were shut down due to the pandemic I've been scared of helping my mum because of the despicable rules or laws guiding the business which i might not be able to keep to it thereby putting my mum in trouble and that's the only means of survival for me and mum for now.

My mum belongs to a group of people that sells same product and they are usually referred to as Union and the leaders are the one dishing out those annoying laws.

Examples of such laws are:

1. You don't buy more than the quantity of goods apportioned to you else you will be fined and suspended from selling but the so called leaders go contrary to these laws

2. They tell you when to buy goods i.e before buying new goods, you sell your old goods for 7days not minding if the quantity apportioned to you is enough or not. My self as a case study, we were apportioned 3 bags of onions and I sell 3 bags in 3 days so me and my mum would stay at home for 4days before going to buy new goods.

3. They tell you when to start selling which is 10:00am everyday excluding Sunday and this law was before the pandemic

4. They tell you how to sell i.e the size of onions you are to sell for a particular amount as if they borrowed you money or they are the one giving you money always to buy goods.

And many more of these unimaginable laws. Right now I confused! I don't know the best way to go about this and I really do wish to start selling because I'm broke and I've so many responsibilities to care for financially.

I need legal help, advice on how to go about this until I get something else to do or probably a work or a different business.

The reason for going into business is to make profit and save for rainy days but the reverse seems to be the case here.

Alright bro. What you should do is to try the withdrawal of a little amount of money. This way, you will be able to know the landing time, landing amount and if there are other hidden charges from your bank.

I initiated a $$ withdrawal to a dorm account yesterday (withdrawal to access bank) and it landed same yesterday. But if I had done same to a naira account (Zenith Bank), it will take sometimes because you will have to write a letter to your bank confirming source of fund and also exchange rate.

Direct bank withdrawal remains the best anyway.

But were you gigs not on search result then? Did you write them that your gigs were not on search results or your gigs were on the last page?

In my case, I went back and forth with their support. They kept saying I'm on search results. Lol. I told them it doesn't make sense if clients have to use filters to find my gigs.

I opened 3 tickets within 5 days.

On the 7th day, my two gigs came back to the first page.


The other guy is still struggling, his gigs are still on the last page. Fiverr support even sent him a screenshot of his gigs' positions, using 'LEVEL 1' under filter.

It's crazy.
