They must stop being busy bodies in other regions and focus on their wretched and under developed poor states It is as though the SE is really a problem to you. Otherwise I don't see how they are connected to the unfortunate people we have as leaders |

Evilthoughts: The same way some idiats in the sadEast are dancing shamelessly supporting genocide all because the victims are muslims? Let the law makers focus on Nigeria first. It is also wrong to compare masses with elected leaders who should be offering solution to the many security issues we are having. These same set of people doing busy body have their constituents firmly under bandits and terrorists kidnapping and maiming their people. |

Eriokanmi: Like they did to boko haram, bandits and ipobs unleashing terror on Nigerians daily? Useless buffoons.
In the last 24-48 hours, boko haram killed about 19 farmers in Borno, ipob killed a guy's friend today as read here on NL. In Benue, many frared dead today. Nigerians lose their lives daily but they don't care.
Had Nigerian leaders attacked these killers the way Istrael attacked hamas for killing over 1,000 of their fellow citizens, we'd say, we have good leaders. Nigerians' lives don't matter to them.
Nigerians see the people you voted into power. I think you guys deserve being made laughing stocks Don't mind the bunch of useless people |

1. you are a nazi supporter ( current term NATO should have been disbanded and USA and UK keep of middle east
2. This is not the 1960 isreal will be stress out from multiple points
USA will be fully occupied in other locations
All I see is China and Russia plan to distroy USA Interestingly, the only tangible force to try and stress Israel is Hezbollah, however, they are very reluctant to enter the war as Israel will deal mortal blow to Lebanon as a country. Remember, Hezbollah itself is quite unpopular now with the masses of Lebanon who blame them for the crumbled economy. I don't see them making the mistake of entering the war fully. They are likely going to stop at the current skirmishes which 50 of their fighters are already dead from IDF strikes on them |

One of the rhetorics when subsidy was removed was that, borrowing has stopped completely as we saved money from the subsidy. 1tn was brandished by propagandist immediately as saved. Why are we still borrowing when we are saving much from subsidy removal? Tinubu is just another failure albeit of greater proportion |

Ekpekus: Now you have followed the short cut of the 98% (according to your statistics-with no evidence) and you are at the verge currently. I believe there are post on NL in the past that candidly advised on the need of getting at least the school fees settled as a student but then you would have brushed that aside with the saying " make we reach there first, we go rough am". Na the roughing we dey see so. So, the take home from this situation is to candidly advise people to at least get their fees paid. Anyway, I wish you all the best and hope you find a job soon that can alleviate the current predicament. I don't know why you can't understand that, you and the guy are saying basically the same thing. He repeatedly said he is warning others not to make the same mistake he made, but rather prepared well, just like you are also saying. He is only encouraging people to go through standard procedures and not short cut like him, the same thing you are saying. So what's the issue here? That he ignored warnings and went about it abnormally doesn't mean he cannot warn others. Let those who are planning to follow his footsteps heed the warning. Of course some will hear, others won't as usual |

kernniejay: From the onset, I knew that Hamas has made a huge mistake by choosing a wrong battle against Israel that had hitherto been in hibernation mode. Hamas did not let the sleeping dog lie in peace but has decided to stir the hornet's nest, now the hornet is stinging them mercilessly at every angle and they are now paying dearly for it. It will soon get to a point where Israeli soldiers will array themselves along the palestinian borders and any civilian that wants to escape must pass through a thorough scrutiny so that fighters will not sneak out among fleeing civillians. They always make that mistake. Israel isn't a country that jokes with their security. I read somewhere how Hezbollah leader was regretting why they provoked Israel to the 2006 war, he said if he had known that Israel will respond the way they did, he wouldn't have gone that far. It is One of the reasons Hezbollah isn't quick to open the war on their front. I am sure Hamas leasers will be regretting this privately |

The only difference here is your stinking cowardice.
Most decent people around the world know the IDF is an army of killers of innocent people without real stuff except goons your type.
Hamas is underground for God's sake. Let them get down into the tunnels to get Hamas if they can!!!
Why murder people taking shelter in the Hospital?
I know the end of the Zionists is very close.
Insha Allah Kai, this your rant, like Hamas is innocent. They killed innocent people and kidnapped many but you didn't condemn that. We wouldn't be experiencing this sad tale of Hamas did not carry out the terror attack. By the way, to balance your logic, let the coward Hamas hiding inside rat holes come out and defend her people. Politics › Re: Petrol: Marketers Fault Subsidy Removal Process As Queues Return by zikter(m): 7:14pm On Oct 06, 2023 |
Paraman: The only time a marketer was allowed to import petrol is in June. NNPCL have been the one importing since then. Marketers can buy from NNPCL. The likes of Mobil, Northwest, BOVAS are not importing oil but they are still selling and competing with NNPCL.
So far you have your money, you will buy fuel at the same price the NNPCL is getting their own.
A lot of independent marketers have been run out of business since fuel subsidy was remove. This are the set of people that have been fleecing Nigeria.
There will be no fuel scarcity of que in Nigeria, NNPCL is on top of the situation. Some wise filling station owners have lease out there filling stations to NNPCL So what is the point in deregulation when NNPCL is the sole importer again? Licenses were granted to people to import fuel and sell so that, we will have a free market. However, this is made impossible by FOREX issues. The companies cannot get FOREX at official rate while NNPCL does. Again, there is the question of partial subsidy as government is trying to keep fuel prices low and this is exclusive to NNPCL. Yes, clearly the major oil marketers as you mentioned have preference with NNPCL than the independent marketers who source for their products in private depots. This is while there is a always a pricing gap between major and independent marketers. Even with the major marketers, the challenges are becoming obvious. You can see some opening only twice a week. It is not uncommon to see the mega total filling station at bank Anthony way in Ikeja close gates this days, i.e if you the place I am talking about, you will understand. The Mobil I use hardly open 4 days a week this days. The signs in the oil industry are not encouraging at all |
Politics › Re: Petrol: Marketers Fault Subsidy Removal Process As Queues Return by zikter(m): 3:36pm On Oct 06, 2023 |
Paraman: Why are you asking me this kind of senseless question? The NNPCL have been importing petrol into Nigeria and they are not complaining. I wander why the marketers should be complaining on their behalf. Why are talking like this? Ask yourself this question, do the marketers have access to dollars like NNPCL you are comparing them to? Who is even agreeing to borrow them money for business. Again, with the rising price of crude oil and free falling naira, even the NNPCL is been subsidized, otherwise there is no way petrol will go for the current prices. So assuming you try hard to import and land the product at 720, will you go and sell at 617? Meanwhile your competitor is whose product is subsidized is selling at cheaper rate. Who now will buy your own? Let us say the truth, subsidy removal is good but the process was poorly managed. I agree with this article 100% |

A country where illiterates are politically forced on a nation in connivance with some eternally cursed southern stooges I don't think the leaders you are referring to are illiterate by any measure. Check their bios and you will discover that they are very well educated both home and abroad and well exposed. They may even be more educated and exposed than you speaking. Their bad leadership has nothing to do with their education. Let us just say they are educated but bad leaders. Note that both the southern and northern leaders are inclusive in this bad leadership palaver |

Igboslayer: Best way to remove subsidy is in phases. Remove certain percentage quarterly and use the money gained for all to see. Removing all at once is like drowning a child because you want him to own a swimming pool. He may not live to swim in it This is the only reasonable approach. While doing this, deal with the corrupt people assumed to be benefitting the subsidy, ensure local refining as well. Fuel price should have moved from 185 to say 220 per liter first. |
